        DOUBLE STARS AS TRACERS OF TINY STRUCTURES IN THE INTERSTELLAR MEDIUM

        Observed spectra of stars around the Sun have indicated that the Sun is located in a gas cavity, extending to 100pc. This gas cavity is called the "Local Bubble". The density of the interstellar medium (ISM) in the local bubble is about one tenth that of the average for the ISM in the Milky Way. Furthermore, some structures such as gas planes and strings in the local bubble are probably the result of supernovae. These, due to their low temperatures, can not be observed in the visible and infrared. The only way to do so is to measure the spectra of nearby stars so that the light of stars passing through the local bubble is absorbed by existing gas and the resulting spectral lines from absorption can be measured. In this study, we use binary stars to trace the local bubble structures through lines such as the Na I Doublet. First, we determined the observed spectral lines of stars by HARPS and FEROS echelle spectrographs. Then, we made synthetic spectra with the ATLAS9 code. Finally, the difference between the observational and synthetic spectra confirms the existence of the Na I Doublet in the local ISM.

        교육과정에 따른 고등학교 지리부도의 체제 및 내용 변화

        This study aims at reviewing how the structure and contends of high school student atlases reflects the changing national geography curriculum. Firstly, the format and the composition structure were considered. And material composition and typology were examined for Korean regional geography subject. The results of this research is as follows: First, All student atlases are composed of contends on Korean regional geography and world regional geography, and appendix including statistical materials and index. Second, except the first curriculum, student atlases were regional rather than topical in their internal organization. Third, the theme of Korean geography parts always included the chapters of `natural environment and human life`, `climate and human life`, `resource and industry`, and `the lives of the regions`. Fourth, student atlases was publicized reflecting the changed contents of revised education curriculum, according to time and social demands. It is found out that the recorded materials themes and types and so on reflected the contents of textbooks.

        디지털국토통계지도 시스템 개선에 관한 연구

        National atlas map for provide various information is one part of National territorial Statatics Survey but National atlas map in 2004 year don`t have stability and ability. National territorial Statatics Survey in 2005 years have octuple data compare with data in 2004 years but have only one map. One map is going to provide with stability and ability. We don`t use DBMS, But We make a similarly struct in file based program. We programmed system of dynamic-linked data with spatial data. To dynamic-linked system, we make search engine to based index struct and make combobox search system. spatial data only have index codes(year, national terrial indicator, area). If spatial data request specfied data, search engine search index code and provide DB data. New system is middle step of using DBMS. We redraw map for display real Korea area (with dokdo). New map is shape and similar Korea map.

        횡방향 구조 트랜지스터의 특성

        Conventional transistors which have vertical structure show increased parasitic capacitance characteristics in accordance with the increase of non-active base area and collector area. These consequently have disadvantage for high speed switching performance. In this paper, a lateral structure transistor which has minimized parasitic capacitance by using SDB(Silicon Direct Bonding) wafer and oxide sidewall isolation utilizing silicon trench technology is presented. Its structural characteristics are designed by ATHENA(SUPREM4), the process simulator from SILVACO International, and its performance is proven by ATLAS, the device simulator from SILVACO International. The performance of the proposed lateral structure transistor is certified through the V$\_$CE/-I$\_$C/ characteristics curve, h$\_$FE/-I$\_$C/ characteristics, and GP-plot. Cutoff Frequency is 13.7㎓.

        Changes in the Socio-Spatial Structure in the Tokyo Metropolitan Area

        The purpose of this research is to conduct a socio-spatial analysis on data from 1990, 2000, and 2010 using identical indices with the Tokyo Metropolitan area, spread over 4 prefectures and 1 city of Tokyo-to, Kanagawa-ken, Saitama-ken, Chiba-ken, Ibaraki-ken, as the analysis area and to use this to conduct a comparative time-based study. The analysis region was within a diameter of 60 km from the centre of Tokyo Station, and the Basic Grid Square was the unit of analysis and representation. The analysis results indicated that there were 3 types of changes including a) progress of decreasing birthrate and ageing population in almost all regions in the 60km area, b) changes arising in urban cores of polarization into new middle class and working class and accumulation of service jobs, c) changes arising in surrounding areas of accumulation of distribution facilities primarily in manufacturing.

        한어(漢語) 비모음의 언어 보편성과 지역 분포 특징

        The World Atlas of Language Structures (WALS) reports that nasal vowels do not occur in languages of the Eurasian continent. WALS erroneously analyzes Chinese languages as not having nasal vowels that contrast phonemically with oral vowels and misreports their geographical distribution due to a substantial lack of language data in mainland China and imbalances in the analyzed linguistic data. The purpose of this study is to analyze the language universals and patterns of the geographical distribution of nasal vowels in Chinese languages. In this study, nasal vowels appearing in each region are investigated, the language universals and specifics of nasal vowels appearing in Chinese languages are analyzed, and patterns of the geographical distribution of nasal vowels are identified. Based on previous studies, this study analyzes the typology of nasal vowels appearing in 351 dialects and local varieties of Chinese. Nasal vowels in Chinese languages show both universal and specific features in their inventory size and frequency of occurrence. This study thus demonstrates that most of Eurasia has nasal vowels, and provides data for revising the Chinese part of the nasal-vowel map of WALS, which was left almost entirely blank, to improve the regional coverage of nasal vowels.
