광복이후부터 현재까지를 제정기, 조성기, 정착기로 시기를 구분하여 태권도 경기규칙 역사의 사건사고에 흐름 속에서 개정 변화된 부분에 찾아 검토한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 초창기 경기규칙은 무도적인 측면을 강조하며 일격필살의 정신을 중요시하였기 때문에 사망사고의 문제점이 발생하여 보호구가 의무화하는 경기규칙과 경기환경적인 요소에 변화가 있었다. 둘째, 90년대까지 사건사고들은 전부 편파판정에 대한 불만족이고 가해자는 선수부터 코치, 감독, 임원, 학부모까지 다양하였으며 심판폭행까지, 경기규칙의 적용미숙과 판정에 대한 불만족 등이 대부분을 차지하였다. 셋째, 사건사고는 규정 변화의 필요성 및 안전에 대한 규정을 지향하며, 개념별, 기능별, 행위별로 변화를 가져오기 위한 노력으로 이어졌다. 겨루기경기규칙은 지금까지 27번의 개정이 이루어졌으며, 현재도 진행형으로 수정 중이다. The following conclusions were obtained as a result of reviewing the revisions and changes in the trend of the history of Taekwondo competition rules by dividing the period from the period after liberation to the present by the period of establishment, creation and settlement. First, since the early competition rules emphasized the martial arts aspect the spirit of mortal blows, protective gears have become mandatory in order to prevent fatal accidents. Second, until the 1990s, all the accidents were about inadequate application of game rules and dissatisfaction with the referees" judgements and they led to referee assaults. The perpetrators varied including players, coaches, head coaches, presidents, and parents. Third, incidents and accidents pursued the necessity of change in regulations and they led to efforts into bringing changes in regulations by concept, function, and behavior. The sparring rules have been reivised 27 times so far and are still being revised.
