        수치모델 강우 및 토양수분 자료의 공간보간 처리환경의 비교

        For data such as rainfall and soil moisture, it is important to obtain the values of all points required as geostatistical data. Spatial interpolation is generally performed in this process, and commercial software such as ArcGIS is often used. However, commercial software has fatal drawbacks due to its high expertise and cost. In this study, R, an open source-based environment with ArcGIS, a commercial software, was used to compare the differences according to the processing environment when performing spatial interpolation. The data for spatial interpolation was weather forecast data calculated through Land-Atmosphere Modeling Package (LAMP)-WRF model, and soil moisture data calculated for each cumulative rainfall scenario. There was no difference in the output value in the two environments, but there was a difference in user interface and calculation time. The results of spatial interpolation work in the test bed showed that the average time required for R was 5 hours and 1 minute, and for ArcGIS, the average time required was 4 hours and 40 minutes, respectively, showing a difference of 7.5%. The results of this study are meaningful in that researchers can derive the same results in a commercial software environment and an open source-based environment, and can choose according to the researcher’s environment and level. 강우와 토양수분과 같은 자료는 지구통계자료로서 필요로 하는 모든 지점의 값을 구하는 것이 중요하다. 이 과정에서는 일반적으로 공간보간이 수행되며, ArcGIS와 같은 상용 소프트웨어를 이용하는 경우가 많다. 하지만 상용 소프트웨어는 높은 전문성과 비용으로 인한 치명적 단점이 존재한다. 본 연구에서는 공간 보간을 수행하는데 있어서 처리환경에 따른 차이점을 비교하기 위해 상용 소프트웨어인 ArcGIS와 오픈소스 기반 환경인 R을 활용하였다. 공간보간에 사용된 자료는 LAMP WRF에서 생산된 기상예측 자료를 기반으로 누적강우 시나리오에 따라 산출된 토양수분 자료를 사용하였다. 두 가지 환경에서 산출물의 결과값은 차이가 없었지만 사용자 인터페이스와 계산소요 시간 등에 차이가 있었다. 테스트 베드에서의 공간보간 작업 결과는 R의 경우 평균 소요시간이 5시간 1분으로 나타났고, ArcGIS의 경우 평균 소요시간이 4시간 40분으로 각각 나타나서, 7.5%의 차이를 보였다. 본 연구의 결과는 연구자가 상용 소프트웨어 환경과 오픈소스 기반 환경에서 동일한 결과를 도출할 수 있으며, 연구자의 환경과 수준에 따라 선택해야 함을 실례를 들어 제시한 데 의의가 있다.

        직접유출량 모의를 위한 ArcGIS 기반의 모형 개발 및 개선

        The Long-Term Hydrologic Impact Assessment (L-THIA) model is a quick and straightforward analysis tool to estimate direct runoff and nonpoint source pollution. L-THIA was originally implemented as a spreadsheet application. GIS-based versions of L-THIA have been developed in ArcView 3 and upgraded to ArcGIS 9. However, a major upgrade was required for L-THIA to operate in the current version of ArcGIS and to provide more options in runoff and NPS estimation. An updated L-THIA interfaced with ArcGIS 10.0 and 10.1 has been developed in the study as an ArcGIS Desktop Tool. The model provides a user-friendly interface, easy access to the model parameters, and an automated watershed delineation process. The model allows use of precipitation data from multiple gauge locations for the watershed when a watershed is large enough to have more than one precipitation gauge station. The model estimated annual direct runoff well for our study area compared to separated direct runoff in the calibration and validation periods of ten and nine years. The ArcL-THIA, with a user-friendly interface and enhanced functions, is expected to be a decision support model requiring less effort for GIS processes or to be a useful educational hydrology model.

        GIS 소프트웨어를 사용한 주제도 범례 설정에 관한 연구

        GIS 소프트웨어의 도입으로 컴퓨터를 이용한 주제도 제작이 매우 용이하게 되면서 수많은 주제도들이 제작되고 있으나, GIS 소프트웨어를 이용하여 제작된 주제도가 지도학적인 제작 방법을 준수하면서 정보를 효율적으로 제공하고 있는지에 대해서는 면밀한 검토가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 GIS 소프트웨어인 ArcGIS를 사용하여 지도를 제작하는 과정에서 발생할 수 있는 문제점들을 사례를 통해 제시함으로써 GIS 소프트웨어를 이용한 주제도가 보다 주제도의 정보를 정확하게 전달할 수 있도록 하고자 하였다. 주제도 제작과정에서 제작자의 데이터와 제작지도에 대한 면밀한 검토가 필요함을 알 수 있었고, 추후 편집과정이 필요함을 사례를 통해 제시하였다. GIS 소프트웨어를 통해 제작된 주제도는 형식면에서 완성된 주제도가 되기 위해서는 여러 가지 부족한 점들이 있다. 따라서 주제도 제작과정에서 본 연구에서 제시한 주제도의 형태에 따라 고려할 요소들을 고려하여 주제도를 제작한 후, 적절한 편집과정을 거쳐 주제도의 완성도를 높일 필요가 있다. Although numerous thematic maps are generated using GIS software, it is not apparent that these thematic maps properly provide the exact information which can be induced in the maps. This paper aims to show the guide line of legends of thematic maps for providing exact information. According to the thematic map types, some problems of thematic maps generation using ArcGIS are examined. The significant things which map maker should know are understandings of data and suitability of generated maps. In formal aspects, thematic maps generated using GIS software need editing procedures for the completeness of the thematic maps.

        산사태 예측을 위한 NCAM-LAMP 강수 및 토양수분 DB 구축

        The present study introduces a procedure to prepare and manage a high-resolution rainfall and soil moisture (SM) database in the LAMP prediction system, especially for landslide researchers. The procedure also includes converting the data into spatial resolution suitable for their interest regions following proper map projection methods. The LAMP model precipitation and SM data are quantitatively and qualitatively evaluated to identify the model prediction characteristics using the ERA5 reanalysis precipitation and observed 10m depth SM data. A detailed process of converting LAMP Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) output data for 10m horizontal resolution is described in a step-wise manner, providing technical convenience for users to easily convert NetCDF data from the WRF model into TIF data in ArcGIS. The converted data can be viewed and downloaded via the LAMP website (http://df.ncam.kr/lamp/index.do) of the National Center for AgroMeteorology. The constructed database will contribute to monitoring and prediction of landslide risk prior to landslide response steps and should be data quality controlled by more observation data. 실제적인 산사태 대응조치 단계 이전에 산사태위험지수를 통하여 산사태 발생 위험도를 모니터링하고 예측하기 위하여, LAMP의 고해상도 강우와 토양수분 예측 자료를 DB화 하고, 산사태 연구자들의 연구대상 지역에 적합한 지도 투영법과 공간해상도로 변환하는 절차를 ArcGIS를 이용하여 마련하였다. 이를 위하여 ERA5 재분석 강수와 농촌진흥청 10m 깊이 토양수분자료를 이용하여 LAMP 모델 강수 및 토양수분 자료를 정량적 그리고 정성적으로 평가하여 모델의 특성을 파악하였다. 또한, LAMP 강우, 토양수분, 증발산 등의 결과 자료를 10m 초고해상도 ArcGIS 포맷 자료로 변환하는 과정을 실무적으로 상세히 기술하여, 국내 지역에서 WRF 모델의 NetCDF 자료를 ArcGIS로 이용자들이 손쉽게 변환할 수 있도록 기술적 편의를 제공하였다.

      • A Novel Integration Model for the Simulation of Kiln Landscape in Ancient Fu Liang Area

        Re-creation of the land use transformation at different periods in time is valuable for revealing how policy change influence ancient Fu Liang kiln. To date, there has been little focused on the model of historical Fu Liang kiln change. On the contrary, current research has emphasized that the transformation process of kiln has been described by literal presentation. However, Dynamical and visual model can provide insights into kiln change processes and are valuable for land use transformation. For this reason, we create virtual maps of ancient Fu Liang area and propose such constructs to unambiguously denote a novel integration model. In this model, ancient virtual maps are created by ARCGIS10.0 software and PCI9.0 software, land use changes are performed through cellular automata, decision processes are controlled beyond the multi- agent, spatial optimization is represented by particle swarm optimization. We use the simulation approach to recreate the kiln transformation of Fu Liang, Jiang Xi, annually from 1271 to 1554. The simulation of the model is of richer changing hierarchy and can better reflect the whole process from the first to the last firing, and can be used to preferable create dynamic model and theory. Additionally, the model can better reflect the interaction of the political situation, institutions and the natural environment.

      • 홍수터 관리를 위한 홍수직접피해 공간분석

        The main damages by several recent flood events in Korea are responsible for steep increase of direct flood damage, and the scale and coot of damages. Many studies are actively in progress to evaluate the possible economical damages and long-standing problem Assignment of graphical development has received considerable attention. The integration of topographical, hydrological, hydraulic and economic information in flood damage simulation makes it possible to determine the total impact of floods by means of stage damage curves and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). This methodology is applied to a Yeoju-gun. of Gyeonggi-Do located in South Han River Basin of South Korea. The study describes the procedure to identify, determine and represent direct flood damage caused by various-size of design floods using HEC-RAS and ArcGIS. Especially, ArcGIS is used for mapping and analyzing economic value of damages with 2D and 3D graphic capabilities. Overall, the results of this study indicate that GIS is useful and efficient for the automatic generation of flood maps, and an effective environment for estimating, mapping, and analyzing economic value of direct flood damage.

        Recently in Construction field, It has been the big issues to produce an Eco-friendly Construction material and to solve problems about the First grade–Aggregates’ supply&demand. While the Eco-friendly Construction materials which are refurbished and reproduced from construction wastes and industrial by-products have a great deal of effectiveness such as cost or CO2 emission reduction, there is an additional logistical cost due to go through with some processes for recycle such as Intermediary treatments or management and collection of materials. Furthermore, Demand of the First grade-Aggregates is rising and spreading all over the nation for the improvement of Road driving performance, But there is also an additional logistical cost for supply&demand due to the cost of transport growth by sites of construction. In this study, the process and methodology of the new material supply and demand route routings using the Arc Gis Program and the calculation of the available distance through economic analysis are presented. After examining the cost status of construction materials and logistics costs by examining the literature review and related industry, economic feasibility was obtained by comparing the price of general construction materials with the total cost of comparable materials and logistics costs. After an economic analysis, ArcGis3.0 was used to visualize the materials’ supply&demand route and As a result, We can observe the economically secured route from the construction materials’ production plant to where the domestic transportable route and nodes mapped. Throughout the study, the pre-groundwork for an efficient use of the construction materials is able to be prepared and It will be helpful to invigorate supply&demand. In addition to the economic analysis in the future, If the real-time traffic information (traffic volume, speed, environment, etc.) and the performance (structure, functionality, etc.) of each construction materials are reflected, It will be possible to build a decision system for selecting construction materials which meet consumers’ various needs.

        에너지자립을 위한 도시전력량과 태양광 발전량 비교분석

        Korea’s energy consumption is the 8th largest electricity consuming country in 2020, and it is necessary to diversify energy supply and demand. Presently, the demand for Renewable Energy is a steadily increasing due to eco-friendly policies, and the solar power system among Renewable Energy is increasing by more than 30% every year. However, due to the rapid increase in the supply of the solar power system and the differences of the mandatory supply amount and weighting between the government and the power generation licensee by the institutional change, we should prepare a realization plan. Also, environmental damage such as farmland damage, landslide, flood is consecutively occurring due to the indiscriminate installation of the solar power system. Therefore, due to the variability in the electric power supply of Renewable Energy, it is necessary to verify the efficiency and to conduct field empirical analysis research considering the geographical and environmental aspects of the domestic. So, in this study, we preferentially select the target city where the solar power system is actively installed and conduct the empirical analysis by comparing the power ratio between the city’s power consumption and the amount of power generated by the solar power system and maximize the efficiency of the solar power system through optimal location analysis by using ARCGis and will contribute to the stable use of electricity to the planned site of the solar power system.
