      • 일부 산업장 근로자의 구강보건교육프로그램 적용을 통한 구강보건행태 변화 조사

        Purpose. This study assessed the actual status of oral health behaviors, oral health consciousness and oral health belief with workers at work sites in some regions and would utilize the results of changes in the hygiene status in the oral cavity as basic materials for developing an education program for the oral health promotion of workers at work sites with the implementation of oral health education and oral health promotion program. Methods. The subjects of the study were 106 workers who expressed their intention to participate in a program in SMEs that agreed on the activities of an oral health education program through an education once per week, of the SMEs with less than 500 persons, located in G. City. General characteristics and the questionnaires of the items on the survey were investigated with a self-administered method, and the collected data were statistically analyzed, using SPSS 20.0. Results. As a result of research, it was noted that PHP-Index, the dental plaque index in the oral cavity became lower from 2.02 points to 1.00 point with continuous management and practice of oral promotion behaviors, and that the oral hygiene status improved. Conclusions. In order to promote the oral health of workers at work sites, substantially, it would be necessary to introduce an oral health promotion program they can practice themselves and through continuous education of oral health by assessing their consciousness and the actual status of their oral health behaviors, and it is expected that their oral health would be promoted ultimately by changing workers' oral health behaviors and consciousness.

        결혼이주여성의 구강보건교육 프로그램 적용 후 구강상태의 변화

        본 연구는 구강건강 증진을 위한 구강건강신념의 형성을 위해서 결혼이주여성들은 대상으로 구강보건교육 프로그램을 개발․실시하여 구강보건교육 실시 전과 실시 후가 구강건강 지식 및 태도에 어떤 효과가 있는지 진단해 보고 실제적으로 구강상태를 조사하여 구강건강증진 어떤 변화가 있는지 알아보고자한다. 다문화가족지원센터에서 2012년 3월 26일에서 2012년 6월 30일까지 연구대상자는 실험집단, 통제집단 각각 51명으로 구성되었고, 구강지식 과 인식을 사전-사후 조사했으며 인식에 변화가 있어 치과를 방문한 사람을 추후 조사하여 구강상태를 조사하여 대 응표본t검증, 반복측정 변량분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 구강보건 인식에서는 구강상식, 치주질환, 치아우식증, 잇솔 질 영역에서 향상 나타났고 구강보건지식에서는 치주질환, 치아우식증, 잇솔질, 불소, 구취영역에서 구강보건인식에 서 향상 나타났다. 우식경험영구지수(DMFT index)변화 즉 우식경험 미처치 치아수 (DT index)가 줄어들고 우식경 험 처치치아수 (FT index) 늘어났다. 이상의 결과와 같이 본 연구에서 개발한 국제결혼이주 여성을 위한 구강보건 교육 프로그램은 결혼이주여성들의 구강보건인식. 지식 등의 변화를 가져왔으며 지식의 변화는 행동의 영향을 주어 치주상태, 우식경험 영구치지수의 변화도 있었다. 이는 결혼이주여성의 구강보건을 위한 교육프로그램의 중요성을 보여주고 있으며, 추후 구강보건교육 프로그램 개 발을 위한 정보를 제공하여 다양한 측면에서 구강보건교육 프로그램이 개발되어 예방과 치료를 병행할 수 있게 되 어야할 것이다. This study aims at finding which change there is of oral health promotion as investigating the oral health status in quality, diagnosing which effects knowledge and attitude of oral health has before and after the oral health education as developing and conducting the oral health education program for international marriage migrant women to form their oral health belief for improving oral health. This study consisted of each 51 of the experimental group and the controlled group at the multi-cultural family support center from 26th of March, 2012 to 30th of June, 2012 as the subjects, and pre-to-post investigated knowledge of oral and cognition. Also as it took follow-up examination of the clients who visited to the dentist with changing of their cognition, conducted matched-pair sample t-test and analysis of repeated measure variance. As the result, there were always the changes at the field of knowledge about oral, periodontal disease and toothbrush in awareness of oral health, and at the field of periodontal disease, dental caries, toothbrush, fluorine and bad breath in knowledge of oral health. The change of DMFT index, DT index has been reduced and FT index has been increased. As the result above, the oral health education program for international marriage migrant women has led to change awareness of oral health and knowledge, and the change of knowledge has influenced to a behavior, so there were the changes of periodontal status and DMFT index as well. This has been showing the importance of the program for oral health of international marriage migrant women. Moreover, while the oral health education program is developed in various aspects by offering the information for developing the oral health education program in future, it needs to run parallel prevention with treatment.

        결혼이주여성의 구강보건교육 후의 구강보건지식과 관리 및 태도변화에 대한 연구

        Objectives : TThe purpose of this study was to provide the oral health education program for marriage imimigrant women. This study focused on the pre and post education effects including knowledge and attitude of oral health. Methods : Subjects were 51 marriage immigrant women who participated in the 4 phases of oral health program for two weeks from March 26 to June 30, 2012. Results : Oral health education program had a significant influence on the level of oral health perception. The oral health education program enhanced the knowledge level of marriage immigrant women. Oral Hygiene Index (OHI-S) also showed a significant difference and suggested that the oral health education program increased the level of knowledge related to oral care. Conclusions : It is necessary to investigate motivation factors and influential factors changing the oral health behaviors, knowledge and attitude related to oral health. Further study will be necessary to analyze the characteristics by countries, social class and age.

        서울시 관내 학교 보건교사 대상 구강보건교육의 효과

        Objectives. The purpose of this study was to assess the effectiveness of oral health education for school nurse in Seoul. Methods. This study is an 1-month follow-up intervention study which compares oral health knowledge and attitude between before and after oral health education. 318 school nurse participated in oral health education program and among them, 106 subjects completed the questionnaire. Paired t-test and multivariate linear regression were used to assess the effect of the explanatory factors on the improvement of oral health knowledge and attitude. Results. Oral health knowledge and attitude of school nurse were improved by oral health education. Multivariate analysis revealed that the contributing factors which lead improvement of oral health knowledge and attitude were the number of children and the degree of oral health attention. Conclusions. It was suggested that oral health education for school nurse had a significant beneficial effect on promoting oral health knowledge and attitude.

        일부 지역아동센터 구강건강증진 프로그램 운영 횟수에 따른 효과 비교 연구

        Objectives: The aim of study is the comparison of effect in oral health education frequency and contents for elementary school students from a part of community child center to run and suggest a practical and effective oral health promotion program for local community child center. Methods: The program has been running for 4 trials in G district in Seoul and 2 trials has been conducted in S city in Gyung gi province. The comparison was done in independent samples test of awareness, knowledge and behavior of children of community child center in both G district and S City and paired t-test was conducted before and after oral health promotion program to find out those same 3 items. Results: As a result, after the comparison of plaque control score of Oral health promotion program frequency, significantly better result was show in 4 trial program with 55.3 score(p<0.05), No significant result of plaque control score was shown in 2 trail program(p>0.05). Conclusions: As a result of the Oral Health Promotion program which has been conducted in 2 different session type, knowledge, awareness and behaviour has been changed, however, There were no significant difference between Oral health education frequency of those two different program. Also with the result of Plaque control score of those two programs were not satisfying level. Therefore, in conclusion, the management and operation of the Oral Health Promotion program is needed and it must be based on health promotion which it would change the behavior and attitude of the children.         학부모의 학교계속구강건강관리사업에 관한 의식조사 연구

        This study was pursued for the sake of gathering fundamental information to implement school-based comprehensive oral health care program and for planning oral health care program in consideration of parents. The following results were obtained by investigation of consciousness and favor level of 215 parents, who have elementary school children, regarding school-based comprehensive oral health care program. 1. It appears that many parents are not knowledgeable about school-based comprehensive oral health care program. There were significant differences between recognition level of school-based comprehensive oral health care program and age(PE0.05). 2. The parents acquired information about school-based comprehensive oral health care program: 58.7% by their children. 11.2% by mass-media. 10.0% by dentists and 3.7% by dental hygienists. 3. Most parents are in favor of school-based comprehensive oral health care program (96.7%). 4. Many parents(63.7%) prefer that social security law should budget for oral health care program. There were significant differences by sex(PE0.05) and age(PE0.01). As most parents are not so conscious of school-based comprehensive oral health care program, appropriate education program for dentists, dental hygienists and parents should be developed urgently.

        초등학생 구강보건교육을 위한 컴퓨터 기반 교육 프로그램 개발 및 효과 평가

        Objectives : The purpose of the study is to develop and to evaluate the oral health education program using computer assisted instruction(CAI) for the elementary school students. This study was carried out from November, 2012 to February, 2013. Methods : The subjects were 188 elementary school students of the first, second, and third grades in Buk-gu, Busan. The education was provided as computer assisted instruction and conventional classroom education. Three trained dental hygienists recorded three times of knowledge of oral health, oral health attitude, oral health behaviors and the plaque control index(O`Leary index). Results : CAI group showed high score of oral health knowledge of 6.74 points, 8.62 points and 8.38 points(p<0.01). In oral health attitude, the scores were 7.40 points, 8.01 points, and 7.99 points(p<0.05). In oral health behavior, the scores were 5.47 points, 6.14 points, and 5.61 points(p<0.05). The plaque control index was 22.59 points, 19.69 points, and 21.44 points(p<0.01). Conclusions : CAI education program of this study showed the effective education for the elementary school students. So the CAI education program can be useful and disseminated to the community project.

        초등학교 체험구강보건교육 개발에 관한 기초연구

        The purpose of this study was to develop more effective and successful oral health education program through active experience to convey the essential oral health knowledge to primary schoolers and change their oral health behavior. The subjects in this study were 368 students selected among second graders in a primary school in Seoul. A group of 116 students received a dental education through active experience in school dental clinic, toothbrushing using disclosing agent, good and harmful food for the teeth. The other group of 252 students didn't receive oral health education. The contents of questionnaire were the level of fear for dental treatment, the knowledge about the tissue where dental caries occur, possibility of preventing dental caries, the frequency of taking cariogenic food, and the awareness of caroigenic and noncariogenic food and response of these experience. The findings of this study were as follows; 1. There was a significant difference of knowledge about the tissue where dental caries occur between the students who received oral health education and the others who didn't (P<0.05), but no significant difference of the knowledge about the possibility of dental caries prevention between the two groups (P>0.05). 2. Sixty-nine percent of student took cariogenic food once or more a day, and there was no significant difference was detected between the two groups in taking carigenic food (P>0.05). There was no significant difference between the two groups in the awareness of cariogenic food for the teeth (P>0.05), but a significant difference between two groups in their knowledge of noncariogenic food (P<0.01). 3. Ninety-one percent of students responded positively to the practicing oral health education. 4. It is recommended that this oral health education through actual experience should be modified to be more successful and attractive program.

        간호자 구강간호 교육프로그램이 요양시설 노인의 구취와 영양소 섭취량에 미치는 효과

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of an oral health care education program for care providers on the nutritional status of the elderly in a long-term care facility. This study was conducted at a long-term care facility located in K metropolitan city using a nonequivalent control group non-synchronized design. Fifty-four nursing home residents aged 65 years or older were assigned either to the intervention group (n=27) or the control group (n=24). The intervention group received oral health care from the care providers` intervention group, who provided oral health care for 6 weeks after 6 weeks of oral health care education. Data were collected from the control group and intervention group at the baseline 6 and 12 weeks after oral care education and were analyzed using SPSS windows 16.0. The halitosis was lower in the intervention group than the control group at 12 weeks (P<0.01). Body mass index of the intervention group at 12 weeks was higher than that at 6 weeks. Iron intake of the intervention group at 12 weeks was lower than that at baseline. At baseline, the intakes of riboflavin, folate, and potassium were lower than 75% of dietary reference intakes. In conclusion, an oral care education program for care providers was effective in improving the oral hygiene of nursing home residents, and dietary plans are needed to improve the nutritional status of them.

        일부 지역아동센터 구강건강증진 프로그램 운영 효과 평가

        본 연구는 서울시에 소재한 5곳의 지역아동센터 아동을 대상으로 2011년 6월부터 2012년 1월까지 약 6개월 간 시행한 구강건강증진 프로그램의 운영효과를 확인하고자 27명의 아동의 구강건강지식, 인식 및 구강환경관리능력 을 평가하였다. 치면세균막 검사 결과 프로그램 시행 전 구강환경관리능력지수는 3.42에서 시행 후 2.43으로 유의하 게 낮아져 프로그램의 효과를 확인할 수 있었다(p<0.001). 이 논문은 치위생 분야에서 전문가와 지역아동센터교사가 협력하여 구강건강증진 프로그램을 운영한 사례로 향후 사회생태학적 모형을 적용한 구강건강증진 교육프로그램 개 발 및 연구에 대한 기초자료로써 토대가 될 수 있다. This study aims to examine the effect of the program by identifying changes in oral health behaviors, oral health knowledge, the Patient Hygiene Performance(PHP) index and others after performing oral health promotion program on children in community children’s centers to develop persistent and more effective program. The final analysis subjects were 27 children. According to the examination results of dental plaque score, the PHP index score was reduced from 3.42 to 2.43 before and six month after the tooth brushing education, respectively, indicating the effect of oral health promotion program(p<0.001). The data of this paper can be used oral health promotion programs development based on the social ecological model.
