        대사증후군 청소년들의 태권도 수련이 최대산소섭취량과 대사증후군 지표에 미치는 영향

        이 논문의 목적은 대사증후군 청소년을 대상으로 12주간의 태권도 수련을 실시하여 대사증후군 위험지표, 혈청 지질, 최대산소섭취량의 변화를 연구하는데 있다. 대상자는 대사증후군 청소년 30명을 태권도 수련군 15명, 대조군 15명 무선배치 하였다. 태권도 수련은 평균 운동강도 HRR 60~70%로1회 60분, 주 5회, 12주간 실시하였으며 다음과 같은 결과를 나타내었다. 태권도 수련군에서 제지방량, 허리와 엉덩이 둘레 비율, 그리고 최대산소섭취량이 그룹과 시기간의 상호작용에서 유의한 차이가 나타났으며 대사증후군 위험지표들에 있어서는 허리둘레, 중성지방, HDL 콜레스테롤과 수축기 혈압이 그룹과 시기간의 상호작용에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 또한 최대산소섭취능력에 따른 대사증후군 위험지표들의 수준을 비교해본 결과 최대산소섭취 능력이 낮은 그룹보다 높은 그룹에서 대사증후군 위험지표들의 수준이 HDL 콜레스테롤은 높게 나왔으며 나머지 인자들은 낮은 것으로 나타났으며 특히 허리둘레, 혈당, 중성지방과 HDL 콜레스테롤은 그룹 간에 유의한 차이를 나타내었다. 따라서 규칙적인 태권도 수련은 대사증후군 청소년들의 신체구성과 최대산소섭취능력의 향상과 대사증후군 위험지표 개선에 긍정적인 영향을 준 것으로 나타났으며 특히 높은 최대산소섭취능력은 대사증후군 위험지표와도 밀접한 관련이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그러므로 대사증후군 청소년들은 심폐체력을 향상시킬 수 있는 태권도 수련과 같은 규칙적인 운동을 반드시 실시하여야 하며 이는 대사증후군을 예방하고 개선하는데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이라 사료된다. The study aims to examine the changes in relative risk of the metabolic syndrome, plasma lipid levels, and maximal oxygen uptake by performing a 12 weeks taekwondo training targeting adolescents with the metabolic syndrome. The subjects were 30 adolescents with the metabolic syndrome, and they were randomly assigned with 15 taekwondo training group members and 15 person control group members. Taekwondo training performed five times a week for 60 minutes of each time, and the results of test with the average exercise intensity HRR 60~70% for 12 weeks. The results were as follows. In the taekwondo training group, there was a significant difference in lean body mass, the ratio of waist and hip, and the interactions between the group and time in terms of the maximal oxygen uptake. As to relative risks of the metabolic syndrome, waist circumference, triglycerides, HDL-cholesterol, and systolic pressure showed a significant difference in interactions between the group and time. In addition, as the result of comparing the level of relative risks of the metabolic syndrome according to maximal oxygen uptake, the level of relative risks of the metabolic syndrome was excellent in the group with higher maximal oxygen uptake, and especially there was a significant difference between groups in terms of waist circumference, glucose, triglycerides, and HDL-cholesterol. Therefore, the regular taekwondo training had a positive impact on improvement body composition and maximal oxygen uptake in adolescents with metabolic syndrome as well as reduction in relative risks of the metabolic syndrome. In particular, the excellent maximal oxygen uptake was closely related to the relative risks of the metabolic syndrome. Accordingly, adolescents with the metabolic syndrome should exercise like taekwondo to improve their cardiopulmonary fitness, and it will be helpful to prevent and improve the metabolic syndrome.

        트레드밀 걷기 운동시 심박수를 이용한 최대산소섭취량 추정

        The purpose of this study was to develop accurate and practical prediction models of maximal oxygen uptake using submaximal treadmill walking test. Total 551 subjects (male 278, female 273) who were aged 20~60yr adults participated in this study. Maximal oxygen uptake and steady state heart-rate in each end of stage were measured using the maximal-graded exercise treadmill test. Sex, age, and anthropometrics variables were measured as potential predictors. Correlation analysis was performed to investigate the proper heart-rate value for estimation. Regression analysis was performed to develop the maximum oxygen uptake prediction equation. The accuracy of prediction models was evaluated using Multiple correlation coefficient (R), standard error of estimate (SEE), and 10-fold cross validation on the data set. The correlation coefficient between steady state heart-rate during 6 min walking exercise and maximal oxygen uptake was r = .524(p<.01). R and SEE of the model were calculated as .784(>.01), 4.442, respectively. In conclusions, the prediction model in this study was acceptable accuracy and assessing time required. Therefore, developed equation in this study will be useful in clinical and sports industry. 본 연구의 목적은 한국 성인을 대상으로 트레드밀 걷기 운동시 심박수를 이용하여 최대산소섭취량 추정식을 개발하고 이의 정확도를 확인하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 20~60세까지 성인 남녀 551(남자 278, 여자 273) 명을 대상으로 신체 계측을 실시하고 Bruce 프로토콜을 사용하여 호기가스 분석을 포함한 최대운동부하검사를 수행하였으며 안정시와 단계별 심박수를 측정하였다. 최대산소섭취량 추정식에 포함시킬 설명변수를결정하기 위하여 심박수 변인과 최대산소섭취량 간의 상관분석을 실시하였으며, 인구학적 변인과 운동심박수를 이용하여 회귀분석으로 최대산소섭취량 추정식을 개발하였다. 각 분석은 R 통계 프로그램을 사용하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 트레드밀 6분 걷기 운동시(4km/h, 12%) 심박수와 최대산소섭취량이가장 높은 상관계수를 보였다(r= .524, p<.01). 둘째, 트레드밀 걷기 운동을 이용한 최대산소섭취량 추정식의 설명력은 61.4%, 추정식의 표준오차는 4.442로 나타났다. 결론적으로 개발된 트레드밀 걷기 운동시 심박수를 사용한 최대산소섭취량 추정식은 심폐지구력 현장 검사로서 요구되는 양호한 설명력과 오차, 그리고소요 시간 및 측정의 편이성을 확보한 것으로 생각되며, 추후 다양한 심폐지구력 현장 검사에서도 심박수의활용 방법이 고려가 필요할 것으로 판단된다.

        청소년 대상의 20 m 왕복오래달리기 검사를 통한 최대산소섭취량 추정식 개발

        PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to investigate the validity of the 20 m PACER and to develop accurate and practical prediction models of maximal oxygen consumption using 20 m PACER. METHODS: In total 407 (male 207, female 200) in middle and high school students participated in this study. Maximal oxygen uptake was measured using the maximal-graded exercise treadmill test. Sex, age, and anthropometrics variable were measured as potential predictors. Each test was conducted within a week interval, ensuring sufficient rest. Correlation analysis was performed to investigate the validity of 20 m PACER. Regression analysis was performed to develop the maximum oxygen uptake prediction equation using the 20 m PACER. The accuracy of prediction models was evaluated using R2, standard error of estimate (SEE), mean difference (MD), and limit of agreement (LoA%) against a criterion-measured of maximal oxygen uptake. RESULTS: 20 m PACER was respectively .675 (.001) in male students .585 (.001) in female students showed reasonable validity. The equation of the following was developed (R2=0.77; SEE=3.58): VO2max=53.550+0.169 (20 m PACER)-0.333 (%body fat)+2.276 (sex)-0.080 (height). Gender has a value of 0 for men and 1 for women. CONCLUSIONS: The prediction models included 4 variables as significant predictors of maximal oxygen uptake and had acceptable accuracy in a large sample of South Korean adolescent. Therefore, developed equation in this study is recommended for better estimation of cardiopulmonary fitness of middle and high school students.

        대학 유도선수들의 유,무산소체력의 관련성

        본 연구는 체급간 대학 유도선수들의 유ㆍ무산소 체력(SJFT, 1RM, 최대산소섭취량)의 차이를 비교, 분석하고 각 요인들간의 관련성을 밝히는데 목적이 있다. 피험자는 Y대학교 유도학과에 재학 중인 남자 유도 선수 중 5년 이상 운동경력이 있는 자들로 전국대회 3회 이상 입상경력이 있는 선수 19명을 대상으로 60kg~66kg급을 경량급(6명), 73kg~90kg급을 중량급(8명), 100kg 이상을 헤비급(5명)으로 크게 3그룹으로 분류하여 측정하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 17.0 program을 활용하여 기술통계, 일원변량분석, 상관분석을 사용하였으며, 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 체급별 유·무산소 체력차이에서 최대산소섭취량과 SJFT의 메치기 합은 경량급, 중량급, 헤비급 순으로 집단 간에 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났으며, 로우 1RM과 스쿼트 1RM은 헤비급, 중량급, 경량급 순으로 체급간에 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 신체둘레와 1RM의 관계는 벤치프레스는 가슴과 다리둘레를 제외한 요인에서 정적으로 유의한 상관이 나타났으며, 로우 1RM과 스쿼트 1RM은 가슴둘레를 제외한 요인에서 정적으로 유의한 상관을 나타냈다. 데드리프트는 엉덩이 둘레를 제외한 요인에서 정적으로 유의한 상관이 나타났다. 셋째, 비만도에 따른 유·무산소 체력의 관계에서 BMI는 최대산소섭취량과 부적으로 유의한 상관을 나타냈으며, SJFT, 벤치프레스 1RM, 로우 1RM, 스쿼트 1RM, 데드레프트 1RM에서 정적으로 유의한 상관을 나타냈다. 최대산소섭취량은 SJFT와 유의한 상관관계가 나타나지 않았으며, 로우1RM과 부적으로 유의한 상관을 나타냈다. SJFT는 스쿼트 1RM에서 정적상관을 나타냈다. 결론적으로 유도 경기의 특성에 따라 체급간에 유·무산소 체력요인은 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 신체둘레와 1RM, 비만도에 따른 유·무산소 체력은 서로 상관이 있다는 것을 밝혀냈다. 이를 바탕으로 각 체급의 선수들의 특성을 고려하여 유도훈련 시 체계적이고 과학적인 프로그램을 계획하고 실천한다면 선수들의 경기력 향상에 큰 영향을 미칠 것으로 판단된다. The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze difference in aerobic·anaerobic fitness of university Judo players between weight divisions, and to clarify relevancy among factors in each. Subjects were those who have exercise career in over 5 years among male Judo players of attending the Dept. of Judo at H university. It measured by classifying subjects largely into 3 groups by having 60kg~66kg class as lightweight(6), 73kg~90kg class as middleweight(8), 100kg~over 100kg class as heavyweight(5) targeting 19 players who have the awarding career in over 3 times at National Competition. Data analysis was used descriptive statistics, One Way ANOVA, and Pearson`s Correlation by utilizing SPSS 17.0 program. The results are as follows. First, in difference of aerobic·anaerobic fitness by weight division, the total of the maximal oxygen uptake and SJFT(special judo fitness test) throw was in order of lightweight, middleweight, and heavyweight. Row 1RM and squat 1RM were indicated the statistically significant difference by weight division in order of heavyweight, middleweight, and lightweight. Second, in relationship between body circumference and 1RM, the Bench Press was indicated the positively significant correlation in factors except chest and leg circumference. Row 1RM and squat 1RM showed the positively significant correlation in factors except chest circumference. Dead-Lift showed the positively significant correlation in factors except hip circumference. Third, in relationship of aerobic·anaerobic fitness according to obesity index, BMI showed negatively significant correlation with maximal oxygen uptake. The positively significant correlation was indicated in SJFT, bench press 1RM, row 1RM, squat 1RM, and dead-lift 1RM. Maximal oxygen uptake wasn`t shown significant correlation with SJFT, and showed negatively significant correlation with row 1RM. SJFT showed positive correlation with squat 1RM. In conclusion, the factors of aerobic·anaerobic fitness by weight division were indicated to have difference according to characteristic of Judo game. The aerobic·anaerobic fitness according to body circumference, 1RM, and obesity index was clarified to have mutual correlation. Given planning and practicing a systematic and scientific program of Judo training by considering characteristics of players in each weight division based on this, it is judged to be likely to have great influence upon enhancement in players` athletic performance.

        8주 유산소 운동이 연령대별 비만 여성의 안정 시 대사량에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of eight weeks of regular aerobic exercise on body composition and resting metabolic rate in obese women in their 20’s & 30’s and obese women in their 50’s & 60’s who have entered menopause. Method: In this study, the tested subjects were obese women residing in the city of S with a BMI of 25 or higher, or a body fat percentage of 32% or higher. They were separated into two age groups: women in their 20’s and 30’s (E1), and women in their 50’s and 60’s (E2). 16 subjects were selected with 8 subjects in exercise group 1 (E1) and 8 subjects in exercise group 2 (E2). The 8-week aerobic training consisted of moderate-intensity exercise at 55-65% THR. Exercise during weeks 1-4 were performed at 55-60% intensity, and weeks 5-8 were performed at 60-65% intensity. Descriptive statistics (Mean ± Standard Error) of all dependent variables were calculated using SPSS/PC+Ver. 21.0K program and the corresponding sample t-test were conducted to determine the differences in RMR, body composition, maximal oxygen uptake, and lipid profile before & after aerobic exercise. The statistical significance level was set as α=.05. Results: There were significant differences in weight and BMI before & after training in the E1 group and E2 group before & after training (p<.001). There were significant differences in body fat percentage and total fat before & after training (p<.01) in both E1 and E2 groups. There were significant differences in maximal oxygen uptake for the E1 group (p<.01) and the E2 group (p<.001) before & after training, but only the E2 group resulted in significant differences in resting metabolic rate (p<0.01). Examining changes in TC, significant differences were found before & after training in both the E1 group (p<.01) and the E2 group (p<.05). No significant differences in levels of TG, LDL-C, and HDL-C were observed in either group. Conclusion: Eight weeks of regular aerobic exercise result in positively improved treatment of obesity in both age groups. Both groups show decreases in body weight, BMI, body fat percentage, lean mass, and TC, as well as increases in resting metabolism rates and maximal oxygen uptake. It is observed that 8 weeks of aerobic training resulted in a variety of positive physiological changes in women with obesity.

        고강도 유산소운동에 따른 청소년의 최대산소섭취량 성장 관련 호르몬 세로토닌과 작업기억의 관련성

        The purpose of this study was to observe the relationship on maximal oxygen uptake, growth related hormone, serotonin and working memory by high-intensity aerobic exercise for 12weeks. The participants were male middle-school students who were divided into two groups; control group(n=8, non-exercise) and high-intensity aerobic exercise group(n=10) by treadmill 75 % VO₂max intensity did 12 weeks for 3 times a week. Also Measured was for performed in pre and post(after 12 weeks) same test by body composition, maximal oxygen uptake, blood sampling and working memory test. All data were analyzed descriptive statistics and one-way ANOVA for repeated measurement in case of significant within groups and interaction. Also after high-intensity aerobic exercise data influence analyzed with multiple regression analysis. Result was shown maximal oxygen uptake, GH, serotonin, working memory not significant within groups, however shown to difference significant in the period(p<.05), (p<.05), (p<.05), (p<.05). Especially interaction effect between groups and period was significant in maximal oxygen uptake, serotonin, working memory(p<.05), (p<.05), (p<.05). The correlation analysis from after high-intensity aerobic exercise between GH and testosterone were negative correlation(p<.01), between GH and maximal oxygen uptake were positive correlation(p<.01). And correlation analysis from after high-intensity aerobic exercise between working memory and serotonin(p<.05). Also predicted into positive influence from maximal oxygen uptake to GH, serotonin, working memory by after high-intensity aerobic exercise(p<.001), (p<.05), (p<.01). Thus, we known through this study result that positive influence for increasing maximal oxygen uptake on the GH, serotonin and working memory in adolescent male by 75%VO₂max of high-intensity aerobic exercise.

        여자 대학생의 최대산소섭취량과 스텝티스트간의 상관관계

        This study was to examine whether relationship between step test and maximal oxygen uptake in college females.Twelve healthy subjects in SM women's university were participated in this study. The subjects were assigned three groups according to their body mass index before experiment.All exercise testing was performed on a treadmill (modified Bruce protocol) in the laboratory. During the test, heart rate was monitored by an ECG and ratings of perceived exertion(RPE) were asked of subjects every 3 min to help identify progressive fatigue and subsequent exhaustion. The step tests(cadence: 30steps/min, duration: 5 min) of 20, 30 and 40 cm were conducted to measure the physical efficiency index and 800m running was examed using a standing start method. The data were analyzed by the SPSS programs of analysis of multiple correlation, and analysis of multiple linear regression. There were significant relations between maximal oxygen uptake and physical efficiency index(30 and 40cm step height). These results indicate that combined bench stepping of 30cm and 40cm heights can indirectly measure maximal oxygen uptake of college females.

        The Effect of Visual Feedback Bicycle Training on Maximal Oxygen Uptake, Quadriceps Muscle Strength, and Running Performance in Healthy Young Adults

        Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of visual feedback bicycle training on running performance, maximal oxygen uptake and quadriceps muscle strength. Design: A randomized controlled trial. Methods: Fifteen healthy adult men with no musculoskeletal or nervous system disease and capable of bicycle training were included. After the pretest, subjects were randomly assigned to visual feedback bicycle training group and general fixed bicycle training group. Both groups were trained two times a week for three weeks, each week for a fixed time and number of repetitions, followed by a six week washout period and then crossing the training method. visual feedback bicycle training provides visual feedback of heart rate in real time using a monitor and a heart rate meter during bicycle training, and general fixed bicycle training performed general bicycle training without visual feedback. After training, each item was measured using a wearable technology, gas analyzer, isokinetic equipment. Results: The results of this study was significant differences in running performance, maximal oxygen uptake and quadriceps muscle strength in visual feedback bicycle training group (p<0.05). The differential effect was found between visual feedback bicycle training group and general fixed bicycle training group in running performance, maximal oxygen uptake, and quadriceps muscle strength (p<0.05). Conclusions: This study suggested that that visual feedback bicycle training can be applied as a useful training method to improve running performance, maximal oxygen uptake and quadriceps muscle strength.

        발레 전공 여대생의 최대산소섭취량과 Branched Chain Amino Acids(BCAAs)들 간의 상관관계

        The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between Maximal oxygen uptake, and Branched Chain Amino Acids(BCAAs) in college female ballet dancers. Fourteen college female ballet dancers were participated in this study. Study subjects measured maximal oxygen uptake(VO₂max), and BCAAs(isoleucine, leucine, valine). The VO₂max were assessed during a continuous incremental running treadmill test. Use blood-gathering analysised about isoleucine, leucine, valine of Amino Acid. Analysis of multiple Correlation, Analysis of Simple liner Regression, and Dubin Watson Test were applied for the statistical analysis using SPSS 12.0. This results showed that VO₂max was significantly associated with BCAA(p<.05) in college female ballet dancer. It was found that cardiopulmonary endurance is in reverse propotion to BCAA in college female ballet dancer.
