        경주마(競走馬)의 혈액화학성상(血液化學性狀)에 관한 연구 II. 혈액화학치(血液化學値)

        This experiment was carried out to provide the data of blood chemistry in use of application to clinical diagnosis in racehorses. Blood was collected from 30 racehorses(♀ 17, ♂ 13). Calcium, inorganic phosphorus, blood glucose, blood urea nitrogen, cholesterol, bilirubin, fibrinogen and ketone body in serum were analyzed as follows. 1. The values of calcium and inorganic phosphorus were maintained a certain level without much variation regardless of sex and species, Ca/P ratio was in the range of 3.13~3.35. 2. The value of blood glucose was 60 mg/100ml, Age and sex of racehorses make no difference in the value. 3. The value of blood urea nitrogen and total cholesterol showed a tendency to increase according to the age. Total cholesterol value was somewhat higher in male than in female. 4. The value of total bilirubin showed a tendency to increase according to the age. There was no difference between sexes in the value. 5. The value of fibrinogen showed no apparent difference with age and sex. 6. Ketone body was negative in all of the cases. 7. There was no variation in the species of the racehorses.

        The blood components of nok - young(young antler) were examined in the Red Deer. Blood samples were collected from the antler and jugular vein, respectively. The hematological and serum chemical values were as follows; 1. RBC count of nok - hyul(young antler blood) was significantly higher than that of jugular vein blood(p < 0.05). However, fibrinogen concentration of nok - hyul was significantly lower than that of jugular vein blood(p < 0.01). WBC count, packed cell volume(PCV) and total protein(TP) were not significant between nok - hyul and jugular vein blood. 2. The concentration of phosphorous and magnesium of nok - hyul were signhcantly higher than those of jugular vein blood(p < 0.05). Albumin and glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase (GOT) of nok - hyul were hgher than those of jugular vein blood. But globulln and calcium concentration of nok - hyul were lower than those of jugular vein blood. Blood urea nitrogen(BUN) of nok - hyul was not significant when compared with that of jugular vein blood.

        Effect of DEHP Administration on Reproductive Characteristic and Blood Metabolite in Mice

        본 연구는 내분비 장애물질 중 관찰물질로 지정된 저 농도의 DEHP의 투여가 생쥐의 번식기능에 미치는 영향을 검토하였으며 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 웅성 생쥐에 DEHP를 체중 kg당 무처리구, 대조구(corn oil 투여구), 0.5, 1.0 및 10.0mg DEHP를 투여한 구에서 실험개시시와 실험종료시의 무게(정소상체, 정낭선 및 응고선)는 투여구 간에 커다란 차이가 없었으나, 정소의 무게는 DEHP 투여구가 대조구에 비해 다소 높은 경향을 나타 The purpose of this experiment was to determine the effects of di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate(DEHP) on reproductive characteristic, blood hematological and chemical values in mice. The male mice were intraperitoneally injected DEHP in negative control(no treatment), positive control(corn oil, 3ml/kg B.W), 0.5, 1.0 and 10.0mg DEHP/kg B.W and the female mice were injected DEHP in control(corn oil, 3ml/kg B.W), 0.5, 1.0 and 10.0mg DEHP/kg B.W with 5 times for 15 days on 3 days interval. The administration of DEHP in male mice were not affect on body weight, epididymis, vesicular gland and coagulating gland weight. The testis weight were slightly higher in DEHP treatment groups than in control. The semen characteristics(sperm concentration, viability, motility and abnormality) of male mice were not difference in all experimental groups. The RBC, Hb, HT, MCV, MCH, MCHC< PLT, albumin, BUN and total protein of blood hematological and chemical values were not affect the administration of DEHP in mice. The WBC values in 10.0mg DEHP group was slightly difference in all experimental group(P>0.05). The histological evaluation of testis, ovary and affevt the reproductive characteristic, blood hematological and chemical values.

        국내 사육 Elk(Cervus canadensis)의 혈액학치와 혈액화학치

        Present experiments were undertaken in order to determine the normal hematological and blood chemical values of elks raised in Korea. Blood samples were collected from 22 healthy adult (5~10 years old) male elks raised in Kyung-pook prefecture and examined for 9 hematological and 15 blood chemical parameters using automatic blood cell counter and automatic blood chemical analyzer. The mean hematological values were determined as PCV : 34.23%, RBC count : $6.70{\times}10^{6}/{\mu}l, Hb : 12.15g/61, WBC count : 3.17{\times}10^{3}/{\mu}l$, neutrophil : 54.09%, eosinophil : 12.27%, Iymphocyte : 28.86%, monocyte : 5.23%, and platelet : $39.94$\times$10^{5}/{\mu}l$</TEX.. The values for PCV, Hb and WBC count were lower compared to previous reports. The microscopic characteristics and size for blood cells were described. The nuclear membranes of neutrophils of elks were very rough microscopically. The total serum protein and albumin values were determined as 7.55 g/d1 and 4.09 g/d1 respectively. The mean blood chemical values were determined as AST : 54.41 IU/L, ALT ; 34.23 IU/L, ALP :427.73 IU/L, CPK : 167.00 IU/L, LDH : 555.53 IU/L, amylase : 62.91 IU/L, BUN : 25.55 mg/dl, creatinine : 2.26 mg/dl, total bilirubin : 0.36 mg/dl, 91ucose : 146.50 mg/dl, total cholesterol : 65.55 mg/dl, and calcium : 9.90 mg/dl. The CPK values were higher compared with domestic animals.

      • 야생너구리(Nyctereutes procyonoides)의 혈액 및 혈액화학치

        This study was performed to determine the blood and blood chemical values on captured 16 raccoon dogs (Nyctereutes procyonoides). Hematological examination revealed that RBC, Hb, PCV, MCV, MCH and MCHC values were 7.9±0.8x10^(6)/㎕, 14.0±2 g/dl, 44.1±5.5 %, 56.9±3.8 fl, 18.0±1.4 pg and 31.9±2.9 g/dl. respectively, and also revealed that WBC, neutrophil, lymphocyte. eosinophil and monocyte values were 13.6±2.4x10^(3)/㎕, 8.9±2.1x10^(3)/㎕, 2.7±0.8x10^(3)/㎕, 1.1±0.5x10^(3)/㎕ and 1.0±0.4x10^(3)/㎕, respectively. Blood chemical examination showed that total protein, albumin, globulin and A/G ratio values were 7.9±0.9 g/dl, 3.0±0.3 g/dl, 4.8±0.7 g/dl and 0.6±0.1, respectively, and also showed that ALT, AST, BUN. Creatinine and glucose values were 95.8±57.8 1U/ℓ, 64.4±30.1 1U/ℓ, 20.8±5.4 ㎎/dl, 0.7±0.1 ㎎/dl and 58.5±19.1 ㎎/dl, respectively.

        사슴의 혈액 및 혈액화학치에 관한 연구

        The study was conducted to determine normal blood and serum chemical values on deer. Normal blood and serum chemical values were studied in 8 healthy deers bred at Dalseung Park in Taegu. The values were analyzed with a blood chemical analyzer and calculated by Chawen's statistical analysis. The blood values of RBC, WBC and PCV were $9.73{\pm}1.19{\times} 10^{6}/{\mu}l, 3.37{\pm}0.88{\times}10^{3}/{\mu}l, 47.25{\pm}4.65 % respectively. The serum chemical value were: GOT; 83.0{\pm}39.4 IU/L, GPT; 50.12{\pm}25.83 IU/L, BUN; 36.63{\pm}8.70 mg/dl. CPK ; 1,296{\pm}495 IU/L, ALP; 238{\pm}54 IU/L, glucose; 143{\pm}52 mg/dl, total protein; 6.95{\pm}0.61 g/dl, amylase ; 116.0{\pm}34.5 IU/L,$ respectively. These values will be clinically helpful to diagnose the disease of deer.

        This study was conducted to examine the effects of recombinant Bovine Somatotropin (rBST), vitamin E(Vit. E) and selenium (Se) administration on the blood chemical values and hormone concentrations of serum in Hanwoo sires. Hanwoo sires were randomly assigned to five groups; 1) control, 2) rBST,0.09mg/kg body weight (BW), 3) Vit E, 1,500IU/kg BW, 4) Se 0.1mg/kg BW, 5) Vit E, 1,500IU plus Se 0.1mg/kg BW. rBST, Vit. E and Se for each experimental group were given 6 times at 15 days interval by intermuscular injection. Blood samples were collected ten times for experimental periods and separated the serum by centrifugation and stored into deep freezer. The concentration of albumin was the highest in Se group than those of any other groups (P<0.05) and Vit. E plus Se group was significantly higher than in the control and rBST groups (P<0.05). The concentrations of blood urea nitrogen (BUN) and creatinine were significantly higher in rBST group than any other groups (P<0.05). The concentration of total protein in rBST, Se and Vit. E plus Se groups were significantly higher than in control group (P<0.05). The concentrations of calcium, cholesterol,, glucose, inorganic phosphorus and triglycerides in serum were not difference in all experimental groups (P>0.05). The concentration of estradiol was slightly higher in Se and Vit. E plus Se groups than those of any other groups, but not significantly difference among the experimental groups (P<0.05). The concentration of testosterone was not affected by the administration of rBST, Vit. E and Se.

        본 실험은 한우 종빈우의 임신말기에 Se과 Vit. E 투여가 종빈우에서 태어난 송아지의 발육능력을 조사하고 혈액화학치 및 혈중 Vit. E 농도에 미치는 영향을 조사하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. Se과 Vit. E를 분만 1개월전에 투여 한 한우 종빈우에서 태어난 송아지의 혈액성분에 미치는 영향을 검토한 결과, 평균 혈중 albumin은 3.36, 3.51, 3.43, 3.45, 3.83 및 3.31g/d1로서 Vit. E 2000IU 투여구가 여타구보다 높은 성적을 나타냈다(P<0.05). 평균 혈중 cholesterol함량은 Vit. E 1500IU 투여구가 여타구보다 높은 함량을 나타냈으나, 혈중 BUN, creatiine, glucose, inorganic phosphorous, calcium, total protein 및 triglycerides 함량은 처리구간 유의적인 차이는 없었다(P>0.05). 2. Se과 Vit. E를 분만 2개월 전에 투여한 한우 종빈우에서 태어난 송아지의 혈액성분에 미치는 영향을 검토한 결과, 평균 혈중 albumin, cho-lesterol, BUN, creatiine, glucose, inorganic phos-phorous, calcium, total protein 및 triglycerides 함량은 처리구간 유의적인 차이는 없었다(P>0.05). 3. 분만 1개월 전에 Se과 Vit. E 투여한 한우 종빈우에서 태어난 송아지의 혈중 vitamin E 농도에 미치는 영향을 검토한 결과, 한우 종빈우에서 태어난 송아지의 생후 15일째 혈중 Vit. E 농도는 처리구간 커다란 차이가 없었으나, 생후 45일째 혈중 Vit. E 농도는 투여구가 대조구보다 높은 농도를 나타냈다. 모든 처리구에서 송아지의 생후 일령이 증가함에 따라 혈중 Vit. E 농도가 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 4. 분만 전 2개월 전에 Se과 Vit. E를 투여한 한우 종빈우에서 태어난 송아지의 생후 15일과 45일째 혈중 Vit. E의 농도는 처리구간 커다란 차이는 없었다(P>0.05). The objective of this study were to investigate the effects of Se and Vit. E administration on blood chemical values and Vit. E concentrations of serum in calves born from Hanwoo dams injected Se and Vit. E at late pregnancying periods. The effects of Se and Vit. E administration of blood chemical values in calves born from Hanwoo dams injected Se and Vit. E at the last month of pregnancying periods were examined. In albumin concentration of blood, the Vit. E 2000IU group were slightly higher than other groups and the cholesterol concentrations were also higher in Vit. E 15001u group than other groups. But, another components examined of blood chemical values were not significantly different in all experimental groups. The blood chemical values in calves born from Hanwoo dams administrated Se and Vit. E at two months before parturition were examined. However, there were not significantly different in all experimental groups in concentrations of albumin, cholesterol, BUN, creatinine, glucose, inorganic phosphorous, calcium, total protein and triglycerides. The concentrations of serum Vit. E in calves born from Hanwoo dams administrated Se and Vit. E at 30 and 15 days before parturition were examined. The concentrations of Vit. E in serum were higher in treatment groups than in control group(P>0.05). The concentrations of serum Vit. E in calves born from Hanwoo dams administrated Se and Vit. E at 60 days before parturition were examined, the concentrations of Vit. E in serum were slightly higher in groups administrated than in control group(P>0.05), but there were not significantly difference in all experimental groups.

        Serum chemisty values for Jindo dogs

        임상적으로 건강한 진도개 179두의 혈액화학치(血液化學値)와 혈청효소치(血淸酵素値)를 조사하였다. 179두에는 암수가 다 포함되어 있었고 연령은 3개월에서 10세까지 이었다. 혈청효소치(血淸酵素値)는 연령에 따른 변화를 나타내지 않았으나 측정된 화학치(化學値)의 대부분은 연령에 따라 변화하였다. 효소치(酵素値)중에 gamma glutamyltransferase 활성도는 진도개에서는 처음으로 측정된 것이었는데 다른 품종의 개의 정상치 범위내에 들어 있었다. 한편 혈청총단백양(血淸總蛋白量)과 알부민량(量)만 성(性)에 따른 변화를 나타냈다. Serum chemical values were determined in blood samples obtained from 179 normal, healthy Jindo dogs of both sexes that ranged in age from 3 months to 10 years. Female dogs had higher total protein and albumin values than their male counterparts. Age-related differences were detected for serum proteins, inorganic phosphate, glucose, and blood urea nitrogen levels. The GGT level Was within the normal range in dogs.
