문화콘텐츠산업의 해외 진출 확대는 다른 산업들의 수출에도 긍정적인 영향을 미치면서 통상에서도 문화서비스의 중요성이 증대하고 있다. 우리나라의 경우에도 문화콘텐츠산업의 수출에 따른 한류의 확산으로 한국 문화에 대한 관심과 선호도가 높아지면서 한국의 국가 이미지가 상승하고 한국산 제품에 대한 선호가 증가하여 수출에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 점에 착안하여 문화산업이 우리나라 수출에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하고 있다. 우리나라 문화산업 발전을 위한 정책적 노력은 하나의 산업의 발전을 도모한다는 단순한 관점에서 뿐만 아니라 수출 증대를 통한 국가 경제의 지속적 성장과 발전이라는 측면에서 검토되고 시행될 필요가 있다. 본 논문의 수출행태함수 추정 결과에서 보는 바와 같이 환율이 우리나라 수출에 미치는 영향이 크기 때문에 환율의 안정적 유지를 위한 거시경제 정책이 매우 중요하지만, 우리나라 수출의 지속적 확대를 위해서는 국가간 갈등을 유발할 수 있는 환율 정책보다는 문화산업을 글로벌 차원으로 발전시키는 정책이 더 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 한류가 글로벌 무대로 확산됨으로써 국가 수출 증대에 더 많은 기여를 할 수 있도록 우리나라 문화산업의 업그레이드가 요구되고 있는 것이다. Through the global diffusion of Korean Wave(Hallyu), the culture industry is contributing to Korea’s export and country’s economic development. From this perspective, this paper analyzes empirically the effect of culture industry on the Korea’s export. According to the export behavior function discussed in this paper, in addition to the culture industry, exchange rates obviously have significant impact on Korea’s export. Therefore macro-economic policy efforts to stabilize exchange rate is important to support Korean firms’ export activities. However, exchange stability policy measures such as government intervention to the foreign exchange market often cause unnecessary conflict among trading nations, whichmay bring adverse effect to the national economy as a whole. This situation leads to the conclusion that development of the culture industry is more efficient way to enhance Korea’s export capability than exchange rate related macro-economic policies. 우리나라의 물류산업의 발전과 성장은 우리나라의 수출 주종산업인 제조업에 대한 수출 지원 효율성을 높임으로써 국가 경제 운용에 커다란 기여를 하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 점에 착안하여 물류산업이 우리나라 수출에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하고 있다. 우리나라 물류산업 발전을 위한 정책적 노력은 하나의 산업의 발전을 도모한다는 단순한 관점에서 뿐만 아니라 수출 증대를 통한 국가 경제의 지속적 성장과 발전이라는 측면에서 검토되고 시행될 필요가 있다. 본 논문의 수출행태함수의 추정 결과에서 보는 바와 같이 환율의 변동이 우리나라 수출에 미치는 영향이 적지 않기 때문에 환율의 안정적 유지를 위한 거시경제 정책의 중요성은 아무리 강조해도 지나치지 않다고 할 수 있다. 그러나 우리나라 경제의 성장과 발전을 선도하고 있는 수출의 지속적 확대를 위해서는 국가간 갈등을 유발할 수 있는 환율 안정이라는 거시경제 정책보다는 우리나라 물류산업을 글로벌 수준으로 발전시키는 산업정책의 중요성이 더 크다고 할 수 있다. 우리나라 물류기업들이 글로벌 경쟁력 강화를 통해 글로벌 물류시장으로 진출함으로써 국가 수출 증대에 더 많은 기여를 할 수 있도록 우리나라 물류산업의 발전을 위한 효율적 정책의 수립 및 시행이 요구되고 있다. This situation leads to the conclusion that development of the logistics industry is more efficient way to enhance Korea`s export capability than exchange rate related macro-economic policies. We may conclude that, for the growth and development of the Korean economy, it is very important for Korea to have globally competitive logistics industry through appropriate industrial policy measures.
