        가상 커뮤니티와 현대도시의 장소성에 관한 연구

        This study examines the characteristics of "virtual community" from architectural perspective. Sociological studies have pointed out many differences between traditional and contemporary communities, and it demands the change of ideas about ‘place’ in architectural discourse. After investigating general ideas of communities and place, the study compares various architectural approaches by Chora, Tschumi, and Koolhaas which tried to solve the problems cased by changing social condition. Their works are analysed in comparison with ideas of some SNS services, such as Twitter and Facebook. From the investigation result especially about Koolhaas’ diagrams and Facebook interface, the study draws a conclusion as a model of the concepts of place in our SNS era. The model and the ideas in it could be used as a milestone or clue for architects and architectural theorists who try to seek for the ‘placeness’ of our changing world.

        SNS를 활용한 정보탐색 및 의제파급(Agenda-Rippling)에 관한 연구 - 페이스북(Facebook) 이용자들을 중심으로

        이 연구는 SNS(Social Network Service)를 활용한 정보탐색의 동기와 궁극적으로 추구하는 가치, 그리고 페이스북을 이용한 의제파급의 행위와 동기, 의제파급의 속성과 얻고자 하는 결과가 무엇인지 알아보고자 포커스 그룹 인터뷰를 중심으로 살펴보았다. 이 연구는 SNS의 확산과 함께 두드러지게 이용 증가세를 보이고 있는 페이스북 (Facebook) 이용자들을 대상으로 정보탐색과 의제파급 행태를 규명한다는데 의미가 있다. 연구결과, 페이스북 이용자들의 의제파급 행위는 ‘공유’와 ‘댓글’을 통해 이루어지 고 있으며, 의제파급을 하는 동기는 ‘사회적 상호작용’, ‘동참하기’, ‘친구와의 교류’, ‘시 사성·시의성 있는 정보 공유’, ‘다른 SNS와 연계한 의제파급 행위’가 높게 작용했다. 페이스북을 통한 의제파급 행위에서 얻고자 하는 결과를 확인한 결과, ‘커뮤니티 추구’, ‘홍보 추구’, ‘자기 과시 추구’, ‘자기표현의 만족감 추구’, ‘집단지성, 공론장 추구’ 등이 높게 나타났다. 또한 페이스북을 통한 의제파급과 더불어 유튜브, 트위터, 카카오, 위챗 등 다른 SNS를 연계해 의제파급에 참가하여 자신이 추구하고자 하는 목적을 달성하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 페이스북과 다른 SNS를 연계 활용한 의제파급 참여는 자 기표현의 만족감과 향상감을 더욱 증대시키는 결과를 낳는 것으로 확인되었다. 이는 여 러 종류의 SNS를 동시에 활용한 의제파급 행위의 참여가 갈수록 증가하는 동시에 그 영향력이 크다는 것을 시사해 주는 결과라고 하겠다. The main purpose of Information Search and Agenda Rippling through the Facebook. Recently, we witness the importance of the Internet in the process of social agenda diffusion and its impact on people's information search for their lives and news gathering. For this purpose, the researcher reviewed what psychological attitude the Facebook Users would have toward reward for information search and agenda rippling. This study will be meaningful in identifying users' information exploration and agenda rippling behavior amid a significant increase in the use of news and information using Facebook, along with the marked spread of social media SNS. The study found that Facebook users' motivation for information search was remarkably high: motivation for personal identity expression, social interaction and leisure. In addition, the value Facebook users ultimately seek through information exploration is highly attributable to community pursuit, social role pursuit, and business promotion. Facebook users' agenda-rippling activities are mainly done through 'sharing' and 'comments', and the motivation for the agenda-rippling has been high in the elements of 'social interaction', ‘participation', and 'exchange with friends'. The results they want to get through Facebook were high in the order of 'community pursuit', 'promotion pursuit' and 'self-expression pursuit'. In addition to the agenda-rippling through Facebook, it was also found that people are participating in the agenda-rippling by linking other SNS such as YouTube, Twitter, Kakao, and WeChat to achieve his goal. In particular, it was confirmed that participation in the agenda-rippling using Facebook and other social networking sites results in greater satisfaction and improvement in self-expression. This suggests that participation in agenda-rippling activities using various types of SNS at the same time is more influential.

        지역사회 공동체 활성화를 위한 커뮤니티 공간의 특성과 실태 분석

        The aim of this study is to analyze the characteristics of Village Book Cafe which is operated as the communication space for local community and the opinion of its users. As to the research methods, we first conducted the site survey for the analysis of space and planning of Book Cafe. Secondly, we interviewed its administrators to examine the operation methods. Thirdly, we conducted a survey asking the opinions of users about the space and program of Book Cafe as well as the interaction among the residents. Regarding the analysis of the survey data, we used the SPSS statistical program. As a result, we examined the success and failure factors on various aspects. Among them were the location of the Book Cafe, its spatial characteristics(e.g. size and space type), the degree of activation, operating personnel and the possibility of being able to handle operating cost. In terms of the locational aspects, one of the success factors of Book Cafe is being conspicuous, easily accessible, and convenient to use nearby facilities. In terms of the spatial aspects, the Book Cafe that is large-scale and has separate community rooms showed a positive result in resident's usage. Most of the Book Cafes surveyed were found to have difficulty in their operating cost. It is necessary to periodically provide them with the professional consulting services in regards to the operation method for independence, cooperating programs, and public relations methods.

        페이스북 브랜드 페이지의 고객 참여행동 제약요인에 관한 탐색적 연구

        Drawing upon the leisure constraints theory (LCT), this study explores the possible participation constraints that hinder active customer engagement with social media brand pages. A series of focus group interviews were conducted with a total of 26 respondents, and their audio-recorded and transcribed responses were analyzed using the thematic analysis method. The results revealed that customers selectively engaged in brand pages of locally owned restaurants and/or local franchisee restaurants and took different actions based on the purpose of usage. The eight primary participation constraints found lay in the three categories proposed by LCT; namely, intrapersonal(lack of internal motivation), interpersonal(concerns about message revelation, concerns about others’ reaction on participation, absence of others to share posts) and structural constraints(tiredness of profuse commercial brand messages, resistance to unwanted search-related ads, concerns about privacy and security, inadequate platform). 본 연구는 여가제약이론에 근거하여 고객의 소셜 미디어 레스토랑 브랜드 페이지의 참여행동에 영향을 주는 제약요인을 도출하고자 하였다. 총 26명을 대상으로 표적집단면접법을 실시하였으며, 이를 통해 얻어진 자료를 주제별 분석법을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 고객은 소규모의 지역 레스토랑 브랜드나 대형 브랜드의 지역기반 브랜드 페이지에 선택적으로 참여하고 있으며, 이용 시에도 특정 목적에 맞는 참여행동을 취하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 참여행동을 제약하는 요인으로 개인 간 제약요인(내재적 동기의 부족), 대인 간 제약요인(메시지 공개에 따른 우려, 자신의 참여행동에 대한 타인의 반응에 대한 우려, 게시물 공유자 부재), 구조적 제약요인(개인 타임라인에 과잉 노출되는 상업 브랜드 메시지에 대한 피곤함, 원하지 않는 검색 관련 광고의 자동 노출에 대한 거부감, 개인 정보 보호 및 보안에 관한 우려, 부적합한 플랫폼) 등 총 세 개의 요인을 도출하였다.

        With the establishment of a large bookstore in Seoul in the late 1980s, and in the late 1990s, online bookstores appeared rapidly growing due to low prices and delivery surpassing offline bookstores. However, local bookstores are important places that serve as community spaces that share culture. But That disappear steadily. So this study sought through domestic and foreign case studies to solve the problem. The results of the study are as follows. The characteristic of the domestic bookstore case in terms of space two or more floors, space separation is certain for each floor, and the height of the bookshelf is lowered at eye level. And there is a space where you can read books wherever you can reach. The characteristic of overseas cases is that it induces free movement of space visitors, and the reading space are separated. The two cases are easy to communicate and experience directly. If the book community space that promotes the revitalization of our neighborhood acts and various cultural contents in the region and It becomes cultural space in the area, not only local residents but also those who want to feel the nostalgia of paper books will visit to gradually restore the community.

        생애사 스토리텔링을 활용한 지역문화공동체의 활성화 방안

        I intended to discuss the need for community storytelling. The objective of community storytelling is to build up and strengthen local culture community. This community storytelling can help local residents discover their common concern and value and solve the problems which the local community is facing. To perform and enjoy of community storytelling, storyteller needs lots of story resource. Life history could be a good story resource for community storytelling. That is more adequate to community storytelling than tale that has been passed on orally or information of the local history. The project of Story Books by Seongnam Culture Foundation was planned to collect and organize life history which was dictated by local residents. Five volumes of Story Book are published through the project. Those can help local residents write down and restore their passing life. However Publishing Story Book is not sufficient to spread enjoying community storytelling. Story community is needed to help local people perform of storytelling in everyday life. There could be two different forms of story communities. One is face to face community, and the other is on-line community. People in story community discover story resource, make seed stories, and share and spread it. By doing so, local culture community could be built up and strengthened. Moreover it can bring side effect of literature expansion.
