본고는 문화적 편린의 스펙트럼을 종합해서 맥국 실체를 구체화, 가시화하는데 주안점을 두고자 했다. 기록과 기존 연구와 현지답사를 통해 얻은 결과는 다음과 같다. 우선 맥국(貊國)과 관련된 역사적 사료는 얼마 되지 않지만 『삼국사기』, 『고금군국지』, 『삼국유사』, 『고려사』 등과 기존 연구 결과를 통해 춘천에는 ‘맥국’과 ‘맥족’이 있었다고 확신할 수 있었다. 무엇보다도 문화적 측면에서 볼 때, 봉의산, 마적산(마작산), 맥산, 삼악산, 발산, 우두산, 샘밭, 용화산, 어둔리, 갑천, 병지방리, 태기산, 청일, 둔내, 신대리, 도주골, 투구봉, 옥산대, 백옥포 등과 관련된 설화와 지명이 모두 맥국과 관련이 있었다. 특히 조선의 ‘선(鮮)’과 관련이 있는 신북면 설화 ‘우양마을이야기’는 뱀을 섬기는 풍(風)족인 맥국과 고조선의 관계를 나타내며, 이는 고구려 벽화에 등장하는 여와와 복희의 몸이 뱀(=용)이라는 점에서 고대사를 밝히는데 키 역할을 할 수 있을 것이라고도 추정할 수 있었다. 선조들이 남긴 문학작품 속에도 맥국과 춘천과의 관계를 나타내주는 작품이 등장하는데 김시습이 지은 <도중(途中)>이나 신위가 춘천 부사로 있으면서 지은 『맥록』, 조선 후기 강현규의 <유금강산록>에도 맥국에 대한 자신들의 생각이니 인지, 감상 등이 잘 드러나고 있었다. 특히 신위는‘수춘(춘천)은 옛날의 맥국이다.’ 는 사실과 함께 공자가 살고 싶어했음도 서문에다가 밝히고 있었다. 그 외에도 춘천 지역 농악은 다른 지역과 다르게 군사나 전술, 진법 등과<군사훈련→전투→승리→축제>라는 스토리 구조를 보인다는 점에서도 맥국과의 관련성을 추정할 수 있었으며, 강원도 전역에서 단오 그네를 뛸 때, ‘춘천이요!, 우두그네요!’라고 소리를 지른다는 점에서도 고대 춘천과 우두에는 강원도에 사는 모든 거주민이 선망하는 ‘무언가’, 즉 맥국이 있었다고 추정할 수 있었다. 또한 춘천에서 오랫동안 전승되어온 외바퀴수레놀이(차전놀이)도 고대의 수레놀이는 전투훈련이 목적이었다는 점을 상기할 때 맥국 문화 편린의 테두리 안에 넣을 수 있었다. 그 외에도 맥적이나 맥궁 등의 용어나 춘천 지역 교가 등, 이 모든 문화 편린을 통해서 춘천에는 고대 맥국과 맥족이 있었음은 기정 사실이라는 결론으로 수렴할 수 있었다. In this paper, I tried to focus on realizing and visualizing the reality of Mackook by synthesizing the spectrum of the cultural section. The results obtained through records, existing studies and field trips are as follows. First of all, there are only a few historical historical historical historical sources related to the country, but existing research results such as 『Samguk Sagi』, 『Gogum Gungukji』, 『Samguk Yusa』, and 『Goryeosa』 showed that Chuncheon had "Macguk" and "Maekook race". Above all, from a cultural perspective, folktales and geomancy related to Bongui Mountain, Majeoksan Mountain(Majaksan Mountain), Maxan Mountain, Samaksan Mountain, Balsan Mountain, Udu Mountain, Sambat, Yonghwasan Mountain, Eudun-ri, Gapcheon, Byeongji-ri, Taegi Mountain, Cheongil, Dunae, Sindae-ri, Dojigol, Dojigol, Dojibongol, Dogubongol, Oksan Mountain, Oksan Mountain, and Baekokpo were all related to Mac. In particular, the Sinbuk-myeon folk tale "Story of Uyang Village," which is related to Joseon"s "Pung race" represents the relationship between Macguk and Gojoseon, who serve snakes, which can play a key role in revealing ancient history in that the bodies of Yeowa and Bokhee in Goguryeo murals are snakes(=Dragon). In the literature left by his ancestors, there are works that show the relationship between Macguk and Chuncheon. Kim Si-seop"s <In the way>, Sinwi"s McRock, and Kang Hyun-kyu"s <Yugumgangsanrok> in the late Joseon Dynasty showed their thoughts on Mackook. In particular, Sinwi stated in the preface that Confucius wanted to live with the fact that "Suchun(Chuncheon) is an old beer soup." In addition, Nongak in Chuncheon showed a story structure called "Military Training → Battle → Victory → Festival" unlike other regions, and when playing Dano swing all over Gangwon-do, there was a MacGuk that all residents in Chuncheon and Udu in ancient Gangwon-do shouted, "Chuncheon!", “Udugienaeyo!”. In addition, the long-standing one-wheel cart game(chacha play) in Chuncheon could be put within the confines of the McGuk culture when it was recalled that ancient cartwheels were intended for combat training. In addition, through all these cultural expedients, such as terms such as Macjeok and Macgung, and the Chuncheon regional school songs, Chuncheon was able to converge to the conclusion that it was a given that there were ancient Macgos and Macs. Historians and archaeologists only assume that "Balsan" is currently a capital city of Macguk, but cultural expediency could have raised the possibility that it might be "Udu". What is clear is that it is foolish and foolish to eliminate history and culture thousands of years ago with shallow knowledge just because there is no concrete evidence. Such a serious matter will have to be promised a future generation.
