The research of Green roof system began from 1995 completely, and it has been developed since the beginning of 2000 The contents of research contained the thermal conductivity, the runoff-reduction or the treated rainwater- quality of green roof system and so on But the application was limited in the existing buildings In 2003, for the first time, the green roof system was actually applicable difficulty in a new apartment from the initial design stage of a building In the future, the green roof system would occupy a fixed position on the new building For the reason of this, the prototype for green roof is necessary, which is suitable on the korean spot as well as on the korean climate So the purpose of tins study is to find out a method which improve the prototype of the korean green roof system Especially it is important to find a prototype of a improved IRMA, well known as Insulated Roof Membrane Assembly, with a few elements Thanks to the simple construction, the reduction of working-terms and the economical benefits, the IRMA could take a place slowly in the spot Two methods were used in order to achieve the purpose of research, Analysis of the existing research result and Performance analysis which a system requires And the GRS prototype of Korea was shown through the research result and comparison concerning IRMA of Germany
건축물 景觀向上 및 綠地空間 확보를 위한 立體綠化 디자인技法에 관한 연구

Shortage of green space areas in urban cities has bad influences on urban environment and eco-system without a doubt and it is almost impossible to secure or expand green space areas due to the population concentration in urban communities accompanied by shortage of residential space. One of the most feasible solution to this matter without having to secure extensive site is called 'Three-Dimensional Planting' where the roofs, rooftops and walls of a structure is utilized to create environmentally friendly atmosphere. It is very obvious that afforestation activities does not provide the same effects of nature or parks. However, if the site is used vertically and the total number of plantation increases in the limited plantation space, it may create a similar environment as having a large green space area. The horizontal and vertical surfaces of a building is a visually predominant factor which space is slowly increasing due to the trend of high-rise buildings. Utilizing these spaces are not only an alternative plan from having to secure urban green space but also improves the structural appearance of a building. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to analyze the site plan, form, spatial structure, natural energy, and vegetation conditions of a structure in order to propose appropriate design techniques for 'Three-Dimensional Planting' in accordance with the area where the building is located.

지붕 색상 변화에 따른 건축물의 열환경 및 쿨루프 적용가능성 분석

In this study, we compared the temperature in models with four different roof types: model A(green roof), B(white colored roof) , C(green colored roof), and D(black colored roof) using the simulation. During both summer and winter, the roof surface outside temperature was found to be the lowest on the model B in the daytime and the nighttime, whereas the model A had the highest temperature in the nighttime. The zone mean air temperature was the lowest on the model A and highest on model D in the summer daytime. During winter, the model B was found to have the lowest temperature. The model A and D had the highest temperature in the nighttime and daytime, respectively. This indicates that the use of model B as cool roofs in Korea could reduce building temperatures in the summer.
