        韓国人中級日本語学習者の学習プロセスと課題 ― 学習者へのインタビューを通して ―

        本多美保 ( Honda¸ Miho ) 한국일어교육학회 2023 일본어교육연구 Vol.- No.64

The purpose of this research is to clarify the issues that occur in the learning process of Korean learning intermediate Japanese (hereinafter referred to as intermediate learners) through interviews with intermediate learners, and to explore implications for establishing new subjects. The learners have been exposed to Japanese culture through the media since childhood, but at this stage they were not aware that the culture was Japanese. Active contact began in middle school and high school, and after entering university, the learners' autonomous learning process was observed. In the process, learners tended to prioritize conversation classes and postpone classes that use skills such as 'writing' and 'reading'. The main cause of this was the perception of difficulty of kanji, and it was also confirmed that they had a desire to overcome this perception. The learners' perception of the difficulty of kanji began not from the beginning of Japanese language learning, but from the beginning of kanji learning in elementary or middle school, and they have continued to have a perception of difficulty of kanji in the Japanese language learning process. Therefore, they were not using cognitive strategies, compensatory strategies, and metacognitive strategies that were actively used to improve ‘speaking’ and ‘listening’ skills in kanji learning. In conclusion, the challenge for intermediate learners is to overcome learning kanji, and they have requested the establishment of new kanji subjects. However, since learners have anxiety that they may not be able to adapt to kanji classes, it is necessary to approach carefully the establishment of new subjects.

        韓国人中級日本語学習者のEメールに 見られる断りのストラテジー - 日本語母語話者との比較を通して-

曺英南 한국일본어문학회 2020 日本語文學 Vol.87 No.-

The purpose of this study is to clarify the specific characteristics of several refusal expressions appear on E-mails by comparing these written by Korean students in intermediate level Japanese language and which of Japanese native speakers. Notable statistical difference surfaced on “Refusal utterance” and “Reason of refusal” amongst the groups of different acquisition level. Korean students are more reluctant to use “Refusal utterance” in an explicit way when compared to native Japanese speakers, however they have a tendency to repeat “Reason of refusal” in details within a same E-mail which Japanese native speakers almost never do. Also, native Japanese speakers express their feelings of apology (a part of “Attentive utterance”) more often than Korean students, while Korean students are eager to express their favorable feelings and suggest alternatives (a part of “Compassion utterance”) to the teacher whose request they have to refuse.
