        식민지시기 유머소설의 등장과 그 특징

        Humor novels appears in 1930s` when ``ero(erotic)``, ``gro(grotesque)``, ``nonsense(laugh)`` were all the mode instead of sentimental mood of 1920s`. It settled down as a representative of genre of laugh in competitions of ``the nonsense`` that is a genre recorded for SP records, manmoon(漫文) that is a sort of essay and mandam(漫談) that is both a comic talk in theater and a cautionary prose. Monthly general magazines projected humor novels for attracting the public, so they ordered all around cultural celebrities like novelists, cartoonists and broadcasters to make a humor novels. Humor novels focused on love and marriage life of new generation. Especially it embodied positively the new women. But it is only within a range of wise wife and good mother ideology. Husband in new generation also accommodated himself to the ideology of the period that said ``see a bright-side and laugh, then you would get a happiness``, in spite of that they superficially seemed to want the jouissance against oppression of reality. But some humor novels revealed a despair not sutured. So humor novels in colonial era expressed a laugh of escapism but also a laugh of resist against hopeless present.

        1930년대 일본체험 회고담 연구1, 로맨스의 공통기억과 식민지의 문화적 위치

        This paper aims at investigate reminiscences of early modern intellectuals from international students studied in Japan. The main target is romantic reminiscences with the Japanese women. In this reminiscences, 1930`s writers recollect meeting experience with Western blood teacher and lustful temptation of japan women in the past. Western blood teacher are objective correlative of `western = modern = Value = Japan`. Lustful temptation of japan women function the attractive and easy features as an object of desire. These feminine configuration get rid of politics repressed and colonial inferiority complex for colonial intellectuals. Through a variety ways of consumption of sensual flamboyant image, narrative storytelling, imitation or reproduction of Hollywood movies, they has created popular fantasy and common memory. Through this process the meaning of `Western = modern = Value = Japan` in colonial modern Korea has changed model of cultural enlightenment to personal desire. In the background of this transition, The growth of popular magazine, the strengthening of political repression, an excess of bourgeois urban culture of 1930`s colonial modern society was involved.
