檢査機能의 强化를 통한 大學生活指導體制 改善을 爲한 硏究

The purpose of this study was to improve the effectiveness of university guidance system through reinforcing the use of tests. The study has been carried out through the following processes since March, 1981. 1) To establish a model of data analyzsis for understanding students, 2) To identify the actual conditions of students by analyzing the result of tests, 3) To review theoretical backgrounds of guidance for self-understanding and to develop a model of self-understanding(See; Appendix Ⅰ, Student guidance program for self-understanding, and Appendix Ⅲ, Student test profile), 4) To give group guidance services to students for two hours at the level of the guidance program 2, and to give individual counseling services to volunteered students at the level of the guidance program 6, 5) To evaluate the results of group guidance services at the level of the guidance program 2 by analyzing the student's opinion(See; Appendix Ⅳ) and evaluate the results of individual and group guidance services at the level of the guidance program 1 to 6 by applying the evaluation model of school guidance system. The findings are summarized as follows: 1) The result of the group guidance services to help students to understand themselves was found to be effective. According to the results, the test interpretation at the level of the guidance program 2 could be generalized for the college and university guidance programs. 2) Continuous attention should be given to verify the test construction, to improve the methods for evaluation the results of individual and group guidance services at the level of guidance program 1 to 6, and to develop self-understanding programs based on all of the available tests. 3) It is necessary to relate the self-understanding programs to the personality traits of self-realized persons when interpreting the tests.
大學修學能力試驗의 測定內容과 行動設定을 위한 要因分析 : 數理-探究 下位檢査를 중심으로 Focused on Math and Inquiry Subtest

The SAT(College Scholastic Aptitude Test) is to test the basic academic skills necessary for university education, which are assumed to be general across all subject matters. The purpose of this study was to construct measurmental content and behavior for the Math and Inquiry Subtest of Korean SAT. Through analysis of Scholastic Aptitude Test of America, the American College Testing Program, and Korean High School Curriculum, Forty one measuremental items composed of combination of content and behabior were illustrated. Those items were rated through five step rating scales by both students and professor randomly sampled. Collected data were analyized by using factor analysis. Math and Inquiry Subtest is mainly composed of five factors. These include the social phenomenon analysis-synthetic ability, the natural phenomenon scientific inquire ability, the math comprehensive ability, the social scientific comprehensive ability, and the social phenomenon comprehensive ability. This study arbitrarily adopted measuremental items as basic data for factor analysis. For the more systematic construct of measurement items, somewhat different study of this kind under various sample with other approach will be needed.
