Experimental and numerical study on static behavior of grouped large-headed studs embedded in UHPC

        Yuqing Hu,Guotang Zhao,Zhiqi He,Jianan Qi,Jingquan Wang 국제구조공학회 2020 Steel and Composite Structures, An International J Vol.36 No.1

The static behavior of grouped large-headed studs (d = 30 mm) embedded in ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC) was investigated by conducting push-out tests and numerical analysis. In the push-out test, no splitting cracks were found in the UHPC slab, and the shank failure control the shear capacity, indicating the large-headed stud matches well with the mechanical properties of UHPC. Besides, it is found that the shear resistance of the stud embedded in UHPC is 11.4% higher than that embedded in normal strength concrete, indicating that the shear resistance was improved. Regarding the numerical analysis, the parametric study was conducted to investigate the influence of the concrete strength, aspect ratio of stud, stud diameter, and the spacing of stud in the direction of shear force on the shear performance of the large-headed stud. It is found that the stud diameter and stud spacing have an obvious influence on the shear resistance. Based on the test and numerical analysis results, a formula was established to predict the load-slip relationship. The comparison indicates that the predicted results agree well with the test results. To accurately predict the shear resistance of the stud embedded in UHPC, a design equation for shear strength is proposed. The ratio of the calculation results to the test results is 0.99.

      • Study of Traveling Partners’ Discovery Algorithm Based Closed Clustering and Intersecting

        Kongfa Hu,Jiadong Xie,Chengjun Hu,Tao Yang,Yuqing Mao,Yun Hu,Long Li 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Hybrid Information Techno Vol.9 No.6

As the rapid development of IOT (the Internet of Things), RFID technology has been widely applied, and it generates a large of RFID trajectory stream data with the spatial-temporal characteristic. Because RFID has many characteristics, it leads to become very difficult that extracting moving objects groups that together moving (ie. traveling partners) in a period of time from RFID trajectory stream data. Existing methods are difficult to efficiently find this model. This paper presents a closed clustering and intersecting algorithm (CCI) for RFID data to detect movement along traveling partners, which is mainly constituted by two steps: first step is clustering sub-trajectory, it generates sub-trajectory clusters; second step is intersecting sub-trajectories with the traveling partners’ candidate set to improve the candidate set, and find out traveling partners. In this process, we use the principle of Closure to accelerate our processing. Through experiments on the RFID synthetic dataset, we demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of our algorithm, thus show that our algorithm is suitable for discovering traveling partners in RFID applications.

Optimization Model of EV Charging and Discharging Price Considering Vehicle Owner Response and Power Grid Cost

        Zhaoyang Qu,Jiajun Song,Yuqing Liu,Hongbo Lv,Kewei Hu,Jian Sun,Miao Li,Wei Liu,Mingshi Cui,Wanxin Wang 대한전기학회 2019 Journal of Electrical Engineering & Technology Vol.14 No.6

The problem of load fuctuation in the distribution network and increasing power grid cost input caused by the unpredictable behavior of electric vehicle (EV) users in response to electricity price is investigated in this paper. An optimization model method for the charging and discharging price of electric vehicles is proposed, considering the vehicle owner response and power grid cost. The rule of EV user travel is frst analyzed, and the travel and battery state constraints are defned. Under the constraints of user charging and discharging behavior and battery characteristics, a user transfer rate and unit energy cost function is designed to construct a multi-objective model of charging and discharging price that minimizes electricity expenditure and avoids an increase in power grid investment. Finally, an improved multi-target fsh swarm algorithm is presented to solve the model optimization problem. The example analysis shows that the proposed method can reduce the peak-valley load diference of the system and cost input of the power grid, as well as provide users with regulation ability to access the power grid at diferent time periods

A Forecasting Method of Electricity Sales Considering the User Churn Rate in a Power Market Environment

        Zhaoyang Qu,Wanxin Wang,Nan Qu,Yuqing Liu,Hongbo Lv,Kewei Hu,Jianyou Yu,Manyang Gao,Jiajun Song 대한전기학회 2019 Journal of Electrical Engineering & Technology Vol.14 No.4

In order to improve the accuracy of forecasts of the electricity sales of power sales companies, a depth forecast model of electricity sales based on the characteristics of the power market is proposed. First, based on survival analysis, the calculation method of the user churn rate in the electricity market is given, and the number of users at a certain moment in the future is predicted. Then, users’ electricity consumption that calculated by the deep belief network and the predicted quantity of users are combined to design a forecast model of electricity sales. Finally, the model is solved utilizing the weighting algorithm of adaptive inertia. The analysis of the example shows that the proposed method achieves a signifi cant improvement in the accuracy of power sales forecasting.

Ethylene Control of Flowering and Sex Differentiation in Three Sex Types of Inbred Melon Lines

        Hongxia Ye,Tonglin Wang,Lv Lv,Yuqing Hu,Bingliang Wang 한국원예학회 2020 원예과학기술지 Vol.38 No.4

Flower types and sex expression are important traits for melon (Cucumis melo L.) and hybrid seed production. Here, we studied the effects of ethrel, aminoethoxyvinylglycine (AVG) and silver nitrate (AgNO3) on floral development and sex expression in andromonoecious, monoecious, and hermaphroditic inbred melon lines in an experimental field at Zhejiang University, Hangzhou China during the autumn of 2017. The application of 100, 200, and 400 µL·L-1 of 40% ethrel delayed the initiation of male/bisexual flowers on the main stem and inhibited the formation of lateral branches bearing female/bisexual flowers. Ethrel exposure changed the flower sex type on the main stem of the three inbred melon lines. Melon sexual types could be converted from andromonoecious to hermaphroditic, from monoecious to gynoecious, and from hermaphroditic to gynomonoecious/gynoecious and be devoid of buds destined to be male flowers. The three inbred melon lines responded differently to ethrel during floral development and sex transition, with the monoecious line being the most sensitive and the hermaphroditic line being the most insensitive. The inhibitor of ethylene biosynthesis, AVG (100 mg·L-1), and the inhibitor of ethylene action, AgNO3 (300 mg·L-1), were ineffective in altering sex expression. However, the male/bisexual flowers on the main stem formed at lower nodes in AVG- or AgNO3-treated plants, resulting in earlier flower initiation for the hermaphroditic line. Thus, the application of AVG or AgNO3 promoted earlier fruit setting in hermaphroditic melon. In addition, the use of ethrel to induce male sterility in melon could replace the expensive labor necessary for the mechanical emasculation of hybrids and ensure hybrid seed purity.

Identification and differential expression analysis of anthocyanin biosynthetic genes in root-skin color variants of radish (Raphanus sativus L.)

        Rugang Yu,Xueling Du,Jing Li,Lan Liu,Chaomeng Hu,Xiaoling Yan,Yuqing Xia,Huijuan Xu 한국유전학회 2020 Genes & Genomics Vol.42 No.4

Background Taproot skin color is a major trait for assessing the commercial and nutritional quality of radish, and red-skinned radish is confirmed to improve consumer’s interest and health. However, little is known about the molecular mechanisms responsible for controlling the formation of red-skinned radish. Objective This study aimed to identify the differentially expressed anthocyanin biosynthetic genes between red- and whiteskinned radishes and understand the molecular regulatory mechanism underlying red-skinned radish formation. Methods Based on the published complete genome sequence of radish, the digital gene expression profiles of Yangzhouyuanbai (YB, white-skinned) and Sading (SD, red-skinned) were analyzed using Illumina sequencing. Results A total of 3666 DEGs were identified in SD compared with YB. Interestingly, 46 genes encoded enzymes related to anthocyanin biosynthesis and 241 genes encoded transcription factors were identified. KEGG pathway analysis showed that the formation of red-skinned radish was mainly controlled by pelargonidin-derived anthocyanin biosynthetic pathway genes. This process included the upregulation of PAL, C4H, 4CL, CHS, CHI, F3H, DFR, LDOX, and UGT enzymes in SD. CHS genes were specifically expressed in SD, and it might be the key point for red pigment accumulation in red-skinned radish. Furthermore, MYB1/2/75, bHLH (TT8), and WD 40 showed higher expression in SD than in YB. Meanwhile, the corresponding low-abundance anthocyanin biosynthesis enzymes and upregulation of MYB4 might be the factors influencing the formation of white-skinned radish. Conclusion These findings provide new insights into the molecular mechanisms and regulatory network of anthocyanin biosynthesis in red-skinned radish.
