This study is purposed to analyse the effects of long-term & one-time 10km running exercise from bone metabolic marker change on bone metabolism. 7 male members(18.6±1.08) from a marathon club were subjected to the study. They were allowed to do long-term 10 km running training once a week for 6 months. And bone metabolism mark was determined according to the respective times : before/after 6 months training, before/after 10 km race, one day after the race, 3 days after the race. The examination items of bone metabolism mark were serum calcium, phosphorus, paratyroid hormone, osteocalcin, calcitonin, alkaline phosphatase in blood and calcium, phosphorus, deoxypyridinolin in urine. The results of study were as follows; 1) There was no change in deoxypyridinolin and alkaline phosphatase but there was significant change in calcitonin, paratyroid hormone and osteocalcin(p<.01). 2) There was no change of Calcium in serum and urine but there was significant change of phosphorus in blood(p<.01). To make a conclusion, it is determined that long-term 10 km running at low intensity and low frequency tends to restrict bone metabolism circulation, but exercise at a little high level activates bone metabolism into building up bones and absorbing bones and finally shows up high bone metabolism circulation, which is inferred to have an effective influence on bone health. It is considered there is a possibility that different exercise intensity, even same kind of exercise, influences on bone metabolism sdifferently.

This paper focuses on St. Joseph Apartment the ‘old apartment’ in Seoul. Some old apartments develop, others disappear without a trace. Where do these standards come from, and what is the fundamental identity of an old apartment. The basic value of the building is evaluated through the ‘building value assessment’, and the contents of the evaluation are reviewed by comparing and analyzing the contents of the Seoul City’s ‘Future Heritage’ selection. In addition, we applied a method to identify and develop the ’fundamental value’ of old buildings through ’building preservation value analysis’. Through this study, it is possible to ‘determine the value’ of ‘old apartments’ that can be easily seen on the street, and to compare and analyze the ‘St. Joseph apartments’ analyzed in this study with other apartments as a reference point.

Breeding and cultivation techniques are being treated very severely regarding ecological and physiological development in buckwheat. This study was conducted to focus on the diversity occurring in the cultivated and tartary buckwheat and provide an overview of the characteristics and genetic resources activities. Morphological results showed that the height of common buckwheat ranges from 82-90cm, common buckwheat induced by 200Gy ranges from 52-75cm, common buckwheat induced by 300Gy ranges from 43-56cm, common buckwheat induced by 400Gy ranges from 33-60cm whereas the tartary buckwheat hight ranges from 65-87cm, and while it exposed to various radiation (200Gy, 300Gy and 400Gy), the obtained height ranges from 73-92cm, 55-80cm and 60-75cm respectively. However, the stems from the both cultivar are hollow and that’s why, the plant is very prone to lodging. The leaf color of common buckwheat was green, 200Gray, 300Gy 400Gy common buckwheat light green and green, whereas the tartary buckwheat green and bottle-green, 200Gray 300Gy 400Gy tatary buckwheat bottle-green, common buckwheat (control, 200Gy, 300Gy, 400Gy) stem color is light green and pink, flower color is white, tartary buckwheat (control, 200Gy, 300Gy, 400Gy) flower color is light green. The stem color from tartary buckwheat showed (200Gy, 300Gy, 400Gy) light green and light red color. The results revealed that the two buckwheat cultivars showed diversified characteristics.
일조 분석을 통한 아파트 단지내 어린이집의 배치, 방향 최적화에 대한 연구

As the number of high-rise apartments increases, daycare centers planned for the lower floors of the complex have serious light environmental problems. Infants and toddlers spend most of their daylight hours in daycare centers, and the appropriate light environment has a great influence on the development of infants and toddlers. In this study, the arrangement and the direction of the building are adjusted to meet the appropriate amount of daycare center lighting in the apartment complex. This study suggested a plan to improve the light environment of daycare centers and community facilities with a minimal effect on apartment residential when designing the low-rise area. The plan should be planned from the early stages of design and appropriate environmental standards should be established for infants and young children and the lower floors.

In this work, we studied the effects of electrochemical oxidation treatments of carbon fibers (CFs) on interfacial adhesion between CF and epoxy resin with various current densities. The surface morphologies and properties of the CFs before and after electrochemical-oxidation-treatment were characterized using field emission scanning electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and single-fiber contact angle. The mechanical interfacial shear strength of the CFs/epoxy matrix composites was investigated by using a micro-bond method. From the results, electrochemical oxidation treatment introduced oxygen functional groups and increased roughness on the fiber surface. The mechanical interfacial adhesion strength also showed higher values than that of an untreated CF-reinforced composite.
Bone and Soft Tissue Changes after Two-Jaw Surgery in Cleft Patients

Background Orthognathic surgery is required in 25% to 35% of patients with a cleft lip and palate, for whom functional recovery and aesthetic improvement after surgery are important. The aim of this study was to examine maxillary and mandibular changes, along with concomitant soft tissue changes, in cleft patients who underwent LeFort I osteotomy and sagittal split ramus osteotomy (two-jaw surgery). Methods Twenty-eight cleft patients who underwent two-jaw surgery between August 2008 and November 2013 were included. Cephalometric analysis was conducted before and after surgery. Preoperative and postoperative measurements of the bone and soft tissue were compared. Results The mean horizontal advancement of the maxilla (point A) was 6.12 mm, while that of the mandible (point B) was -5.19 mm. The mean point A-nasion-point B angle was $-4.1^{\circ}$ before surgery, and increased to $2.5^{\circ}$ after surgery. The mean nasolabial angle was $72.7^{\circ}$ before surgery, and increased to $88.7^{\circ}$ after surgery. The mean minimal distance between Rickett's E-line and the upper lip was 6.52 mm before surgery and 1.81 mm after surgery. The ratio of soft tissue change to bone change was 0.55 between point A and point A' and 0.93 between point B and point B'. Conclusions Patients with cleft lip and palate who underwent two-jaw surgery showed optimal soft tissue changes. The position of the soft tissue (point A') was shifted by a distance equal to 55% of the change in the maxillary bone. Therefore, bone surgery without soft tissue correction can achieve good aesthetic results.
