Buried Child에 나타난 제의적 요소에 관한 연구

The objective of this study is to show how Sam Shepard has made use of the rituals in his play, Buried Child(1978). Shepard who was once involved in experimental theaters in the sixties, is an American playwright noted for his performance-oriented plays. Like Antonin Artaud who longed for the Theater of Cruelty, Shepard tried to create total theater that appeals to all the senses. As the theatrical strategies for these theaters, he tried to use dramatic techniques such as rituals, violence, metadrama, music, audio visual effects and various postmodern, experimental artistic methods rather than traditional ones. It is ritual on stage that Shepard tried to use in Buried Child to realize the theatricality. Through repetitive activities, representation of myth, and search for identity of American people and society, Shepard succeeds in building the ritual stage in this play. Roses are given before the death of Dodge by his wife, Halie and his grandson, Vince as mourning activities. Tilden, the first son of Dodge, who was once a famous football player but now is considered sick in mind, brings corns, carrots, and corpse of a child from the back yard one by one. In the final scene of this play, through the body of the buried child in Tilden's arms, a mythic pattern of death, fertility and resurrection is shown reinforcing the ritual. Besides the repetitive activities symbolizing funeral ceremony, violence signifies as powerful imagery attacking audience's sensibilities. This play wants to speak to the senses than to the mind of the audience, about many things symbolizing the death of American dream, the destruction of American family and missing of pure Americanness. Shepard's purpose in this play is to make the audience have a great change in their attitude of lives and in their living itself. Certainly throughout the stage of Buried Child rites have a great effect on inducing the theme of social consciousness.

IP 주소 프로토콜 충돌검출시스템 설계 및 구현

In this thesis, a method of solving the IP(Internet Protocol) address collision problem on the Web browser in the TCP/IP based on LAN(Local Area Network). These days a number of computers are increasing in geometrical progression, but general users who are not experts are lack of the knowledge about TCP/IP address, by they may use not only their own but also other users' TCP/IP addresses by mistake or intentionally. For the more they may use IP address which is the same as network equipments and then the situation will cause the whole network to be disturbed. As the result it may be happened that not only the original users' network but also the whole users' one do not operate properly in the LAN. In this thesis, the system proposed in this thesis collect address informations of personal computers which are objects of management in local area network and network systems (sever, workstation) and find whether the address informations which are used at that time are the same with the exact which are stored, and then compares with IP address information in the RARP packet on the WEB Browsers. And therefore want to protect the disturbances of network system caused by address change which are occurred by design or by mistakes. It is demonstrated that it can be protected by using the suggested method.

완전탈구된 치아의 지연 재석

완전탈구된 치아의 치료법은 재식술을 들 수 있는데, 이는 치조와에서 이탈된 치아를 가능한 빠른 시간 내에 재식립하는 술식이다. 일반적으로 재식술의 성공여부는 치수와 치주인대 손상의 정도, 치아상실 시부터 치조와 내로 재식될 때까지의 경과시간, 탈구된 치아의 보관 상태, 치근의 발육 정도 등에 좌우된다. 그 중 치아상실 시부터 재식까지의 경과시간이 특히 중요한데, 일반적으로 30분 이내에 재식을 시행한 경우에는 90%이상의 성공률을 보인 반면 30분에서 90분 사이에서는 43%, 90분 이상 경과 시에는 7%의 성공률을 보인다고 알려져 있다. 본 증례는 완전탈구 후 오랜 시간이 지연되어 재식을 시행하였으나 치근유착을 통해 비교적 양호한 임상적 결과를 얻었다. 이러한 치료로 결국은 치아의 손실이 일어날지라도, 이것은 환자 및 보호자의 사고에 따른 충격을 감소시켜주고, 자체로 공간 유지장치로서의 기능을 할 수 있으며, 발치에 따른 치조골의 흡수를 늦추는 한편, 적극적인 보철치료를 위한 시간을 벌어줄 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. Replantation may be treatment choice for a completely avulsed tooth caused by traumatic injury. The outcome of replantation depends on the following factors: minimal damage to pulp and periodontal membrane the length of time the avulsed tooth was out of the mouth, how the tooth was stored the level of root formation, etc. The time from the act of avulsion of the tooth to the actual replantation is especially important. Generally, when replanted within 30 minutes, more than 90% of cases succeed but when the time is between 30 to 90minutes 43% and greater than 90 minutes 7%. This is a case of a replanted tooth with relatively good prognois by ankylosis though there was a great time lapse since the tooth was avulsed. Though such treatment lead to loss of the tooth in case of children or adolescents this treatment is meaningful because it may earn time until any definitive therapy functionally stimulate the alveolar bone to retain its hight for a better prognosis for future treatment and act as space maintainer

동종 조혈모세포이식 후 발생한 크립토콕쿠스 척추염 1예

Skeletal cryptococcosis is an uncommon infection. Cryptococcus is a common cause of meningitis and infects 7∼10% of patients with AIDS. As well as AIDS, the infection may be seen in association with leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease, sarcoidosis, tuberculosis and diabetes, also in patients on steroid medication. But there is no case report of skeletal cryptococcosis following allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. A 40-year-old woman was admitted to the hospital because of low back pain. She had chronic myelogenous leukemia for 2 years and underwent allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation 8 months ago. She have been treated with steroid and cyclosporine orally because of chronic graft versus host disease. On examination she was afebrile and had posterior lower lumbar tenderness. But, she had no reduced strength of low extremities. Open biopsy was underwent. Histology demonstrated budding, round-to-oval, refractile yeast-like organisms within debris. The results of a lumbar puncture were unremarkable and cerebrospinal fluid culture failed to grow bacteria and yeast. The patient was treated with amphotericin B (1 gram) and AmBisome□ (2.8 gram) over 6 weeks. Three months after cessation of therapy, the patient was doing well.(Korean J Infect Dis 33:298∼301, 2001)

Lupus erythematous panniculitis is a chronic inflammatory disease of subcutaneous fat that occurs in 2-3% of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus. Lupus erythematous panniculitis typically presents with firm, indurated subcutaneous nodules or plaques commonly developed in proximal extremities, trunks, head and neck. Face, breast and upper extremities involvement with lupus erythematous panniculitis has been infrequently reported. We report a case of lupus erythematous panniculitis developed in a 27-year-old female confirmed by histologic features and laboratory findings.

남성유방에서 발생한 침윤성 선암종 1 예 : Report of a case

Male breast cancer is rare compared to female breast cancer, about 1% or all breast cane or. The cause of male breast cancer is as poorly understood, but several etiologic factors have been suggested in the literature. Proposed risk factors include exogenous estrogen exposure, Klinefelter’s syndrome, gynecomastia and familial clustering. All of the microscopic types identified in the female breast have been encountered in males : the most common type is infiltrating duct carcinoma. Most often, it presents as a painless lump and subareolar in origin. Comparison with female breast cancer reveals no difference with regard to incidence of positive axillary lymph nodes. However there is a sightly lower survival rate for men. The stage of disease is the only parameter that significantly affects outcome. We report a case of breast cancer arising right subareolar area in a 57 year-old male. There were no familial history, Klinefelter's syndrome and microscopic evidence of gynecomastia. Histologically, this tumor was infiltrating duct carcinoma disposed in nests sometimes glands .

The HTTP Protocol composed of WWW's client/server model is unconnected and not keep state, so, there is one connection for one request. In this condition, it has no guarantee to memory which is needed in sequential processing, and HTTP Protocol has no choices to transfer the information from client to server's CGI or the information exchange. This paper uses the word 'key' instead of this 'state information'. We studied the key which creates automatically the HTML document for data search hierarchically in WWW environment and to confirm applied this to multimedia order and sale system of agricultural and marine products.

심장사상충증 이환견의 치료 1례

A 4-years old pointer dog was referred to the Veterinary Teaching Hospital of Chungnam National University with chief compliment of anorexia, exercise intolerance, hemoptysis, coughing and ascites. It was diagnosed as heartworm disease (class 3) by physical and laboratory examination, radiography, ultrasonography and electrocardiography. This dog was undertaken by adulticidal therapy. Normal conditions and good appetite after therapy were observed.
