Simulation of the Optical Anomaly in a Mo/Si Multilayer System for an EUV Reflector

The performance of multilayer extreme ultraviolet (EUV) re ector has direct bearing on the process throughput and cost of new technology. Using 80 layers of a Mo/Si model and 120 layers of a Ru/Mo/Si model, we intended in this work to show that the re ectivity of the Bragg re ector can be improved by an optical anomaly based on a relative alteration of the layer thickness. As a result, by using the Mo/Si model with the thicknesses of the Mo layers increased equally and the Ru/Mo/Si model with the thicknesses of Ru layers increased equally, we obtained the maximum re ectivity enhancement eect. This quantitative analysis of the optical anomaly can be utilized to optimize the optical properties of the existing Mo/Si system as well as to provide fundamental insights into the science involved in a Bragg EUV reflector.
자연과학편 : 기공체조와 신체교정요법이 척추측만증 여고생들의 Cobb`s angle과 Moire 영상에 미치는 효과 분석

본 연구의 연구대상은 16~19세 사이 척추측만증 환자 16명을 대상으로 하였으며, 척추측만증 환자는 기공요법과 수기요법으로 각각 8명씩 나누어 시술하였다. 척추측만증 환자들이 8주간의 기공요법과 수기요법으로 Cobb's- angle, Moire Topography에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 측정한 결과를 비교, 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 기공체조와 수기요법이 측만각에 미치는 효과: Cobb's-angle의 변화는 기공요법, 수기요법에서 시기, 시기와 그룹간 상호작용에서 유의한 감소를 나타냈다(P<.001). 기공체조와 수기요법이 근육등고선에 미치는 효과: Moire Topography의 변화에서는 좌·우 신체균형의 비교로서, 우측면에서 등고선의 개수는 유의한 차이가 나타났으며(P<.05), SMC(left), HMC(left)를 제외한 전부 그룹간에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다(P<.05). 전체적으로 8주간의 시술 후 좌·우가 서로 평형을 이루는 것으로 나타났다. 척추측만증 치료는 성장기 청소년시기에 조기 발견하여, 척추 주변 근력을 향상시키는 기공체조나 스트레칭과 같은 트레이닝을 꾸준히 하면 척추측만 학생들의 측만 각도가 정상적으로 유지될 것으로 생각된다. A total of including 16 scoliosis patients aged between 16 and 19 and 15 normal students, made up the study population. Qigong therapy was performed on 8 scoliosis patients and manual manipulation therapy on the remaining 8 patients. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of Qi-gong therapy and manual manipulation therapy, which are not surgical procedures, performed on scoliosis patients in Y girls’ high school for 8 weeks. The patients were treated with Qi-gong therapy and manual manipulation therapy for 8 weeks and the effects on Cobb’s angle, Moire topography have been evaluated. The results of the analysis have shown the following: Significant differences period, period*group, and group in the change of Cobb's angle among three group(P<0.5). No significant in the change of SMC(left), HMC(left) in Moire Topography but, Significant differences in the change of another factor among three group(P<0.5). Therefore, early detection of scoliosis during adolescence and steady Qigong gymnastic exercise or stretching, which improves muscles around the spine, may keep Cobb’s angle of students normal.
Development of Single-layer-structured Glucose Biosensor

In this paper, we fabricated a low-cost glucose sensor with a simpler structure and fabrication process than the existing glucose sensor. The currently used glucose sensor has a three-layer structure with upper, middle, and bottom plates; here, we fabricated a single-layer glucose sensor using only a printing and dispensing process. We successfully fabricated the glucose sensor using a simple method involving the formation of an electrode and insulator layer through a 2- or 3-step printing process on plastic or paper film, followed by the dispensing of glucose oxidase solution on the electrode. Cyclic voltammetry (CV) and cyclic amperometry (CA) measurements were used to evaluate the characteristics of the fabricated single-layer glucose sensor. Also, its sensitivity was analyzed through glucose-controlled blood measurements. Hence, a low-cost single-layer glucose sensor was fabricated with evaluation of its characteristics demonstrating that it has useful application in medicine.
Development of Capacitive-type Pressure Mapping Sensor using Printing Technology

In this study, I developed a simple and low cost process-―printing a silver, carbon, dielectric, adhesive layer on PET films using screen printing technology and bonding the two films face-to-face―to fabricate a low price capacitive pressure-mapping sensor. Both electrodes forming the pressure measuring capacitor are arranged between the two PET films similar to a sandwich. Therefore, the sensor has the advantage of minimizing the influence of external noise. In this study, a 10×10 capacitance-type pressure-mapping sensor was fabricated and its characteristics were analyzed
