Background and Objectives : Cigarette smoking is a major factor and the most modifiable risk factor for atherosclerosis. Endothelial dysfunction is an early event in atherosclerosis, before the structural change of the systemic arteries. We hypothesized that endothelial dysfunction might be present in the systemic arteries of young adult smokers and that this might be dose-dependent phenomenon. Therefore, we try to certify that smoking is associated with endothelial dysfunction in healthy young adults without other risk factor of atherosclerosis. Subjects and Methods : we studied noninvasively 29 subjects aged 3 to 4 decades without other risk factor of atherosclerosis, they were composed of the two groups, current smokers(n=15) and nonsmokers(n=14). Smoking history varied from 3 to 20 pack years. Using high-resolution ultrasound, vessel diameter and mean flow rate were measured at rest, during reactive hyperemia(with flow-mediated endothelium-dependent dilation), and after sublingual nitroglycerin(NG-induced endothelium-independent vasodilation). Result : Flow mediated endothelium dependent dilation was observed in the control subjects (9.4±3.44%) but was impaired in the smokers(5.8±2.51%)(p=0.004). NG-induced endothelium independent dilation is no difference in all subjects. Conclusion : Cigarette smoking is associated with endothelial dysfunction in healthy young adults.

Agranulocytosis, one of the major side effects of antithyroid a gents, probably occurs in less than 0.25% of cases treated with antithyroid agents. It usually occurs within the first several weeks or months after the initiation of therapy, when drug dosage is higher. Most reported cases of agranulocytosis have occurred during the first 3 months of therapy. We describe here a rare case that did not experience the side effect for 6 years of antithyroid agent treatment but presented with agranulocytosis in one month after re-exposure. It suggests that the major side effect such as agranulocytosis can occur in patients who had undergone prior uneventful antithyroid drug therapy.

연 X-선 현미경을 이용한 금 나노입자 세포영상

연 x-선 현미경은 ‘물의 창’ 영역(2.3~4.4 nm)의 파장을 이용하여, 수십 nm의 분해능으로 세포를 파괴하지 않고 살아있는 상태에서 세포의 내부구조를 관찰할 수 있어 가시광선현미경과 전자현미경을 단점을 보완하는 특징을 갖는 세포 생물학 연구에 적합한 현미경이다. 그러나 기존 연 x-선 현미경은 광원으로 방사선 가속기를 이용하기 때문에 사용이 제한적이었다. 이에, 본 연구에서는 2.88 nm의 연 x-선을 광원으로 사용하는 소형 연 x-선 현미경을 이용하여, 내포작용에 의해 금 나노입자를 포획한 HT1080과 MDA-MB 231 세포의 영상을 약 60 nm 분해능으로 획득하였다. 금 나노입자의 세포에 대한 독성을 제거하기 위하여 폴리에틸렌 글리콜을 캡핑하였고, 2.88 nm 파장의 연 x-선에 대하여 충분한 조영효과로 인하여 세포영상에서 뚜렷한 대조도를 나타내었다. 내포작용에 의해 액포에 포함되어 있는 다양한 크기의 금 나노입자 군집을 확인하였으며, 세포내부의 액포의 분포상태도 관찰할 수 있었다. 따라서 고분해능을 가진 소형 연 x-선 현미경을 이용하여 금 나노입자를 세포내의 미세기관이나 특정 단백질에 표지하면 연 x-선에 대한 조영효과의 증가에 의하여 더욱 유용한 정보를 획득할 수 있을 것으로 생각한다. A compact soft x-ray microscope operated in the ‘water window’ wavelength region (2.3~4.4 nm) was used for observing cells with nano-scale spatial resolution. To obtain cellular imaging captured with colloidal gold nanoparticles using a compact soft x-ray microscope. The colloidal gold nanoparticles showed higher contrast and lower transmission more than 7 times than that of cellular protein on the soft x-ray wavelength region. The structure and thickness of the cell membrane of the Coscinodiscus oculoides (diatome) and red blood cells were seen clearly. The gold nanoparticles within the HT1080 and MDA-MB 231 cells were seen clearly on the soft x-ray microscopy. The gold nanoparticles were aggregated within vesicles by endocytosis.

가속시험에 의한 릴레이의 기계적 수명평가에 관한 연구

In this paper, accelerated life testing(ALT) method and procedures for a are developed and applied to assess the reliability of the product. Relay is a device that can open and close the electric circuit electrically and is used for protecting and controlling the load. In this study, an accelerated life test method for predicting the mechanical life of a relay is developed using the relationship between stresses, failure mechanism and life characteristics of products. Using the ALT method, we performed life tests and analyzed the tests results. The proposed method and procedures may de extended and applied to testing similar kinds of products to reduce test times and costs of the tests remarkably.

境界要素法에 의한 3次元 基礎一地盤 相互作用 시스템의 地震解析

In this study, the seismic analysis procedure of foundation-soil interaction system is presented. With the assumption of isotropic material properties and infinitesimal strain theory, the boundary element models of three dimensional foundation plate an semi-infinite soil medium are coupled together, using the compatiblity condition of displacements and equilibrium condition of surface tractions on the contact surface. Through the results of the examples in which the seismic responses of the foundation subjected to the SV-wave and the P-Wave, it is shown that the translational motions are decreased and the rocking motion is occured in higher frquency range.

21세기 대구 · 경북의 성장 동력으로서 『문화자본』의 의미

본 연구에서는 문화자본의 의미를 바탕으로 대구 · 경북이 본래 가지고 있지만, 활용하지 못하고 있던 문화자본을 대구 · 경북 지역의 성장동력 산업으로 이끌기 위한 전체적인 방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 첫째, 대구 · 경북은 문화의 21세기에서 창조적이고 차별화된 문화자본을 축적하기 위해 지역 내 숨겨진 자원을 발굴하고, 개발해야 한다. 둘째, 사회 · 문화 주동적 성향을 토대로 창의적이고 미래지향적인 문화상품을 개발해 나가야 하고, 세계 속에 대구 · 경북을 알릴 수 있는 대표 브랜드 상품 개발에 주력해야 한다. 셋째, 풍부한 문화유산, 자연환경 등의 유 · 무형의 자원을 최대한 활용하여야 한다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 세 가지 방안의 실천을 위한 행정기관, 기업, 언론 및 교육기관에 따른 방법 또한 제시하였다. 먼저, 지역정부는 문화인프라 구축의 중요성을 인식해야한다. 다음으로, 기업은 문화자본 축적을 비용으로 생각하기보다는 투자로 생각할 수 있는 인식의 전환이 필요하다. 마지막으로, 언론 및 교육기관에서는 선진문화지역으로 도약하기 위한 지역 주민들의 자긍심과 인식이 확대될 수 있도록 도와주어야한다. This paper suggested that the role of cultural capital to be economic growth engine in Daegu and Kyungpook region. Daegu and Kyungpook's role is as followed ; The first, Daegu and Kyungpook should develop and unearth hidden cultural resources, and the second, should develop creative cultural goods based on social and cultural propensity, the third should use the tangible and intangible resources such as cultural inheritance and nature. Besides this, this paper also suggested the roles of local government, local business, local press and local educational institution in Dageu and Kyungpook region. At first, local government should recognize the importance of cultural infrasturcture, the local business needs the concept of cultural capital, and the local press and educational institution should help local citizens have the pride of local culture.

하지에 발생한 피부 결손의 치료에서 전 외측 대퇴부 유리 피판술의 유용성

Background : The objective of this study was to evaluate the clinical results of operative treatment on skin defect of lower extremities by free anterolateral thigh flap. Methods : Between 2005 to 2009 we followed up 10 cases who undergoing anterolateral thigh free flap because of lower extremity skin and soft tissue defect. 3 cases are heel, ankle and foot dorsum are each 2 cases, sole and knee, thigh are each 1 case. We observed that of implanted area's color, peripheral circulation at 3, 5, 7 days after operation and evaluation with operating time, amount of hemorrhage, implanted skin necrosis, additional operation, complications. Results : 9 cases of 10 showed successful localization and 1 case showed fail. Size of soft tissue defect due to trauma was 9.5 × 7.3cm (5 × 6cm∼13 × 8cm), due to trauma or infection was 18.3 × 11.8cm (13 × 6cm∼30 × 20cm). Skin color change was mainly due to congestion with hematoma, flap was not observed global congestion or necrosis except 2 cases which showed partial necrosis on margin that treated with conservative therapy. Conclusion : Anterolateral thigh free flap is useful in radical skin defect treatment and had a good results after operation functional reconstruction.

男子高校選手 集團의 權限構造에 關한 硏究 : 全南道內 選手를 中心으로 Laying Stress on Sport groups in Chonnam Province

The purpose of this paper is to coarify the power structure of sport Groups with special reference to the power of determining group goals and norms and to darify the relation ship between the group Cohesiveness and team success. In order to achieve this purpose, three following patterns of power structure are clarified by examining who actually has the power of determining group goals and norms. They are “membership pattern" in which all member of a group have the equal power in determining goals and norms. “captain pattern" in which some few powerfull members momopolize the right to determine norms and goals, and “non-membership pattern" (It can also be called “outsider control pattern") in which some outcider have the determining powers, and Group Cohesiveness is examined. The subjects were the 18ma1e middle school sport groups and the male high school sport groups in chonnam province. The results obtained are as follows. 1. The power structure of sport groups . 1) Korean sport groups are determined by “non-membership pattern" (50.6%,) and “membership pattern" (30%), “Captain pattern" (19.4%) 2) Korean male middle school sport groups are determined by “non-membership pattern"(46.2%) and “ membership pattern" (35.6%) “Captain pattern" (16.7 %) 3) Korean male high school sport groups are determined by “non- membership pattern" (35.6%)and “ membership pattern" (24.4 %), “Captain pattern" (22.2 %) 4) Coacting task groups are determined by “non-membership”(45%) and “membership pattern"(35 %), “captain pattern" (20%) 5) Counteracting task groups are determined by “non-membership pattern" (46.7%) and “captain pattern" (28.3%) “membership pattern" (25 %) 6) Interacting task groups are mainly determined by “non-membership pattern" (60%) and “membership pattern" (30%) 7) The higher the teem success. the more the “ non-membership pattern”. 8) The lower the team success. the more the “ membership pattern".

Von der feministischen Linguistik, derer Wurzeln in der USA liegen, sind die Beziehungen zwischen einer Sprache und dem Geschlecht thematisiert worden. Mit ihrem Beitrag "Linguistik und Frauensprache"(1978) hat Tro¨mel-Plo¨tz das Thema im deutschen Sprachraum. Tro¨mel-Plo¨tz hat Ungleicheit im deutschen Sprachsystem und geschlechtsspezifische Unterschicdlichkeit im Sprechen von Ma¨nnern und Frauen herausgearbeitet. Nach ihrer Meinung ist das maskuline grammatische Geschlecht die Norm und die femiminen Formen die Abweichung, verbunden mit einer positiven Bewertung der Norm und einer negativen Wertung der Abweichung. Die Sprache ist also sexistisch. Kalverka¨mper(1979) will wertfrei und struktural-systematisch zum Pha¨nomen 'Sprache' zugehen und sich in seinem Beitrag gegen die These vom Sexisums des deutschen Sprachsystems weden. Neutralisation erkla¨rt er als Wirken des O¨konomieprinzips in der Sprache und er wirft Tro¨mel-Plo¨tz vor, die sprachliche Kategorie des Genus mit der auβersprachlichen Kategorie des Sexus zu vermischen. Auβerdem empfindet er eine Kritik an sprachlichen Grenzziehungen als unlinguistjsch und las Miβachtung der Arbitrarita¨t des sprachlichen Zeicbens. Er deutet Sprache nicht als auf das Bewuβtsein wirkende Kraft, seiner Meinung nach pra¨gen die Benutzer die Sprache. Pusch weist Kalverka¨mpers Kritik an Tro¨mel-Plo¨tz mit folgenden Punkten zuru¨ck. Erstens bestreiten neuere Forschungen die von Kalverka¨mper vo¨llige Arbitrarita¨t des sprachlichen Zeichens. Zweitens ist der von Kalverka¨mper vorgelegte generische Gebrauch von Nomina nur ein Teil des von Tro¨mel-Plo¨tz gemeinten Referenzproblems. Hierber geho¨ren vor allem auch Personenbezeichungen, fu¨r die gar keine sprachliche Opposition bestcht. Drittens will Tro¨mel-Plo¨tz die Beziehung zwischen aussersprachlichem Sezus und sprachlichem Genus geziehlt analysieren, unter besonderer Beriicksjchtigung von Fa¨llen, in denen beide Kategorien miteinander in Konflikt geraten. Heir vertritt Kalverka¨mper einen strukturalistischen Standpunkt, das heiβt, er arguinentiert synchron oder ahistorisch und sieht als alleinige Aufgabe einer wissenschaftlichen Bescha¨ftigung mit Sprache ihre Beschreibung unter Ausklainmerung jeglicher Wertung an. Demgegnu¨ber vertreten Tro¨mel-Plo¨tz und Pusch einen sprachkritischen Standpunkt, schen also gerrade in der Wertung ihre Aufgabe. Aber man kann allen Beteiligten eine einseitige Betrachtungsweise im Zentralen Punkt vorwerfen. Gegenstand der Kritik ist vor allem die Polysemie meist maskuliner Formen, die in der parole zu Miβversta¨ndnissen und Fehlern fu¨hren kann. Wegen der Dominanz maskuliner Formem dienen maskuline Formen der Referenz auf Personen ma¨nnlichen Geschlechts, aber auch der geschlechtsneutralen Referenz, und feminine Formen sind meist von maskulinen abgeleitet. Die gesellschaftlichen Verha¨ltnisse haben sich viel gea¨ndert. Diese A¨nderungen sind jedoch in der gesellschaftlichen Wirklichkeit noch la¨ngst nicht vollzogen. Mit Hilfe sprachlicher A¨nderungen sollen bereits erfolgte gesellschaftliche A¨nderungen sprachlich menifest werde. und die sprachlichen A¨nderungen sollen dazu heitragen, gesellschaftliche A¨nderungen voranzutreiben, denn Sprache wird nicht nur als Produkt der Gesellschft, sondern auch als die Gesellschaft pra¨gende Kraft angesehen.
