        자매에서 발생한 중증 마이코플라즈마 폐렴에서 스테로이드 치료

        Numerous evidences support the pathogenesis that M. pneumonias pneumonia is associated with cell-mediat-ed immune reaction. We report 2 cases of severe M. pneumoniae pneumonia in previously healthy sisters, who were both admitted during an epidemic of M. pneumoniae pneumonia. The elder sister, who was 16 years old, was admitted with M. pneumoniae pneumonia. She showed no response to treatment with clarithroycin and levo-floxacin, and eventually progressed to severe ARDS, requiring mechanical ventilation. After treatment with hydrocortisone (200 mg/day), there were rapid improvements in clinical manifestations and chest radiographic findings. The younger sister, who was 14 years old, was admitted 10 days later, Presenting with fever but no pneumonic lesions on chest radiograph. Just like her sister, the infection showed no response to clarithromycin. Fever persisted and pneumonic consolidation with mild pleural effusion was noticed in the left lower lobe on the 5th hospital-day. After treatment with oral prednisolone (1 mg/kg), she showed rapid defervescence and on the 8th hospital day, no pneumonic lesions were detectable on chest radiograph. Given the fact that the pathogenesis of pneumonia and extrapulmonary manifestations in M. pneumoniae infection is immune-mediated, an immuno-suppressive therapy would be validated for selected patients with M. pneumoniae infections.

      • 흰쥐 적출 대동맥에서의 알파-1 아드레날린성 수용체 탈감작 현상

        목적 : 흰쥐의 적출 대동맥 절편에서 알파-1 아드레날린성 수용체의 탈감작에 따른 수축력 변화를 확인하고 수축력 변화와 관련된 요인들과의 관계를 검정하기 위해 실시되었다. 대상 및 방법 : Sprague-Dawley rat의 대동맥을 적출하여 알파-1 아드레날린성 수용체 선택적 효현제인 phenylephrine으로 탈감작시킨 뒤 수축력과 이완력의 변화를 확인하였다. 결과 : Phenylephrine에 의한 수축력은 phenylephrine 탈감작에 의해 감소되었다. EDRF와 관련이 있는 이완제인 acetylcholine과 histamine에 의한 이완반응은 phenylephrine 처치로서 변화를 볼 수 없었으나 sodium nitroprusside에 의한 이완은 항진되었다. 탈감작현상은 LNMMA와 methylene blue처치로 인해 영향을 받지 아니하였다. KCl에 의한 수축은 phenylephrine 탈감작으로 억제되었으나 phorbol ester에 의한 수축은 phenylephrine 탈감작으로 인해 영향을 받지 아니하였다. 결론 : phenylephrine에 의해 나타나는 알파-1 수용체 탈감작에 따른 수축력 감소 현상은 이완 작용의 변화와는 관련이 없으며 수축기전의 변화, 특히 calcium에 대한 반응성의 변화에 기인함을 시사하였다. We evaluated alpha 1 adrenergic receptor desensitization and decreased contractility in isolated rat aorta. 4 hour exposure to 10^-5M of phenylephrine (phenylephrine exposure) decreased phenylephrine(10^-10 to 10^-5M)-induced contractility. Phenylephrine exposure had no effect on the relaxation by NO releasing agents, such as acetylcholine(10^-9 to 10^-5M) and histamine(10^-8 to 10^-4M), but enhanced nitroprusside(10^-10 to 10^-6M)-induced relaxation. Phenylephrine-induced desensitization was not altered by the presence of methylene blue and N-monomethyl-L-arginine. After phenylephrine exposure KCl-induced contractility was decreased but phorbol ester-induced contractility was not changed. From these results we can assume that prolonged phenylephrine exposure alter calcium-dependent contraction mechanism and involve in alpha 1 adrenergic receptor desensitization-mediated decrease in contractility.

        살균성, Phenylthionocarbamate 유도체들의 정량적인 구조와 독성과의 관계

        아직까지 시도된 바 없는 살균성 phenylthionocarbamate 유도체들의 phenyl-치환기가 변화함에 따라 TOPKAT 계산으로 예측된 다양한 급성 및 만성 독성값에 미치는 정량적인 분자구조와 독성과의 관계 (QSTRs)를 검토한 결과는 다음과 같다. (1) 기질분자의 구조변화에 따른 독성치와 그의 판별점수 (D.S.)에 기초하여 분자 중 특정부분(FRAGMENT)이 양 (+)의 값으로 독성에 기여하는 대체적인 순서는 Aro, C=C, -O-, -NH- 및 할로겐 (X) 원자의 순이었다. (2) 대부분의 화합물들은 매우 높은 돌연변이와 발암성이 예측되었으며 특히, 치환기의 위치에 관계없이 fluoro-치환체는 B₂상수에 따른 입체효과 ((B₂)_(opt)=1.54Å)에 의하여 모두 100% 돌연변이를 발현한 반면에 trifluoromethyl-치환체는 돌연변이 발현 가능성이 전혀 없었다. (3) 가장 높은 독성 발현조건은 phenyl-치환기에 대한 소정의 적정값으로 돌연변이성에는 (B₂)_(opt)=1.54Å, 발암성에는 수컷 rat와 mouse는 (R)_(opt)=0.16 및 (π)_(opt)=0.16 그리고 rat는 경구독성은 LD_(50)(εLUMO)_(opt)=-0.52e.v, chronic LOAEL; (B₃)_(opt)=1.54Å, 어독성은 LC_(50);(log P)_(opt)=4.25 및 물벼룩에 대한 독성은 EC_(50),(σ)_(opt)=0.68를 나타내는 경우이었다. (4) 돌연변이성에는 할로겐 중 fluoro-기를 위시하여 nitro 및 methyl-기 등의 순서로 기여하였고 phenyl 고리 상, 치환기의 위치와 전자수수관계에는 대체로 무관한 경향을 나타내었다.         컴퓨터 위빙 프로그램에 의한 체크패턴 디자인에 관한 연구

        At present time, our textile industry depends upon or imitates imported foreign textile design. In order to get out of this dependence, it is necessary to develope our unique textile and creative design plays an important part. Computer Dobby Loom, which makes the best use of computer and Weaving Loom, ma be more or less helpful to overcome the structural limitations of the existing Weaving Loom. I am concerned about Computer Weaving Program as a means to make practical use of Computer Dobby Loom and study Check Pattern Design which makes use of Patternland Weave Simulator. Through this study of Check Pattern Design, I expect to seek for the possibility to make practical use of Patternland Weave Simulator, an computer application program. Computer Dobby Loom Software Program will be useful for textile designers to design textile structure and color combination and for textile artists who learn with deep interest textile structure. The comprehension and study of Computer Dobby Loom Soft Ware Program may be a way to develope the textile manufacture and the creation of design in textile industry which is falling behind.

      • 일산화탄소 폭로후 고압산소 재폭로시 흰쥐 신장 및 심장의 SOD 활성 변동에 관한 연구

        Carbon monoxide is generated from the incomplete combustion of carbon-containing materials. Carbon monoxide cause muscle necrosis leading to myoglobinuria and acute renal failure. The hyperbaric oxygen exposure is increased production of active free radicals. Free radicals which promoted peroxidation of unsaturated fatty acids may destroy essential cellular components and itself cytotoxic materials. Superoxide dismutase, one of the protective mechanisms against tissue damage, catalyzed the dismutation of superoxide anion to less toxic product. The author performs the present study to investigate on Mn-SOD and Cu, Zn-SOD immunoreactivities in kidney and heart carbon monoxide (CO) and hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) exposure. The animals were divided CO exposure group, air release after CO exposure group, HBO exposure group and, CO and HBO exposure group. The specimen were sectioned in 16㎛ with cryostate. The Mn-SOD and CuZn-SOD immunohistochemistry was performed in renal corpuscle, proximal and distal convoluted tubules of kidney and, in sarcoplasm and sarcolemma of heart muscle. The results obtained were as follows: 1. The immunoreactivity of Mn-SOD were increased in renal corpuscles and distal convoluted tubules, were similar to control group in proximal convoluted tubules. 2. The immunoreactivity of Cu, Zn-SOD were increased than that of control group in renal corpuscles and distal convoluted tubules, were same that of the control group in proximal convouted tubules. 3. The immunoreactivity of Mn-SOD were increased at all experimental group of sarcoplasms of heart muscle. 4. The immunoreactivity of Cu,Zn-SOD were increased than that of control group in sarcolemma of heart muscle. These results suggest that the immunoreactivity of SOD after CO or HBO exposure is greatly increased in kidney and heart.

      • 말더듬 아동과 일반 아동의 유창성 특성 비교

        The purpose of this study was to investigate characteristics of stutter children on the speech task. The speech task was automatic speech, reading, and monologue. we collect speech sampling during of task. In the study participated seven stuttering children of 7 to 12years old(4 males, 3 females) and seven nonstuttering children(5 males, 2 females). The results of this study were as following. First, there was not significant difference between stuttering children and nonstuttering in the articulation rate. On the automatic speech task, stuttering children articulation rate was mean 171.60(SPM) and nonstuttering children articulation rate was mean 168.34(SPM). On the reading task, stuttering children articulation rate was mean 225.82(SPM) and nonstuttering children articulation rate was mean 218.09(SPM). On the monologue task, stuttering children articulation rate was mean 195.58(SPM) and nonstuttering children articulation rate was mean 191.95(SPM). Second, In the stutter children, dysfluency syllable number varied on the speech task. Also, stutter children, dysfluency syllable rate varied on the speech task. On the automatic, monologue task, dysfluency syllable number was mean 8.57syllable (SD=9.71), 20.71syllable (SD=13.47). On the automatic, monologue task, dysfluency syllable rate was mean 15.85%(SD=32.98), 29.00%(SD=19.74). 본 연구의 목적은 말더듬 아동이 각기 다른 구어 과업에서 유창하게 말할 때의 구어 특성을 알아보는 것이었다. 본 연구의 대상은 7~12세의 말더듬 아동 7명(남자 4명, 여자 3명)과 일반 아동7명(남자 5명, 여자 2명)이었다. 자동구어와 독백 과업을 실시하는 동안 구어샘플 수집하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 말더듬 아동과 일반 아동의 유창한 구어의 속도에는 차이는 없었다. 자동구어 및 독백 과업 모두 유의한 차이가 없었다. 둘째, 과업별 말더듬 아동의 비유창한 음절수는 구어과업에 따라 다양하게 나타났다. 그리고 비유창한 음절 비율도 구어과업에 따라 다양하게 나타났다. 자동구어, 읽기, 독백과업에서 말더듬 아동의 비유창한 음절수는 평균 8.57음절(SD=9.71), 27.57음절(SD=23.47), 20.71음절(SD=13.47)이었다. 비유창한 음절비율은 자동구어, 독백과업에서 평균 15.85%(SD=32.98), 61.35%(SD=106.08), 29.00%(SD=19.74)이었다.

        Ethanol과 유기산의 첨가가 물김치의 품질에 미치는 영향

        The effect of addition of ethanol and/or organic acid on slowing down the fermentation of Mul-kimchi was tested by measuring the changes in pH, acidity and counting the number of microorganisms in kimchi fermentation, and sensory evaluation were carried out. The addition of 0~5% ethanol to kimchi delayed the decrease of pH and the delaying effect during kimchi fermentation was dependent on the ethanol concentration used The pH of kimchi without ethanol decreased from 5.7 to 4.13, however, the pH of the kimchi added with 5% ethanol only from 5.8 to 5.14. The increase of acidity in kimchi with 5% ethanol was only 0.5~0.6%, while that without ethanol was 0.7~0.8%. Among the organic acids tested, adipic acid was found to be most effective on the prevention of kimchi souring. The Mul-kimchi added 2% ethanol together with 0.1% organic acid showed similar effect to that of organic acid alone in the change of pH and acidity. By the sensory evaluation, Mul-kimchi with 0.1% adipic acid and 2% ethanol was selected the most desirable one except control without any addition. And the numbers of total microbes, lactic bacteria and yeast count, showed the most effective inhibition in Mul-kimchi with 0.1% adipic acid and 2% ethanol.

      • Chiral Cu(Ⅱ)착화합물과 촉매로 유도된 Carbenoid반응에 의한 2-phenylcyclopropane-carboxylic acid의 광화학 이성체의 합성

        (-)-(IR, 2R)-trans-menthyl-2-phenylcyclopropanecarboxylate has been synthesized with aid of chiral Cu(Ⅱ) complex catalyst by the addition reaction of menthyldiazoacetate to the styrene. The yield was 80%, the purity of trans-compound over 90% and optical purity 75%. These results show the possibility of synthesis of (-)-(IR, 2R)-trans-2-phenylcyclopropane-carboxylic acid with high purities of optical activity and geometric specificity.

      • IL-1 수용체를 통한 T세포 활성화에 Genistein 과 Staurosporin이 미치는 영향

        Stimulation of T-cells through TCR/CD3 complex alone is known to be not enough but also require a costimulatory signal, such as IL-1 stimulation. to induce IL-2 production. In this report, we studied the differential effects of staurosporin (a PKC inhibitor) and genistein (a PTK inhibitor) on the IL-2 production by EL-4 and A2.5 cells, to determine which pathway is responsible for IL-1 receptor signal transduction. While staurosporin suppressed the IL-2 production induced in EL-4 cells upon PMA stimulation but not upon PHA plus IL-1, genistein inhibited the IL-2 production induced by PHA plus IL-1 but not by PMA. Genistein also completey abrogated the IL-2 production by A2.5 cell when stimulated with PHA and IL-1. These results suggest that the costimulatory signal by IL-1, which leads to IL-2 production and proliferation, is closely linked to the PTK activity in T cells.
