Hot Deformation Characteristics and Processing Map Analysis of Pre-Forged AZ80 Magnesium Alloy

The hot deformation behavior of pre-forged AZ80 magnesium alloy is investigated by the isothermal compression tests attemperatures of 523–683 K and strain rates of 0.0001–0.1 s−1, and analyzed by the processing maps for guiding isothermaldie forging. Flow localization and even cracking occurs at low temperatures and high strain rates, where shear deformationdegree shows a positive correlation with the ��( ̇�� ) value. Two stability regions with high efficiency is found out by theprocessing maps. At common stability region with high temperatures and low strain rates, peak power dissipation efficiencydoes not represent optimum deformation condition as reported in other materials. A Z parameter criterion is introduced forparameters optimization. javascript:void(0); a new stability domain of 523–590 K and 0.0001–0.01 s−1 is observed, which istypical for fine microstructure composed of equiaxed clean α-Mg grains and big particles both about 1 μm (573 K/0.01 s−1).Super plasticity is speculated to occur at that condition.

It is one of the most economical method of Soil stabilization works to compact soil, which increases soil density artificially. The result obtained in this study on the effect that optimum moisture content and plastic Linit, natural moisture content, influence upon the maximum dry density effort 36 Samples are Summarized as follows. 1. The bigger the maximum dry density is, the smaller the optimum moisture content is, on the other hand, the smaller the maximum dry density is, the bigger the optimum moisture content is, ingeneral. 2. There is a relation which is rdmax=1/[0.00895(OMC+44.73)] between the maximum dry density and the optimum moisture content, namely, the maximum dry density is increased in propertion to decrease of the optimum moisture content. 3. There is a relation which is OMC=0.438+0.395 PL and OMC=42.30-1.20Wn 4. There are relation to be the straightline which the maximum dry density decrease, on the other hand, The optimum moisture content increase in accordance with enlargement of Atter berg Limit (LL.PL.PI) in compacted soils.

In order to investigate the effects of moisture content and compaction energy on the unconfined compressive strength of soil-cement mixtures, a labortory test for soil-cement mixtures was performed at three levels of cement content, five levels of moisture content and six levels of compaction energy. The results are summarized as follows: 1. The unconfined compressive strength of soil-cement mixtures was increased with the compaction energy increased. The increase of unconfined compressive strength was clearly observed until the compaction number became twenty-five, and also the effect of compaction was remarkable when cement content was in high level. 2. The maximum unconfined compressive strength was observed when moisture content of the soil-cement mixtures was higher than the optimum moisture content. 3. The effect of compaction was more conspicuously observed in the case which moisture content was higher than the optimum. 4. The specific gravity of soil-cement mixtures was almost proportionally increased until cement content was increased to 8 percent, but it was kept approximately constant at the cement content of above 8 percent.

급성 심근염환자에서 발행한 완전 방실차단을 영구 심장박동 조율기로 치료한 1예를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Myocarditis, an inflammatory process involving the myocardal wall, may be caused by most infectious agents. Irrespective of its etiology, it presents commonly with evidence of heart failure, hypotension, and various electrocardiographic abnormalities. Patient with myocarditis may be asymptomatic or may have a rapidly progressive fatal disease. Medical management of patients with myocarditis includes specific therapy for underlying infection and control of the complication of myocarditis such as congestive heart failure and arrhythmia. Recently we had experienced myocarditis with complete atrioventricular block in 37-year-old man. Although he had shown complete recovery of heart failure, he had shown complete atrioventricular block, so we inserted permanent pacemaker. We report it with review of the literature.

This was studied to investigate the usage and the custom wark on the actual condition of agricultural machinaries in chinju area, 195 farmhouses using agricultural machinaries were chosen for this purpose. Agricultural machinaries taken were power tiller, thresher and barely thresher which were generaly utilized and supplied in Korea at present. Resuts abtained were as follows. 1. Agricultural machinaries especially thresher and barely thresher were used as a custom work. 2. The custom work was used by the small farmhouse which were managed with small area of farm land. 3. The custom work rate of thresher, barely thresher and power tiller were different from the age of farmers. Most old farmers kept the high rate of the custom work of thresher and barely thresher, but young farmers who were about 30 years old kept the high rate of power tiller. 4. The rate of custom work were also different from farmer's educational level. Farmers below the primary school level kept the high rate of the ovstom work of and barely thresher, farmers aound the middle school level kept the high rate of custom work of power tiller. On the other hand the rate of custom work of power tiller were decreased above the high school level. 5. The less farmers had the average land per person of family, the more they used the custom work.

Meta-analyses have shown that microRNA polymorphisms have variable effects in different population. Yet, no meta-analysis investigated the association of two common polymorphisms of miRNA, mir-499 rs3746444 polymorphism and mir-149 rs2292832 polymorphism, with cancer risk in the Chinese population. We searched the PubMed, Web of Knowledge, MEDLINE, CNKI databases, as well as Cochrane library, updated on December 31, 2012 for assays regarding cancer risk association with these two common polymorphisms in the present meta-analysis. Odds ratios (ORs) and 95% confidence intervals (95% CIs) were used to explore the strength of associations. The results showed that rs3746444 polymorphism was associated with increased cancer risk (dominant model: GG/AG vs. AA: OR = 1.43, 95% CI: 1.14-1.80; recessive model: GG vs. AG/AA: OR = 1.54, 95% CI: 1.04-2.30; homozygote model: GG vs. AA: OR = 1.69, 95% CI: 1.10-2.60; heterozygote model: AG vs. AA: OR = 1. 35, 95% CI: 1.09-1.67), and rs3746444 was associated with liver cancer in the subgroup of cancer types. For the rs2292832 polymorphism, the results showed no significant risk association in both overall pooled analysis and subgroup of cancer types, smoking status, gender and tea drinking status in the Chinese population. This meta-analysis suggested that the rs3746444 GG genotype is associated with increased cancer risk, especially liver cancer, while the rs2292832 polymorphism showed no association with cancer risk in Chinese.

With 30 excisting reservoirs in the Chin-Young area, the Sedimentation of the reservoirs has been calculated by comparing the present capacity with the original value, which revealed its reduced reservoir capacity. The reservoirs has a total drainage area of 3l4l ha, with a total capacity of 43.23 ha-m, and are short of water supply due to reduction of reservoir capacity, Annual sedimentation in the reservoir is relation to the drainage area, the mean of annual rainfall, and the slop of drainage area. The results of obtained from the investigation are summarized as follows: (1) A Sediment deposition rate is high, being about 7.03㎥/ha of drainage area, and resulting in the overage decrease of reservoir capacity by 16.1%. This high rate of deposition coule be mainly attributed to the serve denudation of forests due to disorderly cuttings of tree. (2) An average unit storageof 116mm as the time of initial construction is decreased to 95.6mm at present. This phenomena cause a greater storage of irrigation water, sinceit was assumed that original storage quantity itself was already in short. (3) A sediment deposition rate as a relation to the capacity of unit drainge area is as follow: Qs=1.27(C/A)<sup>0.6</sup> and standard deviation is 185.5㎥/㎢/year. (4) A sediment deposition rate as a relation to the mean of annual rainfall is as follow: Qs=21.9p<sup>10.5</sup> and the standard deviation is 364.8㎥/㎢/year. (5) A sediment deposition rate as a relation to the mean slop of drainage area is follow: Qs=39.6S<sup>0.75</sup> and the standard deviation is 190.2㎥/㎢/year (6) Asediment deposition rate as a relation to the drainage area, mean of rainfall, mean of slope of drainage area is: Log Qs=0.197+0.108LogA-6.72LogP+2.20LogS and the standard deviation is 92.4㎥/㎢/year
