In the telecommunication network traffic information is used for improving present utilization by means of efficient operation of switching facilities and for designing economical telephone network by means of forecasting the future trends. Various kinds of software developed and added to the AUTRAX System, which is designed for automatic measurement, to accomplish a complete traffic information systems. For the use of traffic information to design the future telephone network, some mathematical models, which are derived for calculation of point to point traffic estimation and forecasting of future traffic distribution, were studied. Some computer programs for several models were developed and implemented.
펄스폭제어방식을 이용한 Switching Regulator에 관한 연구

본 논문에서는 Switching Regulator 내의 PWM 시스템에서의 위상지연과 스위칭소자의 지연에 의한 위상지연을 고찰하였고 출력필터의 연속전류모드와 불연속전류모드의 궤환에 의한 시스템의 특성을 분석하였다. 또한 Surge에 의한 Normal mode 잡음과 Ground 잡음전류에 의한 Common mode spike 잡음의 원인을 분석하고 그 대책을 강구하였으며 실제 스위칭 레귤레이터의 제작에 필요한 회로구성과 소자의 선정요건을 고찰하여 효율 82.6%, spike 잡음 10mvp-p 이내의 안정되고 특성이 우수한 레귤레이터를 설계하였다. The phase shift in PWM System due to the time delay in the switching elements has been studied. Employing the normal model, various performance characteristics of the converter for both continuous current operation and discontinuous current operation are compared. The normal mode noise generated by surge and common mode noise generated by ground noise current have been studied. To decrease the noise, several methods are introduced. Hardware circuits are built and in experimental measurements, it shows a high efficiency of 82.6% and low spike noise of 10mv p-p max.

The current study provides an efficient method connecting the free-selected terminal among the divergent terminals, which may fit best in the various business operation characteristics, to existing host computer. More specifically, the review of network components has been made to control interface between the computer and the terminal of different type, and the analysis of NETWORK PROTOCOL controlling interface also has been made. For the better compatibility, the modification has been made between the host computer and the terminal of different type to operate properly in the general-purpose NETWORK PROTOCOL which differ from the existing host computer.
Improvement of Dynamic Respiration Monitoring Through Sensor Fusion of Accelerometer and Gyro-sensor

In this paper, we suggest a method to improve the fusion of an accelerometer and gyro sensor by using a Kalman filter to produce a more high-quality respiration signal to supplement the weakness of using a single accelerometer. To evaluate our proposed algorithm's performance, we developed a chest belt-type module. We performed experiments consisting of aerobic exercise and muscular exercises with 10 subjects. We compared the derived respiration signal from the accelerometer with that from our algorithm using the standard respiration signal from the piezoelectric sensor in the time and frequency domains during the aerobic and muscular exercises. We also analyzed the time delay to verify the synchronization between the output and standard signals. We confirmed that our algorithm improved the respiratory rate's detection accuracy by 4.6% and 9.54% for the treadmill and leg press, respectively, which are dynamic. We also confirmed a small time delay of about 0.638 s on average. We determined that real-time monitoring of the respiration signal is possible. In conclusion, our suggested algorithm can acquire a more high-quality respiration signal in a dynamic exercise environment away from a limited static environment to provide safer and more effective exercises and improve exercise sustainability.

<P>BACKGROUND/AIMS: This study was performed to determine the efficacy of histone deacetylase inhibitors in gastric cancer, together with other established regimens. METHODOLOGY: The chemosensitivities of 93 gastric cancer patients to established drugs, and three histone deacetylase inhibitors (SAHA, PXD101, and a novel candidate, CG-2) were evaluated using the histoculture drug response assay. RESULTS: Tumor growth inhibition rates were the highest with cisplatin, followed by PXD101, taxol, docetaxel, and TS-1, in descending order. The response rates were 41.9-68.8%, and 37.6-47.3%, respectively, at an inhibition rate cutoff value of 30%. Synergistic activity was evident with most combinations of established drugs and histone deacetylase inhibitors. Diffuse- or mixed-type carcinomas on Lauren classification were closely associated with increased chemosensitivity to TS-1 (p = 0.044). Node-positive and 'other than tubular type' tumors on WHO classification were chemosensitive to cisplatin (p = 0.011 and 0.014, respectively). CG-2 chemosensitivity was markedly associated with low preoperative CA724 level (< or = 4 U/ml) (p = 0.046). CONCLUSIONS: This in vitro chemosensitivity assay validates the comparable chemo-response of gastric cancers to histone deacetylase inhibitors and established drugs, indicating considerable therapeutic efficacy of these agents. Additionally, a number of clinicopathological parameters are significantly associated with specific regimens.</P>
