        Since the floor structural systems are repeated over the height of building, a large amount of materials and a great deal of workmanship are required if effective systems are not provided, The previous study(1)(2)(3) developed the post-tensioned precast concrete system(PPS), consists of wide beams with U-shaped precast beam and concrete column, and carried out the experimental study about the estimation of PPS capacity against the earthquake. However, the experimental study in accordance with the representativeness of the whole structure couldn't completely understand the behavior of the whole structure, and have a little lack of presenting the design method. This study is to perform an case study on the behavior of the whole structure, and seismic capability. As a results, PPS system which apply the precast concrete structure and post-tensioned method is to present a sufficient ability of the structural performance against the earthquake and the vibration

        This study has made a comparative analysis of the sport for all sports-lovers organizations of the advanced countries and those of Daegu Metropolitan City through the study of the literature using the previous studies and the examination of the literature and has aimed to present the ways to activate the sport for all sports-lovers organizations. The following conclusions have been drawn: First, it is necessary to strengthen the support by making the National Council of Sport for All a legal body. Second, it is necessary to put the systems in good order in terms of policies in order to elevate the concern about and the participation in sport for all sports. Third, it is necessary to make up for the weak points of the systems in limiting and restraining the events to support in the regulations of the extent of the events of the sport for all sports for the sake of the sport for all sports-lovers and for the creation of new clubs. Fourth, it is necessary to promote the regular exchanges between sports-lovers in order to strengthen the entities of the sports-lovers clubs, and it is important to activate the league systems by the events by putting together the sports-lovers clubs in the neighboring areas.

      • 담수표면 직파재배 펠렛종자의 파종 및 초기생육 특성

        In spite of labor saving in rice cultivation, the main factors preventing the enlargement of the direct wet seeding culture are unstable seedling establishment and greater susceptibility to lodging. In order to solve these problems, developed rice-seed pellets were investigated on sowing and early growth characteristics of seed pellet. Seed shifting, flooding seedling, and lodging of seeding percentage of pellet seed were lover than pregerminated or dry seed. Soil thickness covering seed of pellet seed was 2 ㎜ and shifting width of seed of that was 1.5 ㎝. Establishment percentage of pellet seed was the highest in 0 ㎝ of seeding depth. Early plant height, root length, number of leaf and root of pellet seed with seeding time were similar to those of dry seed.

      • SnO₂/Si 移種接合 太陽電池 特性에 관한 硏究

        In this study, the SnO_2/(n)Si solar cell was fabricated by electron beam evaporation method, and their properties were investigated. Also the resistivity and optical transmission of SnO_2 thin film were measured, and the relations between this results and solar cell characteristics were considered, and the following conclusions were obtained. (1) In proportion to increase of substrate and annealing temperature, the conductivity of SnO_2 thin film becomes increasing, but its optical transmission decreases because of increasing optical absorption of free electrons in the thin film. (2) Solar cell characteristics were improved by annealing. But the SnO_2/Si solar cell was deteriorted by heat treatment above 500℃. (3) The optimal outputs of SnO_2/Si solar cell through above investigation were V_sc: 350mV, I_∝: mA/㎠, FF : 0.41, η=4.74%

      • 그람양성균 감염에 대한 Teicoplanin의 임상적 효과

        Backgrounds: Gram-positive cocci have been an increasing cause of nosocomial infections in recent years. Treatment of these infections is often difficult, particularly infections by methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). Teicoplanin, a new glycopeptide antibiotic, has been reported to have an excellent in vitro and in vivo effect against various gram-positive infections. To evaluate the clinical efficacy of teicoplanin in the treatment of patients with gram-positive bacterial infection and to compare the in vitro susceptibility of teicoplanin with other antimicrobials, we performed a prospective open trial of teicoplanin. Methods: Twenty patients with infections by gram-positive organism were enrolled. The patients were received 400mg of teicoplanin followed by 200 mg from next day as maintenance dose. During the follow-up period, clinical features and laboratory parameters were ckecked to evaluate clinical efficacy and appropriate cultures were followed to determine the microbiologic efficacy. The adverse effects of teicoplanin were also observed. Results: The enrolled patients were 16 males and 4 females, whose mean age was 51±13 years. The categories of infections were bacteremia (5), skin and soft tissue infection (4), empyema (3), UTI (2), pneumonia (1), catheter associated infection (1) and infective endocarditis (1). The etiologic organisms isolated were MRSA (9), coagulase-negative Staphlycoccus (5), S. viridans (2), group D streptococcus (2), S. pneumoniae (1), and E. faecalis (1). All 20 patients treated with teicoplanin showed clinical cure (13/20) or clinical improvement (7/20), whereas 90% of isolated organisms were eradicated after teicoplanin therapy. The adverse effect of teicoplanin was minimal. Conclusion: Teicoplanin is safe and effective in the therapy of many different infections caused by gram-positive oragnisms.

      • Indium 添加된 CdS/(p)Si 異種接合 太陽電池의 製造 및 特性에 관한 硏究

        In this study, the CdS/(p)Si solar cell was fabricated by electron-beam evaporation method, and their properties were investigated. Also the resistivity and optical transmission of CdS thin film were measured. The relation between this results and solar cell characteristics was considered, and came to as follow conclusion. 1. CdS this film is the polycrystalline in direction of (002), and has the hexagonal structure. In proportion to increase of substrate and annealing temperature, the optical band gap, and therefore the photo-transmittance in the absorption edge increases, while conductivity above the critical conditions decreases. 2. In proportion to Indium concentration, the resistivity of CdS thin film is the lowest when Indium concentration is 2[wt%]. In the photo-transmittance for the whole visible light, when the concentration is 2 [wt%], Burstein- Moss shift is the largest. 3. I_SC, V_OC FF, η, display the maximum value when the annealing temperture is at 350[℃]. 4. The characterisitcs of solar cells, that is I_SC V_OC FF, η, fabricated by mixture with In, somewhat more increases than those which is not mixed with. 5. In the optimal conditions the I-V characterisitics of the fabricated CdS/(p)Si solar cells shows as follows. V_OC:450[mV], I_SC:11.5[mA/㎠'], FF:0.475, η:4.92[%]

        Proteomic Analysis of Cellular and Membrane Proteins in Fluconazole-Resistant <i>Candida glabrata</i>

        <P><B>Objectives</B></P><P><I>Candida glabrata</I> is one of the most common causes of <I>Candida</I> bloodstream infections worldwide. Some isolates of <I>C glabrata </I>may be intermediately resistant to azoles, with some strains developing resistance during therapy or prophylaxis with fluconazole. In this study, we used a proteomic approach to identify differentially expressed proteins between fluconazoleresistant and -susceptible strains.</P><P><B>Methods</B></P><P>Membrane and cellular proteins were extracted from fluconazolesusceptible and fluconazole-resistant <I>C glabrata </I>strains. Differentially expressed proteins were compared using two-dimensional sodium dodecyl sulfate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. Proteins with >1.5-fold difference in expression were identified by liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS).</P><P><B>Results</B></P><P>A total of 65 proteins were differentially expressed in the cellular and membrane fractions. Among the 39 cellular proteins, 11 were upregulated and 28 were downregulated in fluconazole-resistant strains in comparison with fluconazole-susceptible strains. In the membrane fraction, a total of 26 proteins were found, of which 19 were upregulated and seven were downregulated. A total of 31 proteins were identified by LC-MS/MS that are involved in glycolysis, carbohydrate transport, energy transfer, and other metabolic pathways. Heat shock proteins were identified in various spots.</P><P><B>Conclusion</B></P><P>Heat shock and stress response proteins were upregulated in the membrane fraction of the fluconazole-resistant <I>C glabrata </I>strain. Compared with susceptible strains, fluconazole-resistant strains showed increased expression of membrane proteins and decreased expression of cellular proteins.</P>

        Development of a Traceability Analysis Method Based on Case Grammar for NPP Requirement Documents Written in Korean Language

        Software inspection is widely believed to be an effective method for software verification and validation (V&V). However, software inspection is labor-intensive and, since it uses little technology, software inspection is viewed upon as unsuitable for a more technology-oriented development environment. Nevertheless, software inspection is gaining in popularity. KAIST Nuclear I&C and Information Engineering Laboratory (NICIEL) has developed software management and inspection support tools, collectively named "SIS-RT. "SIS-RT is designed to partially automate the software inspection processes. SIS-RT supports the analyses of traceability between a given set of specification documents. To make SIS-RT compatible for documents written in Korean, certain techniques in natural language processing have been studied [9]. Among the techniques considered, case grammar is most suitable for analyses of the Korean language [3]. In this paper, we propose a methodology that uses a case grammar approach to analyze the traceability between documents written in Korean. A discussion regarding some examples of such an analysis will follow.
