The up-to-date small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Korea have tried to respond flexibly and rapidly to dynamic business environment and to establish efficient production management system based on information technologies. However, most of SMEs have faced with low applicability of the production management system resulting from high costs of introduction and maintenance. In this paper, a production planning and control system, that is S-PMS (production management system for SMEs), is proposed to solve the problem of low applicability and limited human resources. S-PMS enables production managers to efficiently collect and manage master data with the actual target production systems and explores the bottleneck process by means of simulation techniques to improve productivity. Furthermore, it implements rescheduling mechanism in terms of a variety of process routes. In essence, intuitive dispatching rules and integrated data management of S-PMS improve field applicability of production management system. Consequently, S-PMS is expected to be used as an efficient production management system of SMEs in Korea.

Background/Aims: After cholecystectomy, patients have reported postcholecystectomic syndromes such as abdominal symptoms, dyspepsia, and diarrhea, which suggest a relationship between cholecystectomic symptoms and diet, although the details of this association remain unclear. The present study investigated the hypothesis that dietary intake of nutrients and foods was significantly associated with postcholecystectomic syndromes. Methods: Gallstone patients (n = 59) who underwent laparoscopic cholecystectomy were enrolled, and dietary intake and clinical parameters were assessed immediately postcholecystectomy and 3 months later. Results: There were no significant differences in biochemical measurements or characteristics between symptomatic and asymptomatic patients. Immediately postcholecystectomy, there were no significant differences in consumption of nutrients or foods between symptomatic and asymptomatic patients. However, 3 months after cholecystectomy, symptomatic patients consumed more animal protein, cholesterol, and eggs, and fewer vegetables than did asymptomatic patients. Multivariable-adjusted regression analyses also indicated that the risk for symptoms was positively associated with intake of animal protein, cholesterol, and eggs, but negatively associated with intake of vegetables after adjusting for confounders. In addition, symptomatic patients consumed more bread-based breakfast foods, while asymptomatic patients consumed more rice. Conclusions: Postcholecystectomic syndromes were positively associated with intake of cholesterol, animal protein, and eggs, and negatively associated with intake of vegetables, suggesting that diet was plays a role in postcholecystectomic syndromes.

연구자가 국가R&D 과제에서 발생한 여러 종류의 연구성과를 등록하기 위하여 9대 연구성과전담기관의 시스템에 각각 접속하여 로그인하고 연구성과 정보를 입력해야 하는 불편이 있었다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 불편을 해소하고 등록된 연구성과를 종합적으로 확인하여 연구성과를 한 번에 파악할 수 있도록 구현한 연구성과 등록 일원화 서비스 개발 사례를 살펴보고 연구성과 정보의 동기화 프로세스와 시스템 상시 모니터링 등의 개선 사항을 제시하였다. 이를 통해 서비스의 안정적인 운영과 연구성과 등록 지원 서비스로 발전할 것으로 기대된다.
Preliminary Study on the Numerical Analysis of Pulverized Coal Combustion

The world consumption of the coal has been increased very sharply during past few years result from oil exhaustion, fluctuation in the price of oil and low price competitiveness of alternative energy. The International Energy Agency (IEA) has estimated that coal will be available for over 110 years, with coal reserves of close to 860 billion tons. The pulverized coal is blended coal powder that the particle diameter under 10μm. It has advantage of combustion efficiency and flame stabilization. The use of coal blends is becoming increasingly common in pulverized-coal power plants because it improves the economic performance of these plants by diversifying the fuel range. However, although blending can improve combustion behaviors and decrease gaseous pollutant emissions, it has difficulty of design and operating the pulverized coal combustor because despite the small particle size, combustion process of pulverized coal is exceedingly complex. Because of that the detail study on the combustion characteristic is important for increasing of efficiency. As a base investigation for numerical calculation of pulverized coal combustion, this study verified validity of models and compare the numerical calculation results with the experimental results.

<P>Here we report the spontaneous formation of switchable sheets in aqueous solution, which is based on bent-shaped aromatic amphiphiles containing <I>m</I>-pyridine units at the terminals and a hydrophilic dendron at the apex. The aromatic segments self-assemble into flat sheets consisting of a zigzag conformation through π–π stacking interactions. Notably, the sheets reversibly transform into helical tubules at higher concentration and into discrete dimeric macrocycles at a lower concentration in response to Ag(I) ions through reversible coordination interactions between the pyridine units of the aromatic segments and the Ag(I) ions. FRP 보강판 부착 콘크리트에서 유도초음파 모드 거동에 대한 접착층의 영향

본 연구에서는 FRP 보강판 부착 콘크리트에서의 유도초음파 기본 모드의 전파 특성에 부착제인 epoxy의 두께와 물성이 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였으며, 이를 위해 FRP-epoxy-concrete로 구성된 다층 유도초음파 시스템을 모델링하고 모드 해석을 수행하였다. Epoxy 층의 두께와 탄성계수를 변수로 하여 해석을 수행한 결과, A0 모드에 비해 S0 모드가 epoxy 층의 두께와 탄성계수 변화에 큰 영향을 받으며, 이로부터 경계층인 Epoxy 층의 상태 평가에는 A0 모드에 비해 S0 모드가 유효하리라는 결론을 얻었다. In this study, effects of bonding agent, e.g. epoxy, on the behavior of fundamental guided wave modes propagated in FRP plate bonded on a concrete, are investigated. Global matrix model of multilayered FRP-epoxy-concrete system was constructed to obtain the velocity and attenuation dispersion curves of the fundamental A0 and S0 modes. Two variables, thickness and elastic modulus of epoxy layer, were considered in the dispersion analysis. It was found that both the thickness and the elastic modulus of epoxy layer greatly affect the phase velocity and attenuation of S0 mode while those are negligible for A0 mode. Based on the results, it was concluded that S0 mode is more effective than A0 mode for bonding condition assessment for FRP plate bonded concrete.
