      • 忠南地域 屠畜豚의 肺病變으로부터 分離한 Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae의 生物學的 및 免疫學的 特性

        An epidemiologic study on pleuropneumonia in the slaughter pigs(Chonan and Asan area, Chungnam province, Korea) during the period of January 1994 through December 1995 was conducted. Isolation of A. pleuropneumoniae was attempted in 425 pigs with pneumonic lesions. Biochemical properties, antimicrobial susceptibility, serotypes and pathogenicity of A. pleuropneumoniae isolates were investigated. In addition, outer membrane protein(OMP) of the isolates were extracted to determine its properties and immunogenicity in both mice and piglets. Of 3,395 slaughter pigs, pleuropneumonia was observed in 425 pigs(10.6%). A. pleuropneumoniae was isolated from 22 pigs(5.2%) out of 425 pigs with pneumonic lesions. The biochemical properties of all isolates were same as those of reference A. pleuropneumoniae strain. Among 22 isolates, 9, 1 and 12 isolates were serovar 2, 3 and 5, respectively. The results of antimicrobial susceptibility test revealed that the isolates showed high susceptibility to ciprofloxacin and cephalothin, moderate susceptibility to amikacin, gentamicin, kanamycin and streptomycin, and low susceptibility to erythromycin, tylosin and sulfadimethoxin. The isolates were varied in pathogenicity to mice. Median lethal dose of LE9402(serovar 2) and LE9511(serovar 5) were 9.2×10^7CFU and 2.8×10^7CFU, respectively. Specific pneumonic lesions were observed from the infected mice with clinical signs. Bacteria recovery rate was high in the lung, but low in heart blood and tracheas. Serovar 2 was found to be more pathogenic than serovar 5 in guinea pig. Mortality on guinea pigs inoculated with serovar 2(5.4×10^8 - 5.4×10^6CFU) abd serovar 5(2.8×10^8 - 2.8×10^6CFU) was 20-40% and 40-80%, respectively. A severe hemorrhagic lesions and focal pneumonic lesions were observed from dead guinea pigs. Bacteria recovery rate was relatively higher in the lung than that of other organs. In the SDS-PAGE analysis, OMP-enriched fractions of both isolates and reference strains contain common peptide bands equivalent to molecular weight of 17, 27, 42, 52 and 95Kd. In addition to common peptide bands, the bands which are specific to each isolate were also observed. The profiles of Sephadex G25 fractions showed 3 major peaks. The common peptide bands which were observed by SDS-PAGE of the crude OMPs were found i the peaks 1 and 2. The OMPs extracted from serovar 2(LE9402) and serovar 5(LE9511) provided high level of protection in mice(70-80%) and pigs(100%). All animals inoculated with OMPs were seroconverted, showing micro-agglutination titer of 640 to 1280.

        쇄골 골절에서 지연성 상완 신경총 마비 : 1예 보고 A Case Report

        상완 신경총 마비는 쇄골 골절 후에 매우 드물게 발생하며, 대부분 많은 가골 형성을 동반한 쇄골의 중간1/3 부위 골절 불유합에서 발생한다. 골절의 치유 과정에서 과형성된 가골이 상완 신경총을 압박할 수 있으며, 감압술고 불유합에 대한 수술적 치료를 필요로 한다. 이에 저자들은 쇄골 골절 후 불유합과 과도한 가골 형성에 의해 발생된 지연성 상완 신경총 마비 환자를 치험 하였기에 보고하는 바이다. The brachial plexus palsies secondary to nonunion of the clavicle fracture are extremely rare. The nonunions are hypertrophic and usually in the middle third of the clavicle. Hypertrophic callus produced healing process will cause a compression of the neurovascular bundle. This lesion requires operative treatment for decompression of the brachial plexus and internal fixation of nonunion. We present a case of delayed brachial plexus palsy due to nonunion and excessive callus formation of a clavicular fracture.

      • 순환식 중공사막 접촉기를 이용한 이산화탄소의 분리 및 회수

        To investigate separation and collection behavior of CO₂by circulatory hollow fiber membrane contactors, pemeation experiments for absorption and desorption were carried out with various system parameters: absorption of CO₂in one membrane contactor and desorption of CO₂in another membrane contactor. Pure water and potassium carbonate aqueous solutions were used as an absorbent. The pemeation rate of CO₂increase either with the increment of the flow rate of absorbent or with the increment of the gas flow rate. The pemeation rate of CO₂increases with the increment of the degree of the vacuum in the desorption contactor. The pemeation rate of CO₂is found to be 11.54×10 moles/sec at 50 torr and 6.65×10 moles/sec at 100 torr. It is noted that the liquid absorbent could be circulated and reused after desorption of carbon dioxide. As the number of recirculation fo the absorbent increases, the desorption rate decreases and converges.

      • 사과원의 초생재배에 관한연구

        We studied on the sod culture at apple orchard from 1968 to 1970. The results obtained can be summarized as follows; 1. There was no difference in the soil temperature between 20 and 40cm. In the sod lopt. But the change of soil temperature in the control plot was remarkable. 2. It was showed that the moisture content was a average 44.7% in sod polt, and 41.0% in control plot. In Weed plot its content was 49.1%. It showed the highest content among sod plots. Comparing this result with first and second year experiment, there was difference meaningly in the soil moisture but no striking difference between third and second year xpeeriment. Soil moisture content was maintained nearly the same amounts after two years from the experiment. 3. Sods produced was 34.5㎏/10m in Weed plot while in orchard grass plot was 15.0㎏/10m. 4. Root elongation of apple tree was 58.3㎝/year in Ladino clover plot, 32.9㎝./year in Weed plot in turn. 5. Shoot elongation of apple tree was 57.6㎝./year (in Ladino clover plot, 57.5㎝./year) in weed plot and 48.8㎝./year in control plot. Shorter by 9㎝. than weed plot. 6. N.P˙ and K. content in the apple leaf was satisfied for the tree growth, and CaO and MgO were also satisfied. During August when fruit and flowed buds are developing, these elements were reduced somewhat. 7. Organic materials are increased at sod plots than control plot. By accumulation of sod in the soil, organic materials and MgO were increased. Ladino clover and Weed plots were 1.09% and 1.04% in MgO element respectively by high amounts of sod production.

      • 졸-겔법에 의한 Mullite 코팅막의 제조 및 특성에 관한 연구

        출발원료로 알루미늄 세크 부톡사이드(ASB)와 테트라 에톡시실란(TEOS)을 사용하는 졸-겔법에 의해 뮬라이트 조성의 졸 용액을 제조하고, 지지체 표면위에 침지 시간의 변화에 따라 코팅을 실시하였다. 그 결과 뮬라이트 결정화를 위해서는 1,300℃이상의 열처리 조건으로 균열 없는 뮬라이트 코팅막을 제조하는 것이 가능하였으며 침지시간에 따라 코팅막의 두께가 선형적으로 증가하고 평균 기공의 크기는 20∼30Å까지 기공 제어가 가능하였다. Optimal Mullite sol was synthesized by sol-gel process using Aluminium sec-butoxide(ASB), Tetraethoxy-silane(TEOS) and then, Mullite films were dip-coated with various holding time in sol bath and heat-treated at 1300℃ above for crystallization. The thickness of coated film increased linearly with holding time in sol bath and average pore size was controllable within 20-30Å.

        This work researched the treatment characterization of paper mill waste water for Biological Aerated Filter (BAF)system. BAF process is ideal for reclamation and reuse of wastewater. It features excellent removal of organic matter and SS, Especially. it is easy maintain and achieves energe-saving and space-conservation when compared to conventionnal activated sludge method. This study resulted that upflow BAF system showed superior treatment efficiency to downflow one. The removal efficiencies of BOD, COD, SS were 85%, 80, 90%, respectively.

      • 원격탐사 데이터의 분석을 통한 레이다 클러터 모델 연구

        본 논문에서는 주파수, 입사각, 전파 편향 등에 따른 클러터 데이터를 수집하고 이를 바탕으로, 이론적, 실험적 클러터 모델과 원격탐사 모델을 비교 분석하였다. 그리고 육지와 바다에 대한 원격탐사 모델을 클러터 영역으로 extrapolation하여 클러터 모델로의 적용 가능성을 제시하였다. 검토된 원격탐사 모델 중에서 선형적 데이터 피팅 특성을 갖는 Moore 모델은 low grazing angle에서 세부 표적별로 상세한 클러터 특성을 예측하는데 사용될 수 있으며, 해양에서는 균일한 바다 특성으로 인하여 그대로 사용될 수 있음을 보였다. 원격탐사 데이터베이스를 클러터 영역까지 적용하기 위해서는 단순한 data-fitting만으로는 불충분하며, 지구 곡률 반경의 영향, 지형 거칠기 효과, 대기 상태 등의 물리적 해석이 뒷받침되어야 한다. In this paper, we have comparatively analysed the radar clutter models and remote sensing models based on the collection of available remote sensing data base. The possibility of extrapolation of remote sensing models onto the radar clutter region is presented to obtain simplified clutter models, taking the advantage of abundant data base of remote sensing field. Moore model, linear data-fitting model, is found to be used in predicting clutter characteristics for detailed land targets and ocean clutter return even in low grazing angle. The application of remote sensing models for radar clutter models requires the explanation of various physical effects of, for examples, the earth curvature, earth roughness, the state of atmosphere.

        노후공동주택의 거주성능평가요소에 관한 연구

        This study aims to propose the comprehensive evaluation of Performance multi-family housing. Most of the existing studies for the reproduction have evaluated the deterioration by the safety of structure. Therefore those pass over the functional factors which is important for the evaluation of residential qualities. This study represents that the reproduction renovation should not be secured the safety of structure but established the quality of life. And questionnaire asking expert's opinion also supplemented. As a result, the item for examination and the weight for evaluation are suggested in functional deterioration. The results of this study are summarized as follows: 1. Existent redevelopment criteria are not appropriate to decide the environmental comfort, the vital function of housing and the residential management finance. 2. The future criteria have to evaluate the existing environmental comfort, be reconstructed to put first general deterioration. 3. Evaluation elements was extracted throughout the document research. evaluation elements analysis system was separated in residential area, suburb of dwellings, community, and housing complexity environmental assesment. 4. Each category of influence ratio was extracted to assess total deterioration throughout the expert question survey. 5. Each category analysed : ① 0~30%: function is good (unnecessary to improve) ② 31~40%: average (necessary of partial improvement) ③ 41~59%: bad (necessary of total improvement) ④ 60~100%: the worst (unable to improve throughout the repair)

        The results of sod culture from 1968 to 1969 can be summarized as follows: 1) In weed plot, the average soil temperature was 21.2℃ under the Roll's janet tree while the average temperature of orchard grass plot was 22.3℃. Red clover plots under and immediately surrounding Jonathan tree had the highest average soil temperature. The average temperature was 2-3℃ lower during the second year than the first year. The temperature of the control plot was 1 to 2℃ higher than that of the sod plot. The soil moisture content beneath Roll's janet tree was 49.0%, while the moisture content beneath Jonathan tree was 44.4%, both of which represent an 8% increase over last year. At the same time the orchard grass plot had a higher soil moisture content than both Roll's janet and Jonathan. 2) The fresh weight of the sod produced was the highest in the Ladino clover plot at Roll's janet and Jonathan orchards, whose sod fresh weight were 110.6Kgr and 113.7Kgr respectively. The fresh weight increased three times this year over last year. 3) Shoot elongation was the longest in the Ladino clover plot at 86.1㎝ while the control plot which showed the longest elongation in 1968 was retarded severely in 1969. 4) Due to the cutting of the sod, N.P. and K were increased but after one month the total content of N.P.and K decreased because of absorption of these elements by the tree. 5) Organic materials were highest in the Ladino clover plot of both the Roll's janet and Jonathan orchards, 1.82% and 2.28%, about 0.5-1.0% higher than the control plot. * Sod culture was better than clean-tillage culture for the following reasons. 1) The soil temperature of the sod plot was higher than the control plot by 1-2℃. 2) The sod plot contained 8% more moisture than control plot. 3) Shoot elongation of the sod plot was longer than that of the control plot. 4) There was more N.P. and K in the sod plot than control plot. 5) There was 0.5-1.0% more organic materials in the sod plot than in the control plot. * Comparision of the results between the sod and weed plot: 1) The sod plot was 2-3% higher in moisture content than the weed plot. 2) The sod plot produced 10-30kgr more weight of sod than the weed plot. 3) Shoot elongation of the sod plot was 5-8㎝ longer than the weed plot. 4) N.P. and K elements were 0.5-1.0% higher in the sod plot than in the weed plot. 5) Accumulation of organic materials in the soil was 0.5-1.0% higher in the sod plot than in the weed plot.
