Photograph aesthetical evaluation has been widely investigated in these decades. The most used assessing methods are mainly classical data mining methods such as SVM, ANN(Artificial Neural Network), linear programming and so on. In this paper, we presented a method based on artificial neural network and deep learning methods which is also a hot research topic recently. We downloaded a medium and a large dataset from a well-known online photograph portal and trained on them. Results showed that the accuracy of classification was above 82.1%, which was better than all state-of-the-art methods as well as a moderate result from those methods never adopted up to now.

In this paper, fiber grating technology is used for accurately measure stresses, temperature and displacement. The paper introduces the basic principles of FBG technology and the wavelength demodulation method of FBG sensors, and put fiber grating technology into practical engineering projects. The paper design a optical fiber grating real-time automation monitoring system to distributed measure stress, temperature and displacement in geological disaster body, to provide effective technical supports for geological disaster prevention and mitigation.

Modern Chinese have monosyllabic nature. The nature based on monosyllabic unit of sound and meaning. Papers demonstrated the nature from three areas of the morpheme, the pats of speech andthe relationship between Chinese and Chinese character. The author notes that most morphemes of the modern Chinese are monosyllabic, morpheme played an important role in Chinese. Basis in various parts of speech is monosyllabic too. Chinese characters service for the monosyllabic nature and affect on the Chinese.
Reliability-based sensitivity of mechanical components with arbitrary distribution parameters

This paper presents a reliability-based sensitivity method for mechanical components with arbitrary distribution parameters. Techniques from the perturbation method, the Edgeworth series, the reliability-based design theory, and the sensitivity analysis approach were employed directly to calculate the reliability-based sensitivity of mechanical components on the condition that the first four moments of the original random variables are known. The reliability-based sensitivity information of the mechanical components can be accurately and quickly obtained using a practical computer program. The effects of the design parameters on the reliability of mechanical components were studied. The method presented in this paper provides the theoretic basis for the reliability-based design of mechanical components.
Fractional polynomial function in stochastic response surface method for reliability analysis

The explicit polynomial function can replace the actual limit state function for failure probability. In this study, the fractional order is introduced to an extended family of polynomial functions to guarantee a smooth relationship between the sample data and polynomial expression. The fractional polynomial method is proposed to establish the function and analyze the system’s reliability accurately and flexibly. Integer, fractional, positive, and negative orders are considered. The scope of orders, constraint conditions, and sampling method are investigated under different conditions of the proposed method. Furthermore, the calculation process for the fractional polynomial method when the approach is applied to a multivariable system is examined, and engineering examples are provided to illustrate the application of the proposed method. The fractional polynomial function can describe system performance and reliability with few terms and high accuracy. The results calculated by the proposed method agree with those from Monte Carlo simulation.
Reliability analysis of the traction unit of a shearer mechanism with response surface method

The paper presents a High order stochastic response surface method (HOSRSM) for reliability and reliability-based sensitivity analyses of transmission mechanism of a shearer in heavy and impulsive environments. Dynamic analysis is affected by several sources of uncertainty, and it is important to quantify their combined effect on performance of the mechanism in order to aid risk assessment, risk mitigation, and decision-making. A dynamic transmission model of the traction unit is established under the condition of low speed and impulsive load. A performance function is proposed to evaluate the system transmission accuracy. The effects of basic variables in HOSRSM are investigated on calculation efficiency and computation cost of system precision reliability. The results indicate that structure parameters of a sun gear are more sensitive than others. The tooth width is a more sensitive geometric parameter than the diameter of the center hole. The targets are proposed to manufacture and inspect the sun gear in traction unit for safety.

The paper proposes two different controllers for tracking control of a quadrotor. An Euler-Lagrange formulation is used to drive the dynamic mathematical model of a quadrotor. To illustrate the advantages of the proposed controllers and for simplicity, all the aerodynamics, Coriolis, drags and gyroscopic effect are abandoned. A PID controller with derivative filter is proposed for the position tracking of the quadrotor here. The advantage of the proposed PID controller include easiness of implementation, effectuate higher stability and less dependent on the system model. The integral sliding-mode controller is proposed to obtain the desired attitude angles for the quadrotor tracking and its advantage is unaffected by the system model errors. The designed controllers can stabilize the roll, pitch, and yaw angles and make the quadrotor to move (x; y; z) positions to their desired values. The Lyapunovs theorem is useful to obtain the quadrotor controllers and also ensure the system track to attain and maintain on the sliding surfaces. The validation of results has been tested in MATLAB simulation and exhibits adequate performance.

Antheraea pernyi and Bombyx mori silk fibres, the most important and the subjects of several studies, have attractedwidespread attention due to their exceptional mechanical properties and promising applications. However, the determinantsbehind the variations of mechanical property between these two fibres still remains unknown. In this paper, the nanocrystallinestructures of these two silk fibres were tuned by thermal treatment in order to understand how the structure affects themechanical properties of fibres. It has been found that, along with an increase in temperature for thermal treatment, theincrease in the intramolecular β-sheet leads to progressive increase in longitudinal modulus and radial hardness, whilst thereduction in crystallinity results in great reduction in breaking tensile strength. The yield strength is proportional to theaverage crystallite size which increases along with the annealing temperature. Compared to B. mori, A. pernyi silk fibres havemore obvious temperature-dependant structural changes. These findings explain how size effects can be exploited to createbioinspired materials with tuneable mechanical properties.
