Dance Therapy에 관한 이론적 고찰 : 정신질환자를 중심으로 Focus on Psychiatric Patients

Dance Therapy has its roots in the shamanistic tradition in which the roles of priest, medicine man, and emotional healer were all executed by one person. The capacity of rhythmic body action to provide a bridge between the conscious and unconscious world makes it a powerful tool with all populations. Those who need a way back into consciousness and those who need to explore a way into the world of symbolic expression can all benefit. Dance therapy is easily adaptable to almost any approach utilized in psychotherapy whether it can be an intensive care psychoanalytic sanatorium, outpatient community mental health center, special education facility, holistic health clinic, or private practice. Although the foundations are in neurophysiology and psychotherapy, the theory stresses the practical organizing of abilities which are needed in everyday life. The purpose of this study was to show a theoretical dance therapy. Especially, focus of this study was centered on therapeutic possibility of dance therapy based from body image of psychotic disease patients. From a theoretical study on dance therapy, the results of this research were as follows: 1. Dance therapy plays an important role in recognizing each part of body and inner-outer relationship of body. 2. Dance therapy helps the patients to express his own affect appropriately. 3. Dance therapy comes back the patients into society through nonlinguistic body movements.

6-(3.4-Dichlorophenyl)amino-7-chloro-5.8-quinolinedione (RCK50) was tested for antifungal activities in mice systemically infected with Candida albicans. The therapeutic potential of RCK50 was also assessed in comparison with ketoconazole. RCK50 had ED_50 0.22±0.01 ㎎/㎏. Ketoconazole as a positive control had ED_50 6.00±1.70 ㎎/㎏. Intraperitoneally administered RCK50 at the ED_50 for 7 days and 14 days reduced Candida albicans colony count in the kidneys and liver. And administered RCK50 at the ED_50 for 14 days improved survival rates. The genotoxicities of RCK50 had been evaluated. RCK50 was negative in Ames test with Salmonella typhimurium and chromosomal aberration test in CHL cells. RCK50 did not show any clastogenic effect in mouse peripheral blood and was negative in mouse micronucleus assay. These results indicate that RCK50 has no genotoxic potential under these experimental conditions. Acute oral toxicity studies of RCK50 were carried out in ICR mice of both sexes. RCK50 did not show acute oral toxicities and LD_50 values were over 2.850 ㎎/㎏ in ICR mice.
스포츠 자기 효능감(Self-Efficacy)에 관한 연구

This study reviewed some of the more current work in attribution and self-efficacy theories with respect to sports and physical activity and attempted to draw together the two approaches from a social-cognitive perspective. Reviews of self-efficacy and attribution theory currently exist in the literature, and the reader is directed to these works for a more detailed review of each area. The section on attribution theory focused on four broad categories of interest: methodology, causes of personal outcomes, objective versus subjective outcomes, and attribution-emotion relationship. In this study the basic tenets of Bandura's self-efficacy theory were outlined, and the general conclusion suggested that performance-based treatment modalities are the most powerful sorce of efficacy cognitions. Self-efficacy and causal attributions should be studies as interdependent rather than separate entitles. Self-efficacy beliefs are widely held to exert an important influence on human behavior across myriad domain. However, at the most fundamental level, casual attributions are intimately involved in cognitive processing of information and thereby cognitive theories of motivated behavior. Detailed examination of casual attributions and self-efficacy perceptions as bidirectional influences is likely to enhance and deepen our understanding of sport and exercise behavior.
디젤분진이 사람 동맥 평활근 세포(VSMC)에 미치는 영향

The purpose of the present study was to examine the effect of diesel exhaust particles on human aortic vascular smooth muscle cells(VSMCs). DNA synthesis, cell viability and morphology of VSMCs after treatment of diesel exhaust particles(DEP) and fine particulate matter(PM_(2.5)) were assayed. PM_(2.5) inhibited the DNA synthesis of VSMCs in a concentration-dependent manner, whereas DEP did not affect VSMCs up to 50㎍/mL . These results were confirmed by morphological examination of VSMCs. PM_(2.5) showed a dose-dependent cytotoxicity of VSMCs by MTT assay. Fraction 4(organic acids) and fraction8(moderately polar compounds) showed the most potent inhibition of DNA synthesis of VSMCs, and fraction7(slightly polar compounds), fraction9(higher polar compounds), and fraction6(aromatic compounds) were next order. These results were confirmed by morphological examination of VSMCs. These results suggest that PM_(2.5) inhibits the DAN synthesis of VSMCs through the cytotoxicity.

The purpose of this study was to determine the antioxidative effects of Rhodiola sachalinensis Rhodiola methanol extract was fractionated sequentially with dichloromethane and butanol. Each Rhodiola fraction (water, MeOH, BuOH and CH_2Cl_2 fractions) showed the potent superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity, and had inhibitory effets on peroxide value of linoleic acid (40~57%) and lipid peroxidation (47~70%) in FE^2+/ascorbate system-induced rat liver microsome. Rhodiola methanol extract also recovered carbon tetrachloride-induced decrease in SOD by 42% and catalase activities by 50%, and had inhibitory effects (54%) on carbon tetrachloride-induced lipid peroxidation in rat liver microsome. These results suggest that Rhodiola sachalinensis has the antioxidative effects.
Effect of Pyridoxine on Rifampicin Toxicity

The effects of pyridoxine (PN) on rifampicin (RMF) toxicity were investigated by both in vivo and in vitro methods. RMF (30 mg/kg) was injected intraperitoneally and PN(150 mg/kg) was administered orally to rats for 10 consecutive days. After treatment, clinical chemistry and hematologic profiles were measured. RMF and PN plus RMF did not show any adverse effects at this in vivo experimental condition. Thymidine incorporations of mice bone marrow cells were examined in vitro. RMF showed a decrease in thymidine uptake in a dose-dependent manner, but PN showed a reversal of the thymidine uptake suppression caused by RMF (p<0.01). On the other hand, PN showed a decrease in thymidine uptake at a high concentration level.

The proliferation and migration of vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) play important roles in the formation and progression of intimal thickening in early-phase atherosclerosis and in restenosis after vascular injury. Tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) is released from macrophages in atherosclerotic lesions and from neointimal vascular smooth muscle cells after balloon-injury. Obovatol, a major biphenolic component isolated from the Magnolia obovata leaf, is known to have anti-inflammatory and antitumor activities. The goal of this study was to examine the cardioprotective effects of the obovatol derivative OD 78 on the TNF-α-induced proliferation and migration of rat aortic smooth muscle cells (RASMCs). The antiproliferative effects of OD 78 on RASMCs were examined by cell counting and [³H]-thymidine incorporation assays. Treatment of cells with 1-4 μM OD 78 inhibited the proliferation and DNA synthesis of TNF-α-stimulated RASMCs in a concentration-dependent manner, without cytotoxicity. Treatment with OD 78 inhibited TNF-α-mediated p38 phosphorylation, but did not change the activation of extracellular signal-regulated kinase or c-Jun N-terminal kinase. Furthermore, treatment with OD 78 decreased TNF-α-induced levels of cyclin E, cyclin D1, CDK2, proliferating cell nuclear antigen, and phosphorylated retinoblastoma protein, but not the CDK4 expression level. Also, OD 78 inhibits the migration of TNF-α-induced RASMC in transwells. OD 78 treatment strongly decreased matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) expression in a dose-dependent manner, but the MMP-2 expression was unchanged. These results show that OD 78 may be developed as a potential antiproliferative agent for the treatment of angioplasty restenosis and atherosclerosis.
Effects of Diazinon on the Murine Host Defense System

Diazinon which is one of the most beavily used organophosphate pesticide in Korea, was examined for its effects on the murine host defense system. Immunotoxicological assay parameters adopted in this study were carbon clearance for macrophage function, susceptibility to tumor challenge, and pathotoxicological indicators, Subchronic exposure of pesticide to rodents resulted in the suppression of immune functions, enhancement of susceptibility to tumor challenge, and moderate histological changes of lymphoid organ without any significant alteration of clinical status.
