Partial linear varying coefficient models are often used in real data analysis for a good balance between flexibility and parsimony. In this paper, we propose a robust adaptive model selection method based on the rank regression, which can do simultaneous coefficient estimation and three types of selections, i.e., varying and constant effects selection, relevant variable selection. The new method has superiority in robustness and efficiency by inheriting the advantage of the rank regression approach. Furthermore, consistency in the three types of selections and oracle property in estimation are established as well. Simulation studies also confirm our method.
Segmented Douglas-Peucker Algorithm Based on the Node Importance

Vector data compression algorithm can meet requirements of different levels and scales by reducing the data amount of vector graphics, so as to reduce the transmission, processing time and storage overhead of data. In view of the fact that large threshold leading to comparatively large error in Douglas-Peucker vector data compression algorithm, which has difficulty in maintaining the uncertainty of shape features and threshold selection, a segmented Douglas-Peucker algorithm based on node importance is proposed. Firstly, the algorithm uses the vertical chord ratio as the main feature to detect and extract the critical points with large contribution to the shape of the curve, so as to ensure its basic shape. Then, combined with the radial distance constraint, it selects the maximum point as the critical point, and introduces the threshold related to the scale to merge and adjust the critical points, so as to realize local feature extraction between two critical points to meet the requirements in accuracy. Finally, through a large number of different vector data sets, the improved algorithm is analyzed and evaluated from qualitative and quantitative aspects. Experimental results indicate that the improved vector data compression algorithm is better than Douglas-Peucker algorithm in shape retention, compression error, results simplification and time efficiency.

Electrospun nanofibers represent a novel class of scaffold materials that show great potential in wound healing owing torelatively large surface area, better mimicry of native extracellular matrix, adjustable waterproofness and breathability, andprogrammable drug delivery process. In this work, electrospun polycaprolactone (PCL) and porcine acellular dermal matrix(PADM) composite nanofibrous membranes have been developed by electrospinning technology and inflated into threedimensional(3D) structural scaffold (PCL-PADM) by gas foaming method. The obtained PCL-PADM has higher thermalstability, hydrophilicity and better cell adhesion compared with PCL. In addition, ε-polylysine (ε-PL) is further attachedonto the surface of PADM/PCL to offer its good antibacterial properties. Moreover, the PADM/PCL fibrous scaffolds showexcellent cytocompatibility for promoting cell proliferation. In vivo models showed that the resultant PADM/PCL fibrousscaffolds exhibit an accelerating wound healing effect through promoting expression of vascular factor (CD31) and decreasingthe expression of tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α). These results indicate that the 3D fibrous scaffolds may be a potentialwound dressing for wound closure.
Stem Rot on Adzuki Bean (Vigna angularis) Caused by Rhizoctonia solani AG 4 HGI in China

During late August and early September 2011, stem rot symptoms were observed on adzuki bean plants (Vigna angularis) growing in fields located in Beijing and Hebei Province, China, respectively. In this study, four isolates were obtained from infected stems of adzuki bean plants. Based on their morphology, and sequence and polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) analyses of the ribosomal DNA internal transcribed spacers (rDNA-ITS) region, the four isolates were identified as Rhizoctonia solani in anastomosis group (AG) 4 HGI. Pathogenicity tests showed that all isolates were strongly pathogenic to adzuki bean and resulted in serious wilt symptoms which was similar to observations in the fields. Additionally, the isolates infected several other crops and induced related rot on the roots and basal stems. To our knowledge, this is the first report of Rhizoctonia solani AG 4 HGI causing stem rot on adzuki bean.

网络课程的快速发展,促进了教育教学观念转变、教学内容更新和教学方法的改革,但是这也增加了教学组织管理和学习效果测评的难度。本文基于平顶山学院学习通网络平台的《概率论与数理统计》课程监测数据,对大学生网络学习行为进行研究,分析学习平台的各类监测数据与学习效果之间的关联性以及大学生网络学习行为存在的问题,最后给出合理的改进建议,为教师对大学生的网络学习行为进行科学引导提供有力支撑,从而达到提升学习效果的目的。 The rapid development of online courses has promoted the transformation of educational and teaching concepts, the updating of teaching content and the reform of teaching methods, but it also increases the difficulty of teaching organization management and learning effect evaluation. Based on the monitoring data of “probability theory and mathematical statistics” course of Pingdingshan University’s learning network platform, this paper studies the online learning behaviors of college students, analyzes the correlation between various monitoring data on the learning platform and learning effects, and the existence of online learning behaviors of college students. Finally reasonable improvement suggestions are given to provide strong support for teachers to scientifically guide college students’ online learning behaviors, so as to achieve the purpose of improving learning effects.

Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) was grafted on graphene nanosheets (GN) in the reduction of graphene oxide with hydrazine hydrate. The obtained GN-PVA (GP) suspension was treated with the freezing– thawing cycle to fabricate 3D porous monolithic GP materials, which were modified with carbon disulfide to introduce xanthan groups on the wall of porous materials, marked as GPCs. The characterization of GPCs confirmed that PVA was attached on the surface of GNs, and xanthan groups were effectively functionalized on the porous structures, which were composed of randomly oriented GNs. The Pb2+ adsorption pattern for GPC materials was investigated. The kinetic adsorption and isotherm data fit the pseudo second-order kinetic and the Langmuir isotherm models, respectively. The maximum adsorption capacity of Pb2+ reached 242.7 mg/g. And GPCs for Pb2+ adsorption could be regenerated with ethylenediamine tetracetic acid (EDTA) solution for repetitious adsorption.

In the process of k-coverage of the target node, there will be a lot of data redundancy forcing the phenomenon of congestion which reduces network communication capability and coverage, and accelerates network energy consumption. Therefore, this paper proposes a novel energy balanced k-coverage control algorithm based on probability model (EBKCCA). The algorithm constructs the coverage network model by using the positional relationship between the nodes. By analyzing the network model, the coverage expected value of nodes and the minimum number of nodes in the monitoring area are given. In terms of energy consumption, this paper gives the proportion of energy conversion functions between working nodes and neighboring nodes. By using the function proportional to schedule low energy nodes, we achieve the energy balance of the whole network and optimizing network resources. The last simulation experiments indicate that this algorithm can not only improve the quality of network coverage, but also completely inhibit the rapid energy consumption of node, and extend the network lifetime.
