Performance Analysis of Amplify-and-Forward Two-Way Relaying with Antenna Correlation
( Zhangjun Fan ),( Kun Xu ),( Bangning Zhang ),( Xiaofei Pan ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2012 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.6 No.6
This paper investigates the performance of an amplify-and-forward (AF) two-way relaying system with antenna correlation. The system consists of two multiple-antenna sources, which exchange information via the aid of a single-antenna relay. In particular, we derive the exact outage probability expression. Furthermore, we provide a simple, tight closed-form lower bound for the outage probability. Based on the lower bound, we obtain the closed-form asymptotic outage probability and the average symbol error rate expressions at high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), which reveal the system`s diversity order and coding gain with antenna correlation. To investigate the system`s throughput performance with antenna correlation, we also derive a closed-form lower bound for the average sum-rate, which is quite tight from medium to high SNR regime. The analytical results readily enable us to obtain insight into the effect of antenna correlation on the system`s performance. Extensive Monte Carlo simulations are conducted to verify the analytical results.

This paper is concerned with the problem of the robust exponential passive filter design for uncertainneutral-type neural networks with time-varying mixed delays. Our aim is to design a Luenberger-type filter forestimating information about the neuron states, which is required in some applied areas. By constructing an appropriateLyapunov-Krasovskii functional and using the Wirtinger-based integral inequality to estimate its derivative,a delay-range-dependent and delay-rate-dependent criterion is presented to ensure the augmented filtering dynamicsystem to be robustly exponentially stable and passive with an expected dissipation. Since the criterion is presentedin the form of linear matrix inequalities with nonlinear constraints, a cone complementarity linearization algorithmis proposed to determine the filter gain from solution to the nonlinear problem. Finally, a numerical example isgiven to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

In this paper, the stability analysis problem of linear systems with an interval time-varying delay is investigated. Firstly, an augmented Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional is constructed, which includes more informationof the delay’s range and the delay’s derivative. Secondly, based on two improved integral inequalities which are lessconservative than Jensen’s integral inequalities, a delay-range-partition (DRP) approach is proposed to estimate theupper bound of the derivative of the augmented Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional. Then, less conservative stabilitycriteria in the form of linear matrix inequality (LMI) are established no matter whether the lower bound of delayis zero or not. Finally, to illustrate the effectiveness of the stability criteria proposed in this paper, two numericalexamples are given, and their results are compared with the existing results.

BACKGROUND: Despite the progress in perinatal-neonatal medicine, complications of extremely preterm infants continue to constitute the major adverse outcomes in neonatal intensive care unit. Human umbilical cord Wharton’s Jellyderived mesenchymal stem cells (HUMSCs) may offer new hope for the treatment of intractable neonatal disorders. This study will explore the functional differences of HUMSCs between extremely preterm and term infants. METHODS: UMSCs from 5 extremely preterm infants(weeks of gestation: 22?5 w,24?4 w,25?3 w,26 w,28 w) and 2 term infants(39 w,39?2 w) were isolated, and mesenchymal markers, pluripotent genes, proliferation rate were analyzed. HUVECs were injured by treated with LPS and repaired by co-cultured with HUMSCs of different gestational ages. RESULTS: All HUMSCs showed fibroblast-like adherence to plastic and positively expressed surface marker of CD105,CD73 and CD90, but did not expressed CD45,CD34,CD14,CD79a and HLA-DR; HUMSCs in extremely preterm exhibited significant increase in proliferation as evidenced by CCK8, pluripotency markers OCT-4 tested by RT-PCR also showed increase. Above all, in LPS induced co-cultured inflame systerm, HUMSCs in extremely preterm were more capable to promote wound healing and tube formation in HUVEC cultures, they promoted TGFb1 expression and inhibited IL6 expression. CONCLUSIONS: Our results suggest that HUMSCs from extremely preterm infants may be more suitable as candidates in cell therapy for the preterm infants.

To enhance the structural connectivity of prefabricated steel frame systems and augment their construction effi ciency, this study introduces an innovative prefabricated joint design tailored for square steel columns and H-beams characterized by varying beam heights. This study includes both static loading tests and seismic tests performed on full-scale joints featuring two diff erent beam heights. This investigation involved a comprehensive analysis of the static and seismic performance of the joints, employing various performance metrics such as ultimate load capacities, ultimate rotation angles, hysteresis curves, skeleton curves, stiff ness degradation curves, and ductility coeffi cients, in alignment with established structural codes and standards. The results indicate that the plasticity of the H-beam is fully developed, exhibiting a relative slip phenomenon. Additionally, the joints demonstrate commendable rotational capacity, with hysteresis curves consistently manifesting an inverse S-shape and exhibiting noteworthy stiff ness degradation. Furthermore, the comparison with the unimproved joint shows that the novel joint, in addition to being easy to construct, has better ductility and energy dissipation capacity. The results of the study will provide a technical reference for further optimization and application of prefabricated beam-column joints.
