      • Design of ATA Interface Hard Disk Memory Card Used in Video Image Data

        In order to realize the current requirements of video image data memory card such as low power consumption, high storage density, high reading/writing speed, and enhancing the storage medium compatibility with improving the storage capacity and stability at the same time, we suggested a design of Video image data memory card using ATA interface hard-disk, and we use modularized design in this program, consists four parts: the image data buffer module, ATA logic module, ATA interface module, host communication module. Wherein the image data buffer module selects the CPLD plus external FIFO to complete makes the system only need to modify the CPLD program while working together with different external devices, which can improve the reliability and maintainability of the memory card that we designed. The functions of ATA logic module and ATA interface module are realized based on FPGA. The host communication module is completed by the AVR chips with TUSB6250 chip, ensuring the memory card has the advantages of low power consumption, internal short circuit protection and so on. In this paper, the proposed memory card scheme has the superiority such as lower cost, better compatibility, easy to expand, especially suitable for huge amounts of data in video store.

        Verification Algorithm for the Duplicate Verification Data with Multiple Verifiers and Multiple Verification Challenges

        The cloud storage provides flexible data storage services for data owners to remotely outsource their data, and reduces data storage operations and management costs for data owners. These outsourced data bring data security concerns to the data owner due to malicious deletion or corruption by the cloud service provider. Data integrity verification is an important way to check outsourced data integrity. However, the existing data verification schemes only consider the case that a verifier launches multiple data verification challenges, and neglect the verification overhead of multiple data verification challenges launched by multiple verifiers at a similar time. In this case, the duplicate data in multiple challenges are verified repeatedly so that verification resources are consumed in vain. We propose a duplicate data verification algorithm based on multiple verifiers and multiple challenges to reduce the verification overhead. The algorithm dynamically schedules the multiple verifiers’ challenges based on verification time and the frequent itemsets of duplicate verification data in challenge sets by applying FP-Growth algorithm, and computes the batch proofs of frequent itemsets. Then the challenges are split into two parts, i.e., duplicate data and unique data according to the results of data extraction. Finally, the proofs of duplicate data and unique data are computed and combined to generate a complete proof of every original challenge. Theoretical analysis and experiment evaluation show that the algorithm reduces the verification cost and ensures the correctness of the data integrity verification by flexible batch data verification.

        A High Precision Compound Control Scheme Based on Non-singular Terminal Sliding Mode and Extended State Observer for an Aerial Inertially Stabilized Platform

        This paper presents a high precision compound control scheme based on non-singular terminal sliding mode and extended state observer (ESO) for an aerial inertially stabilized platform (ISP) to suppress the effects of multi-source disturbances on the control performance of the ISP. Firstly, a non-singular terminal sliding mode controller is proposed to achieve high disturbance rejection ability, by which the multi-source disturbances are integrally suppressed as an aggregate disturbance. And then, to restrain the chattering effect of the sliding mode control, a disturbance compensation scheme based on the extended state observer is proposed. By the ESO, the disturbances are observed and compensated in real time and hence the chattering effect is significantly alleviated. Meanwhile, a parameter configuration method is proposed to simplify the ESO design. To verify the method, simulations and experiments are conducted. The results show that the proposed compound control scheme has excellent ability in both disturbance rejection and chattering reduction, by which the stabilization precision of the ISP is improved significantly.

        Time-varying Group Formation With Leader-following Control for Heterogeneous Multi-agent Systems

        This paper studies time-varying group formation control for heterogeneous multi-agent systems (MAS). Two subgroups of heterogeneous MAS consisting of second-order dynamic and Euler-Lagrange (E-L) dynamic agents, three subgroups of heterogeneous MAS consisting of first-order, second-order dynamic and E-L dynamic agents are considered respectively. Firstly, through the assumption of the formation-tracking feasibility condition and the design of the formation compensation vectors in the controller, the time-varying formation control can be transformed into a consensus problem. Then, a distributed controller based on neighbor information is designed and sufficient conditions for time-varying formation control are obtained. The time-varying group formation problem of heterogeneous MAS is analyzed by Lyapunov stability theory and eigenvalue theory. Finally, two simulation results show that the proposed controller can realize the time-varying formation control of heterogeneous group MAS.

        The mechanism of mesna in protection from cisplatin-induced ovarian damage in female rats

        Objective: Cisplatin is a widely used chemotherapeutic agent in the treatment of cancers in clinic; but it often induces adverse effects on ovarian functions such as reduced fertility and premature menopause. Mesna could attenuate the cisplatin-induced ovarian damages; however, the underlying mechanism is still unknown. This study aimed to figure out the underlying mechanism of the protection of mesna for ovaries against cisplatin therapy in cancers. Methods: We performed female adult Sprague-Dawley rats into normal saline control (NS), low-dose cisplatin (CL), high-dose cisplatin (CH), CL plus mesna (CL+M), and CH plus mesna (CH+M) groups and detected anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH)-positive follicle, oxidative stress status and anti-oxidative capability in ovaries. Results: AMH-positive follicles were significantly decreased after cisplatin administration, which was significantly reversed when mesna was co-administered with cisplatin. The end product of lipid peroxidation, malondialdehyde (MDA), was significantly increased, but the anti-oxidative enzymatic activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione (GSH) were significantly decreased in cisplatin groups when compared with NS group. In contrast, after co-administration of cisplatin with mesna, MDA was significantly decreased whereas the activity of SOD and the concentration of GSH were increased. Moreover, mesna did not decrease the anti-tumor property of cisplatin in HePG2 cell lines. Conclusion: Cisplatin damages the granulosa cells by oxidative stress to deplete the ovarian reserve and mesna could protect ovarian reserve through anti-oxidation. These results might highlight the mechanism of the protection of mesna for ovarian reserve and open an avenue for the application of mesna as a protective additive in cisplatin chemotherapy in clinical practise.

        A Distributed Implementation Algorithm for Physical Layer Security Based on Untrusted Relay Cooperation and Artificial Noise

        In this letter, we consider a cooperation system with multipleuntrusted relays (URs). To keep the transmitted informationconfidential, we obtain joint channel characteristics (JCCs)through combining the channels from the source to thedestination. Then, in the null space of the JCCs, jammersconstruct artificial noise to confuse URs when the source nodebroadcasts its data. Through a distributed implementationalgorithm, the weight of each node can be obtained from itsown channel state information. Simulation results show thathigh-level security of the system can be achieved when internaland external eavesdroppers coexist.

      • An efficient triangular shell element based on edge-based smoothing technique for sheet metal forming simulation

        This paper presents an efficient triangular shell element based on edge-based smoothing technique for sheet forming simulation. The sheet model is first discretized into a set of triangular elements and linear shape functions are used. The smoothing domains associated with the edges of the triangles are then further formed and an edge local coordinate system is introduced for performing strain smoothing operations. The discretized system equations are obtained using the smoothed Galerkin weak form, and the numerical integration is applied based on the edge-based smoothing domains. The smoothing operation can provide a much needed softening effect to the FEM model to reduce the well-known “overly-stiff” behavior caused by the fully-compatible implementation of the displacement approach based on the Galerkin weak form, and hence improve significantly the solution accuracy. There is no extra sampling point introduced to evaluate the stiffness matrix in present formulation. Hence the present method is very simple and can be easily implemented. Some academic examples and benchmark tests show the accuracy and efficiency of the proposed element.

        Analytical and experimental investigation of stepped piezoelectric energy harvester

        Conventional Piezoelectric Energy Harvesters (CPEH) have been extensively studied for maximizing their electrical output through material selection, geometric and structural optimization, and adoption of efficient interface circuits. In this paper, the performance of Stepped Piezoelectric Energy Harvester (SPEH) under harmonic base excitation is studied analytically, numerically and experimentally. The motivation is to compare the energy harvesting performance of CPEH and SPEHs with the same characteristics (resonant frequency). The results of this study challenge the notion of achieving higher voltage and power output through incorporation of geometric discontinuities such as step sections in the harvester beams. A CPEH consists of substrate material with a patch of piezoelectric material bonded over it and a tip mass at the free end to tune the resonant frequency. A SPEH is designed by introducing a step section near the root of substrate beam to induce higher dynamic strain for maximizing the electrical output. The incorporation of step section reduces the stiffness and consequently, a lower tip mass is used with SPEH to match the resonant frequency to that of CPEH. Moreover, the electromechanical coupling coefficient, forcing function and damping are significantly influenced because of the inclusion of step section, which consequently affects harvester's output. Three different configurations of SPEHs characterized by the same resonant frequency as that of CPEH are designed and analyzed using linear electromechanical model and their performances are compared. The variation of strain on the harvester beams is obtained using finite element analysis. The prototypes of CPEH and SPEHs are fabricated and experimentally tested. It is shown that the power output from SPEHs is lower than the CPEH. When the prototypes with resonant frequencies in the range of 56-56.5 Hz are tested at 1 m/s<sup>2</sup>, three SPEHs generate power output of 482 μW, 424 μW and 228 μW when compared with 674 μW from CPEH. It is concluded that the advantage of increasing dynamic strain using step section is negated by increase in damping and decrease in forcing function. However, SPEHs show slightly better performance in terms of specific power and thus making them suitable for practical scenarios where the ratio of power to system mass is critical.

        Service Quality, Customer Satisfaction and Customer Loyalty of Mobile Communication Industry in China

        Previous studies have shown that the most important factor affecting customer loyalty in the service industry is service quality. However, on the subject of whether service quality has a direct or indirect effect on customer loyalty, scholars' views apparently vary. Some studies suggest that service quality has a direct and fundamental influence on customer loyalty (Bai and Liu, 2002). However, others have shown that service quality not only directly affects customer loyalty, it also has an indirect impact on customer loyalty by influencing customer satisfaction and perceived value (Cronin, Brady, and Hult, 2000). Currently, there are few domestic articles that specifically address the relationship between service quality and customer loyalty in the mobile communication industry. Moreover, research has studied customer loyalty as a whole variable, rather than breaking it down further into multiple dimensions. Based on this analysis, this paper summarizes previous study results, establishes an effect mechanism model among service quality, customer satisfaction, and customer loyalty in the mobile communication industry, and presents a statistical test on model assumptions by using customer investigation data from Heilongjiang Mobile Company. It provides theoretical guidance for mobile service management based on the discussion of the hypothesis test results. For data collection, the sample comprised mobile users in Harbin city, and the survey was taken by random sampling. Out of a total of 300 questionnaires, 276 (92.9%) were recovered. After excluding invalid questionnaires, 249 remained, for an effective rate of 82.6 percent for the study. Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ coefficient was adapted to assess the scale reliability, and validity testing was conducted on the questionnaire from three aspects: content validity, construct validity. and convergent validity. The study tested for goodness of fit mainly from the absolute and relative fit indexes. From the hypothesis testing results, overall, four assumptions have not been supported. The ultimate affective relationship of service quality, customer satisfaction, and customer loyalty is demonstrated in Figure 2. On the whole, the service quality of the communication industry not only has a direct positive significant effect on customer loyalty, it also has an indirect positive significant effect on customer loyalty through service quality; the affective mechanism and extent of customer loyalty are different, and are influenced by each dimension of service quality. This study used the questionnaires of existing literature from home and abroad and tested them in empirical research, with all questions adapted to seven-point Likert scales. With the SERVQUAL scale of Parasuraman, Zeithaml, and Berry (1988), or PZB, as a reference point, service quality was divided into five dimensions-tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy-and the questions were simplified down to nineteen. The measurement of customer satisfaction was based mainly on Fornell (1992) and Wang and Han (2003), ending up with four questions. Based on the study’s three indicators of price tolerance, first choice, and complaint reaction were used to measure attitudinal loyalty, while repurchase intention, recommendation, and reputation measured behavioral loyalty. The collection and collation of literature data produced a model of the relationship among service quality, customer satisfaction, and customer loyalty in mobile communications, and China Mobile in the city of Harbin in Heilongjiang province was used for conducting an empirical test of the model and obtaining some useful conclusions. First, service quality in mobile communication is formed by the five factors mentioned earlier: tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy.
