        하수처리장 적용을 위한Semi-카플란 수차가 장착된 마이크로수력발전 시스템

        소수력발전은 하수처리장 에너지 자립을 위한 효과적인 대안이다. 본 연구는 유량변동이 크고 유효낙차가 낮은 중소형하수처리장(기흥레스피아) 적용을 위해 피치조절형 세미카플란(semi-kaplan) 마이크로수력발전의 적용 타당성을 평가하였다. 가변피치 semi-kaplan 수차는 유량조절을 위한 가이드베인은 생략하고 피치조절형 런너를 장착하여 기계적 결함은 줄이면서 유량변동이 큰 처리장에 특화된 기술이다. 마이크로수력발전 시스템은 설계조건(유량 0.35 m3/s, 유효낙차 4.7 m)에서 90.2%의 수차효율 달성이 가능하였고 발전용량은 13.4 kW로 산정되었다. 설비가동률 74%로 가동 시 연간 약 86.8 MWh 에너지 생산을 통해 2.1%의 에너지 자립이 가능하고 이는 연간 49톤의 CO₂ 감축효과와 맞먹는다. 경제성 평가결과 초기 건설공사비가 200,000,000원 이하인 경우에는 내부수익률은 6.1%, 순현가는 15,539,000원, 편익-비용률은 1.08, 투자회수년은 15.5년으로 경제성이 충분한 것으로 나타났다. Small scale hydropower is one of most attractive and cost-effective energy technologies for installation within sewage treatment plants. This study was conducted to evaluate the potential of a semi-kaplan micro-hydropower (MHP) system for application to sewage treatment plants with high flow fluctuations and a low head. The semi-kaplan MHP is equipped with an adjustable runner blade, and is without a guide vane, so as to reduce the incidence of mechanical problems. A MHP rating 13.4 kWp with a semi-kaplan turbine has been considered for Kiheung Respia sewage treatment plant, and this installation is estimated to generate 86.8 MWh of electricity annually, which is enough to supply electricity to over 25 households, and equivalent to an annual reduction of 49 ton CO₂. The semi-kaplan turbine showed a 90.2% energy conversion efficiency at the design flow rate of 0.35 m3/s and net head of 4.7 m, and was adaptable to a wide range of flow fluctuations. Through the MHP operation, approximately 2.1% of total electricity demand of Kiheung Respia sewage treatment plant will be achievable. Based on financial analysis, an exploiting MHP is considered economically acceptable with an internal rate of return of 6.1%, net present value of 15,539,000 Korean Won, benefit- cost ratio of 1.08, and payback year of 15.5, respectively, if initial investment cost is 200,000,000 Korean Won.

        오공약침의 안전성에 대한 임상적 연구

        Objective: Recently scolopendrid aquacupuncture has been a good effect on pain control but it has not been known about clinical safety. So, In order to prove the clinical safety of scolopendrid aquacupuncture, We have observed the physical reac-tion and clinical pathology test after scolopendrid aquacupuncture treatment. Methods: We analyzed physical reaction and clinical pathology test before and after Scolopendrid aquacupuncture treatment of 30 patients suffering from pain, who admitted department of Acupunture and Moxibustion, College of Oriental Medicine, Won-Kwang University Kwangju hospital. Results & Conclusions: The results were summarized as follows. 1) The distribution of sex was 14 males and 16 females, and the average of patients age was 46.2 years. 2) The distribution of symptom was lumbago, lumbago with radiating pain, nuchal pain and knee joint pain. 3) In the 30 patients treated with Scolopendrid aquacupuncture, hematologic test did not show remarkable change. 4) In the 30 patients treated with Scolopendrid aquacupuncture, Liver function test(AST, ALT, ALP) showed a slight decrease on the contrary, and abnormal rate showed a decrease of 1.0%(from 3.3% to 2.3%) compared with previous study. 5) In the 30 patients treated with Scolopendrid aquacupuncture, Renal function test(BUN, Cr) and abnormal rate(from 2.5% to 2.0%) showed a slight decrease on the contrary. 6) In the 30 patients treated with Scolopendrid aquacupuncture. Electrolyte were normal range before & after treatment. 7) In the results of the Urine analysis of 30 patients, Leukocyte, Protein. Glucose, Keton, Bilirubin, U-bilinogen were not detected before and after Scolopendrid aquacupuncture treatment, and the rest almost made no difference. 8) In the Physical reactions, all of the patients complained of pain of body partially, only one patient showed reddish and itch, but symptoms like those were entirely disappeared within 24 hours and whole body pain, swelling, headache, dizziness, fatigue and nausea was not observed.

      • Characteristics of (Fe, M)S<sub>2</sub> (M=Co, Ni, Mo) Composite Powders Fabricated by MCP

        <P>As the electrodes of secondary battery are made with sulfide composite powders, excellent electrode system of environmental non-toxicity and with high specific energy density and low material cost can be obtained. In this study, the (Fe, M)S2 composite powders was synthesized by mechanochemical processes (MCP) in order to improve of the cycle life in bettery. The formation of pyrite phase appreared at the case which adds nickel, but it was not observed in the case where the transition metal was does not add but the transition metal such as cobalt, molybdenum was added in stead. From charge-discharge test results, the initial discharge capasity of (Fe, Ni)S2 electrode was 845 mAh/g. The initial discharge capasity of (Fe, Co)S2 electrode was 500mAh/g, but it showed a better cycle perfoemance than the case where the diffrent transition metal was added.</P>

        Antibacterial effects of Mume Fructus Water Extract against Salmonella typhimurium in Murine Salmonellosis

        The present study was undertaken to estimate the antibacterial effect of Mume Fructus water extract (MFWE) against murine salmonellosis. At MFWE concentrations ranging from 25 to 100 ${\mu}g/ml$, the antibacterial effect was not showed on Salmonella typhimurium (S. typhimurium). On the other hand, bacteria without MFWE had a tendency to proliferate up to 8 h after incubation. Oral administration of MFWE at the dose of 40 mg/ml showed a therapeutic effect for S. typhimurium infected BALB/c mice. The mortality of MFWE-treated mice was 80% at 12 days, while that of MFWE-untreated mice was 100% at 9 days after a lethal dose of S. typhimurium infection. The results of our study strongly indicate that MFWE has potential as an effective of salmonellosis.

        Clinical Practice Guideline for Cardiac Rehabilitation in Korea: Recommendations for Cardiac Rehabilitation and Secondary Prevention after Acute Coronary Syndrome

        Though clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) for cardiac rehabilitation (CR) are an effective and widely used treatment method worldwide, they are as yet not widely accepted in Korea. Given that cardiovascular (CV) disease is the second leading cause of death in Korea, it is urgent that CR programs be developed. In 2008, the Government of Korea implemented CR programs at 11 university hospitals as part of its Regional Cardio-Cerebrovascular Center Project, and 3 additional medical facilities will be added in 2019. In addition, owing to the promotion of CR nationwide and the introduction of CR insurance benefits, 40 medical institutions nationwide have begun CR programs even as a growing number of medical institutions are preparing to offer CR. The purpose of this research was to develop evidence-based CPGs to support CR implementation in Korea. This study is based on an analysis of CPGs elsewhere in the world, an extensive literature search, a systematic analysis of multiple randomized control trials, and a CPG management, development, and assessment committee comprised of thirty-three authors—primarily rehabilitation specialists, cardiologists, and thoracic surgeons in 21 university hospitals and 2 general hospitals. Twelve consultants, primarily rehabilitation, sports medicine, and preventive medicine specialists, CPG experts, nurses, physical therapists, clinical nutritionists, and library and information experts participated in the research and development of these CPGs. After the draft guidelines were developed, 3 rounds of public hearings were held with staff members from relevant academic societies and stakeholders, after which the guidelines were further reviewed and modified. CR involves a more cost-effective use of healthcare resources relative to that of general treatments, and the exercise component of CR lowers CV mortality and readmission rates, regardless of the type of coronary heart disease and type and setting of CR. Individualized CR programs should be considered together with various factors, including differences in heart function and lifestyle, and doing so will boost participation and adherence with the CR program, ultimately meeting the final goals of the program, namely reducing the recurrence of myocardial infarction and mortality rates.

        A Case Study of a Resource Reservation Protocol in IP Based Wireless Access Networks for ITS Service

        For effective IP based service implementation on the wireless network environments, wireless network including the ITS network have to support QoS guaranteed protocol such as a RSVP. RSVP is a resource reservation protocol for Internet environment, and its scalability makes easy to implement RSVP over the various IP transport technologies. But for the If based ITS wireless network environment, RSVP is not suitable, since by its path setup procedure characteristic. In the wireless access network for ITS service, when a mobile node moves to other domain it must perform registration procedure. But the registration procedure is time consuming steps, so if a RSVP session was already established in the previous domain, the RSYP session may be disconnected and the time to re establish a new RSVP session is long enough to cause serious packet loss. In this paper, we propose a pre-path reservation mechanism for applying the RSVP in wireless access networks for ITS. In the pre-path reservation mechanism, the resource reservation procedure occurred during a mobile node's handoff time. An access point in wireless access network performs this procedure when the mobile node attempts handoff The access point executes pre-path reservation procedure as a proxy, since the mobile node does not have IP address until the address allocation procedure is finished in a new domain.

        A clinical study on oral malodor related to saliva and tongue plaque

        Objectives: The purpose of this study is to find out the correlation ships between such factors as salivary flow, tongue plaque and the activities of oral micro flora and such components for oral malodor as methyl mercaptan, hydrogen sulfide, dimethyl sulfide and ammonia. Methods: he author has performed the clinical experiment of oral malodor, and 35 age 20 to 40, volunteers were participated in this study, through the oral exam, interview and oral malodor check. Results: It revealed highly correlation coefficient between the tongue plaque deposition and the oral malodor of Ammonia gas (r=0.544, p<0.05). There was a little correlation between the salivary flow rate and each ingredients of oral malodor gas. Other wise there was reverse correlation co efficiency between the salivary pH and each ingredients of oral malodor gas, (r=-0;306) but it was not significant in statistical (p>0.05). There was considerable correlation between the activities of acid product micro-organism in saliva and Hydrogen sulfide gas of oral malodor(r=0.441, p<0,01). Reverse correlation co efficiency was shown between both in the salivary flow rate and pH of saliva and the tongue plaque deposition (r= 0.387, p<0.05), (r=-0.46, p<0.01). It revealed highly correlation between the activity of acid product oral micro flora and the salivary flow rate (r=0.505, p<0.01) was reversed correlation with the hydrogen sulfide(r=-0.348, p<0.05) but highly correlation with the dimethyl sulfide(r=0.510, p<0.05). Conclusion: It was recommended to .increase the salivary flow rate and pH and decrease the tongue plaque deposition for ammonia gas control, in order to protect from the oral malodor. It could be minimized for hydrogen sulfide gas through the inhibiting the activities of oral micro flora which can influence to the salivary flow or salivary pH.

      • A scalable hybrid approach for extracting head components from Web tables

        We have established a preprocessing method for determining the meaningfulness of a table to allow for information extraction from tables on the Internet. A table offers a preeminent clue in text mining because it contains meaningful data displayed in rows and columns. However, tables are used on the Internet for both knowledge structuring and document design. Therefore, we were interested in determining whether or not a table has meaningfulness that is related to the structural information provided at the abstraction level of the table head. Accordingly, we: 1) investigated the types of tables present in HTML documents, 2) established the features that distinguished meaningful tables from others, 3) constructed a training data set using the established features after having filtered any obvious decorative tables, and 4) constructed a classification model using a decision tree. Based on these features, we set up heuristics for table head extraction from meaningful tables, and obtained an F-measure of 95.0 percent in distinguishing meaningful tables from decorative tables and an accuracy of 82.1 percent in extracting the table head from the meaningful tables.
