SPORT Fans’ Learning Process in Relation to Sport Rules and Future Consumption of Sport Products

Purpose: The purpose of the study is to conceptualize and test the relationship to determine the influence sport rules acquisition has on sport consumption behaviors. Specially, this study aims to provide more practical evidence regarding the relationship between the processes associated with learning sport rules and intentions regarding future consumption. Consequently, by examining sport rules as they relate to sport fans’ behaviors, this study is to recognize the significance of sport rules and the value they have with regard to marketing practitioners who will be in the position to design more effective marketing strategies. Method: A total of 260 usable responses were collected via QUALTRICS, one of external online survey providers. Rule recognition process was comprised of four subscales and sport consumption behaviors were measured with four subscales. Confirmatory factor analysis(CFA) was conducted based on the procedures. Structural equation modeling was used to examine the structural relationship among variables and the reliability(Cronbach’s alpha) of each subscale was checked. The average variance extracted(AVE) values were also evaluated, as they indicated whether each item contributes to the basic construct of the scales. Results: Confirmatory Factor Analysis(CFA) showed the measurement of the model and structural model had reasonable fit. The structural model provides a good basis for testing the nature of each individual relationship based on the regression weights, standard error, and critical ratio. The results also showed that statistically significant differences existed between how learning of rules occurred and future consumption pathways. Conclusion: A core product of sport management is the game itself and understanding sport rules is a prerequisite to enjoy the core product. Therefore, it is suggested that the role of understanding sport rules should be considered an important factor for understanding and predicting the sport fan development process and future behaviors.Learning rules via media consumption lends to future consumption of media consumption. Regarding the learning by way of playing sport pathway, it is demonstrated to have a meaningful influence in respect to purchasing sporting goods and attending sporting events.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship among players’ perceptions of authentic leadership, trust in coach, and group cohesion. Male college soccer players responded to questionnaire items about these three factors. A total of 249 survey data were analyzed by structural equation modeling. Authentic leadership had a significant positive relationship with trust in coach and group cohesion; trust in coach had a significant positive relationship with group cohesion; and trust in coach was a mediator in the relationship between authentic leadership and group cohesion. These findings suggest when coaches are authentic leaders, athlete and team outcomes may benefit.

The purpose of this work is to obtain fundamental data about material fatigue crack detection system using AE method. The acoustic emission as a nondestructive evaluation is one of the tests for realtime monitoring in the advanced countries such as US, Japan, Russia, etc. Characteristic evaluation of AE signal, AE frequency and RMS analysis for state monitoring is also presented in the paper. This test provided the fundamentals of AE method such as crack frequency when applying vibration on the welded pipe.

The location of a sports facility is one of the significant factors in economically operating and maintaining the facility. The present study used a location theory model to examine the influence of the Major League Baseball (MLB) stadium location on attendance (N = 348) for the 2006-2017 MLB regular seasons, taking into consideration the population, median income, and distance between the stadium and the population center of counties nearby the stadium. The optimal location model was determined as the inverse proportion of the squared distance of the first nearest county, and location significantly influenced the attendance (p < .05). Then, based on the results of the location model, the current study analyzed the relationship between the MLB attendance and other attendance determinants by using hierarchical linear modeling. Among 14 different determinants, six variables (i.e., stadium capacity, ticket price, season, as well as the home team’s quality, payroll, and star players) were revealed in the findings to have a significant influence on the MLB attendance (p < .05).

다시기 원격탐사 자료는 재난·재해, 도시개발, 환경변화 등으로 인한 지형의 변화 유무를 분석하는 변화탐지 기법에 활용할 수 있다. 그리고 다양한 센서의 개발은 관심지역에 대한 짧은 주기의 다시기원격탐사자료 취득을 가능하게 만들었다. 특히, 초분광 영상과 같이 멀티스펙트럴 영상과 다른 특성을 지닌 원격탐사자료의 취득이 가능해지면서 기존의 무감독변화탐지 기법을 활용하는데 한계가 있다. 이에, 본 연구에서는 초분광 영상과 멀티스펙트럴 영상을 활용한 이종영상 간의 무감독 변화탐지 기법을 제안하였다. 변화탐지 기법은 무감독 변화탐지 기법인 S²CVA(Sequential Spectral Change Vector Analysis)를 적용하였으며, 실험결과에 대한 정확도 평가는 ROC(Receiver Operating Characteristic) 곡선과 AUC(Area Under Curve)를 통해 비교평가 하였다. 평가 결과 본 연구에서 제안한 기법이 원영상을 적용한 경우의 변화탐지 결과보다 우수한 탐지 성능을 보이는 것을 확인하였다.
SCR 촉매와 AOC 촉매에서 환원제 분사에 따른 NO<SUB>x</SUB> 저감효율과 NH₃ 변환효율에 관한 실험적 연구

As the environmental regulation of vehicle emission is strengthened, investigations for NOx and PM reduction strategies are popularly conducted. Two current available technologies for continuous NOx reduction onboard diesel vehicles are Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) using aqueous urea and lean NOx trap (LNT) catalysts. The experiments were conducted to investigate the NOx reduction performance of SCR system which can control the ratio of NO/NO₂, temperature and SV(space velocity), and the model gas was used which is similar to a diesel exhaust gas. The maximum reduction efficiency is indicated when the NO:NO₂ ratio is 1:1 and the SV is 30,000 h?¹ in 300℃. Generally, ammonia slip from SCR reactors are rooted to incomplete conversion of NH₃ over the SCR. In this research, slip was occurred in 6cases (except low SV and NO:NO₂ ratio is 1:1) after SCR. Among 6 case of slip occurrence, the maximum conversion efficiency is observed when SV is 60,000 h?¹ in 400℃.
