        The aim of the study is examining the influence of elementary schoolchildren's Taekwondo training on their sense of self-respects. The subjects of the study are the boy students of the fourth, fifth, and sixth school year of elementary schools in Seoul at the present time, and the method of sampling from the population is the multi-stage cluster sampling. The way of data gathering is that let the subjects write out questionnaires using the self-evaluation recording, and the 326 person's data on material examination process is analyzed by IBM PC SAS Package. The methods of analysis include the confidence level verification by sub-areas, examination of questionnaires, re-examination of confidence level, computing the average and the standard deviation by each of 4 self-respects areas unitary variable quantities analysis and the Tukey's post data verification. The results of the study over the influence of elementary schoolchildren's Taekwondo training on their sense of self-respects from the methodologies and process above draw conclusions like follows: 1. The fifth school year students gained the highest mark following the fourth, and the sixth school year in the whole, social, home, and school life senses of self-respect by school year, but the differences among them are meaningless statistically. 2. The training students marked higher than the training experienced students in the whole, social, home, and school life senses of self-respect by whether they have trained or not, but the differences among them are meaningless statistically. 3. According to the grades, the meaningful differences between the Poom(senior grade) holders and the Keup(junior grade) holders(p=0.0009) was showed in the whole senses of self-respect, and the social senses of self-respect was differed much between the Poom holders and 8-4 Keup holders(p=0.0058), the home life senses of self-respect between the 3 Poom holders and the Keup holders, 1-2 Poom holders and 8-4 Keup holders showed meaningful differences(p=0.0010), but the differences in the school life senses of self-respect are meaningless statistically. 4. According to personal career, the differences have something significants in the whole senses of self-respect among the students who have trained over 3, 2-3 years and less than 1 year(p=0.0062), in the social senses of self-respect among the students who have trained over 3, 2-3, 1-2 years and less than 1 year(p=0.0103), and in home life senses of self-respect between the students who have trained over 3 years and 1-2 years or less than 1 year, between 2-3 years and less than 1 year(p=0.0004), but the differences in the school life senses of self-respect are meaningless statistically.

      • 고속 반도체 광변조기의 설계 및 성능평가에 관한 연구

        In this paper we investigate the phase efficiency in the electrooptic phase modulator using PPpinNN GaAs / AlGaAs W waveguide. The phase change is affected by the refractive index change taking place inside the depletion region. The behavior of the modulator can be understood in terms of two electric field-related and two carrier-related effects linear electrooptic, quadratic electrooptic, plasma, and bandgap shift. As a result, the phase modulation efficiency was measured about 34.6[˚V·mm] for the TE polarized light. The quadratic electrooptic coefficient R = 5.82 x 10^(-15) [㎠/V²] is obtained and the phase efficiency caused by the quadratic electrooptic effect is about 10 times larger than that from the conventional linear electrooptic effect.

        Wireless Sensor Networks provide a new paradigm for sensing and disseminating information from various environments, with the potential to serve many and diverse applications. Recent advancement in wireless communications and electronics has enabled the development of low-cost sensor networks. The sensor networks can be used for various application areas. For different application areas, there are different technical issues that researchers are currently resolving. The current state of the art of sensor networks is captured in this article, where solutions are discussed under their related protocol stack layer sections. This article also points out the open research issues and intends to spark new interests and developments in this field. In order to evaluate the application of field monitoring system, lab tests, field test and FEM analysis are conducted. Therefore the accuracy of RFID wireless sensor data is verified.

        Moral Events and Explanation, and Mental Causation

        현대 도덕 철학자들에 의해서 제기된 도덕적 설명의 문제(the problem of moral explanation)는 무얼(G. E. Moore)에 의해서 처음으로 구체화된 사실-가치의 간극의 문제(the problem of fact-value gap)와 직접적으로 관련을 가지고 있으며 더욱 더 구체화된 아주 중요한 현대 윤리학의 핵심 주제이다. 할먼(Gilbert Harman), 스툴젼(Nicholas Sturgeon) 그리고 브린크(David O. Brink)등에 의해서 집중적으로 연구되고 윤리학에서의 그 역할의 중요성이 입증된 도덕적 설명의 문제의 논점은 도덕적 송성들과 사실들의 비도덕덕 속성들과 사실들에 대한 설명적 관계를 입증하고 그에 대한 논변을 제공하는 것이다. 필자는 이 논문에서 이것과 직접적으로 관련을 맺고있는 현대의 논의들에서 보여지는 불명료성을 지적하고 이것을 더욱 더 명료하게 하고 논쟁적 요소를 최대한 제거하기 위해서 현대 심리철학에서 사용하고 있는 형이상학적 그리고 방법론적 선택자들을 적용해보려고 시도한다. 그래서 먼저 도덕적 사실들(moral facts)이라는 용어가 도덕적 상태와 변화를 포함하는 다양한 도덕적 현상들을 표현하는데 부적당하기 대문에 그 대신에 도덕적 사건들(moral events)이라는 용어를 사용하는데 그 동기는 이러한 도덕성의 기묘한 속성(queer property of morality)을 안정된 이론적 근거를 가진 존재론적 범주에 안착시키고자 하는 것이다. 그래서 이 논문은 도덕적 설명의 문제는 바로 정신인과의 문제(the problem of mental causation)와 밀접하게 연관을 맺고 있다 못해 그것의 한 특별한 경우라는 것을 드러낼 것이다. 이러한 맥락 속에서 다양한 논의를 거치면서 물리주의의 몇 가지 원리들을 만족시키면서 도덕적 설명의 가능성을 구하는 방법으로서 도덕적 속성과 물리적 속성사이의 동일성의 선택지(identity option)를 가장 적절한 모델로서 받아들이는데 이것이 정신인과의 경우에서와는 달리 물리적 영역의 다수실현가능성의 논변(an argument from the multiple realizability of the physical)을 피할 수 있기 때문이다. 그러나 필자의 논변이 전체적 참이 되기 위해서는 비인지주의자들(noncognitivists)의 예봉을 완전히 피해야하는데 필자는 이 논문에서 그 논의와 멀리 서있기를 시도했다 그리고 그들에 대한 대응은 이 논문의 영역을 벗어나는 것이라고 이 논문의 범위를 한정했다.

        This paper is written as a specific part of a thesis, that is, A Study on the Architectual Planning for the Effective Preservation Program of the Historically Cultural Environment. In this paper, we deal with the preservation and development of the cultural assets, and preservation of the historically cultural environment, that is the most important problem in the modern society. First, we deal with the preservation of the cultural assets, and the related legal basis of the cultural assets. second, we deal with the problems of nomination of the cultural assets. Third, we review the laws related to the preservation of the cultural assets. Finally, we propose some suggestions for the complement of the related law.

      • 다중 속성의 가중치를 이용한 인터넷 채용 협상 시스템의 설계 및 구현

        These day, Internet Recruiting needs the negotiation of recruiting items. This paper proposes multilateral negotiation that substitutes applicants and employers. Previous Negotiation Systems use the preference value of the multi-attribute and the sequential negotiation. But proposed Internet Recruiting Negotiation System(IRNS) uses the parallel negotiation of multi-attribute. The parallel negotiation supplies the multi-attribute negotiation including values of single-attribute and result of parallel negotiation. This paper shows that excellent result for effective negotiation using the weight strategy of multi-attribute for a matter of concern of users.

      • 복합 운동프로그램이 초등학생의 신체구성, 혈중지질 및 체력에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of the present study was to examine the effects of combined training on the changes of body composition, blood lipid profile and fitness in elementary school students. Thirty subjects participated in the present study. The subjects were divided into two groups either exercise group for 10weeks(15n) or control group for 10weeks(l5n) The results were described as follows; 1) There were significant differences in the body weight and lean body mass after the exercise program between two groups. 2) There were no significant differences in the blood TC, HDL-C, LDL-C, TG concentration after the exercise program between two groups. 3) There were significant differences in the sit-up and flexibility after the exercise group between two groups. In conclusion, it might be thought that the combined training improved the levels of body composition and health-related fitness in elementary subjects.

      • 공단지역 및 청정지역 식물 잎권의 잎표면세균 및 내산성세균의 분포

        산성강하물의 영향을 받는 대천공단지역과 영향을 받지 않는 청정지역인 대전 계족산 자연휴양림에서 자라는 밤나무(Castanea crenat)의 잎표면에서 서식하는 총세균수, 생존세균수, 종속영양세균수, 내산성세균수를 1996년 8월부터 1997년 8월까지 5회에 걸쳐 조사하였다. 공단지역 잎표면 평균 총세균수, 생존세균수 및 종속영양세균수는 각각 9.9×10^(5) cell/㎠, 1.6×10⁴cell/㎠, 7.1×10³cell/㎠,로서 청정지역에 비하여 각각 1.5배, 2배, 2.6배 정도로 관찰되었다. MPN법으로 측정한 pH 5.6애서의 잎표면 내산성세를수는 공단지역 3.3×10⁴, 청정지역 3.4×10⁴MON/㎠로 거의 같았고, pH 4.0에서의 내산성세균수는 공단지역애서 1.9×10^-(-1)MPN/㎠인 반면 청정지역에서는 전혀 검출되지 않았다. pH 3.0에서의 내산성 잎표면세균수는 공단지역과 청정지역의 잎권 어느 곳에서도 검출되지 않았다. 한편 계절별 잎표면세균수의 분포는 대체로 잎이 나기 시작하여 크기가 가장 작은 5월에 최대를, 그리고 낙엽이 지는 11월에 최소를 나타내었다. 이런 결과는 공단지역의 대기오염물질의 침적이 주변의 식물 잎표면 세균수를 감소시키지는 않으며, 특히 산성강하물의 영향으로 내산성세균수가 증가함을 보여주고 있다. Total, direct viable count, and acid-tolerant epiphytic bacterial population sizes were quantified on leaves of chestnut tree (Castanea crenata S. et Z.) near Taejon Industrial Estate affected by acid precipitation and deposition as well as in the clean natural forest area, Mt. Kyejok, in Taejon city from August 1996 to August 1997. Geometric mean numbers of total, direct viable count, and acid-tolerant epiphytic bacteria were 9.9×10^(5) cell/㎠, 1.6×10^(6)cell/㎠, and 7.1×10³cfu/㎠ respecfvely, being 1.5, 2, and 2.6 times those in the clean area. Acid-to-lerant epiphytic bfcterial numbers at pH 5.6 by MPN method were 3.3×10" in the industrial area, about the same as the number,3.4×104 MPNicni, of the clean area. Acid-tolerant bacterial number at pH 4.0 was 1.9×10^(-1)MPN/㎠ in the industrial area, whereas none was detected in the clean area. Acid-tolerant bacteria at pH 3.0 were not detected at all in the industrial area as well as in the clean area. Epiphytic bacterial population sizes were generally the greatest in May when leaves are emerged and grew but the lowest in November when defoliation occurs. These results showed that air pollutant deposition on leaves did not cause a deuease of epiphytic bacteria at least and acid deposition on leaves did cause an increase of acid-tolerant bacteria.
