<P>One of the key features of advanced manufacturing technologies is the metrology of geometric quantities. Coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) now are widely used to perform relevant measurements. Normally, the use of CMMs in traditional quality control rooms, isolated from the production floor, often proves unsuitable for effective and timely feedback on the manufacturing process. However, CMMs are sensitive to environmental factors such as humidity, suspended dust and oil, vibrations, and especially temperature. For this reason, measuring machines must to be designed with features that make them more resistant to the environmental influences on shop floor operations. The main goal of this work is to enhance accuracy of a CMM working on the shop floor conditions by design improvements and error compensation. A 3-axis CMM will be built with some improved designed features and a software compensation technique will be applied to enhance the machine accuracy.</P>
Synthesis of oxime from a renewable resource for metal extraction

A new method for semi-synthesis of alkyl salicylaldoximes from cardanol is reported. Cardanol was extracted from decarboxylation process of cashew nutshell liquid, an abundant agricultural by-product. Molecular structures, physical and chemical properties of cardanol and oxime derivatives were confirmed by spectroscopic analyses. The produced oximes were successfully employed to extract copper(II) cation from aqueous copper salt solutions, offering a practical and economical pathway to effectively recover metals using agricultural by-products.
Factors Affecting Parents' Intention to Choose English Centers: The Role of STEM Education

Parents' desire for daily English practice for students and the urge for a etter English education has led to a demand for a highly qualified educational curriculum. In addition to getting deep-dive insights into parents' decision-making process, the increasingly important role of STEM education method has been proved in accordance with plenty of evidenced-based many of previous research. This study was conducted to examine the five independent factors affecting parents' intentions when designating English centers for their children, respectively named: Facility, Teachers, Brands, Social factors and Tuition. Through a preliminary approach, 235 samples were analyzed. Analysis of the sample responses reveals the importance level of five independent factors affecting Parents' intention to choose English centers in descending order: Facilities, Teachers, Brands, Tuition and Social factors. Furthermore, a positive correlation was found between STEM and Intention to choose English centers, indicating that whether the center applies STEM-related curriculum in English courses or not, in fact, has a significant impact on parents' decision. In terms of attitude towards STEM, further statistical tests revealed an interesting finding, which is the fact that how STEM affects Intention of parents is directly proportional to the Attitude towards STEM. With the help of SPSS 20 and AMOS 20, the SEM analysis was processed in order to draw conclusions about factors impacting Intentions to choose English centers. Combining with Multi-group analysis, the major role of STEM education has been assessed in relation to plenty of correlations. In light of recent major and massive growth of English teaching market in Vietnam, several suggestions and recommendations in terms of sustainable developments have been displayed in this research.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>This study demonstrated the targeted delivery and controlled release of cisplatin drug molecules from doubly decorated mesoporous silica nanoparticles (MSNs), which were internally grafted with fluorescent conjugates and externally coated with polydopamine (PDA) and graphene oxide (GO) layers. The brush-like internal conjugates conferred fluorescent functionality and high capacity of cisplatin loading into MSNs, as well as contributing to a sustained release of the cisplatin through a porous channel with the assistance of external PDA layer. A consolidated double-layer formed by electrostatic interactions between the GO nanosheet and the PDA layer induced more controlled release kinetics which was well predicted by Higuchi model. In addition, Our MSNs exhibited stimuli (pH, NIR irradiation)-responsive controlled release as a potential chemo-photothermal agent against cancer cells. In a cell test, multifunctional MSNs showed a low toxicity itself, but gave a high cytotoxicity against human epithelial neuroblastoma cells (SH-SY5Y) after loading cisplatin. Notably, GO-wrapped MSNs exhibited very effective drug delivery because GO wrapping enhanced their dispensability in aqueous solution, photothermal heating effect, and efficient endocytosis into cells. Furthermore, monoclonal antibody (anti-human epidermal growth factor receptor)-conjugated MSNs showed a higher specificity, which resulted in more enhanced anticancer effects <I>in vitro</I>. The current study demonstrated a reliable synthesis of multifunctional MSNs, endowed with fluorescent imaging, stimuli-responsive controlled release, higher specificity, and efficient cytotoxicity toward cancer cells.</P> <P><B>Statement of Significance</B></P> <P>The current study demonstrated the reliable synthesis of multifunctional mesoporous silica nanoparticles (MSNs) with internal fluorescent conjugates and external polydopamine and graphene oxide (GO) layers. The combination of internal conjugates and external coating layers produced an effective pore closure effect, leading to controlled and sustained release of small drug molecules. Notably, GO wrapping improved the dispensability and cellular uptake of the MSNs, as well as enhanced drug-controlled release. Our multifunctional MSNs revealed very efficient drug delivery effects against human epithelial neuroblastoma cells by demonstrating several strengths: i) fluorescent imaging, ii) sustained and controlled release of small drug molecules, iii) efficient cellular uptake, cytotoxicity and specificity, and v) stimuli (pH, NIR irradiation)-responsive controlled release as a potential chemo-photothermal agent.</P> <P><B>Graphical abstract</B></P> <P>[DISPLAY OMISSION]</P>
Fabrication and Characteristics of Fully-sprayed ZnO/CdS/CuInS2 Solar Cells

This paper reports the successful fabrication of deposited Glass/ZnO/CdS/CuInS<sub>2</sub> solar cells with superstrate structure using Full Spray Pyrolysis Deposition (FSPD). The structure, optical and electrical properties of the constituent layers are investigated. It is observed that the CuInS<sub>2</sub> (CIS) film deposited from starting solution with [Cu]/[In] = 1.1, and Al-doped CuInS<sub>2</sub> (CIAS) film deposited from solution with [Cu]/[In] = 1.0, [Al]/[In] = 0.12, and using sulfurization process exhibited the best crystallites with tetragonal structure. The optical band gap of the CIAS film is obtained as 1.49 eV. Some physical properties of both ZnO, and CdS thin films are also studied. The parameters of the cells obtained are V<sub>OC</sub> = 425 mV, J<sub>SC</sub> = 14.02 mA/cm<sup>2</sup>, FF = 28.75% and efficiency of 1.71%. The results in our experiment show that FSPD is a potential technique to prepare solar cells based on CIS absorbers in a superstrate structure with low cost and high performance.
Investigating the Economic Relationship between Provinces in Vietnam: A Spatial Regression Approach

To develop provincial economies, it is necessary to focus on not only the internal resources of a province but also the relationship among provinces which can lead to the spillover effect throughout the country. This paper examines the economic relationship and spillover effect between provinces in Vietnam by spatial regression approach with data collected from 2010 to 2017 from statistical yearbooks. The results show that there exists a spatial correlation between provinces in terms of provincial gross domestic product, capital investment and labor force. The results also demonstrate that capital and labor factors not only affect the gross domestic product of the host province but also affect the neighboring ones. The finding implies the significant spillover effect between provinces.
Implementation of Rehabilitation Platform based on Augmented Reality Technology

Stroke is now one of the leading causes of death and disability in both motor and cognitive functions. In addition, rehabilitation for stroke survivors also faces many physical and human difficulties. To address this issue, we studied the use of Augmented Reality (AR) in rehabilitation using a system called RARS. This system creates limbs rehabilitation exercises in the form of games using an AR interface. The goal of the RARS is to increase patient’s positive emotions, which motivates them to enjoy rehabilitation exercises. As a result, recovery efficiency will be improved, and the burden on physiotherapists will be reduced. The RARS is evaluated through a research about the effectiveness of this system on rehabilitation for patients after stroke (n=10). Reported results showed that the RARS produced significant improvement in the patient’s indicators of functional status. From that, this system shows that it not only creates great benefits for personnel and economic but also bring about huge potential for future growth.
