<P>We present the rest-frame optical morphologies of active galactic nucleus (AGN) host galaxies at 1.5 < z < 3, using near-infrared imaging from the Hubble Space Telescope Wide Field Camera 3, the first such study of AGN host galaxies at these redshifts. The AGNs are X-ray-selected from the Chandra Deep Field South and have typical luminosities of 10(42) erg s(-1)< L-X < 10(44) erg s(-1). Accreting black holes in this luminosity and redshift range account for a substantial fraction of the total space density and black hole mass growth over cosmic time; they thus represent an important mode of black hole growth in the universe. We find that the majority (similar to 80%) of the host galaxies of these AGNs have low Sersic indices indicative of disk-dominated light profiles, suggesting that secular processes govern a significant fraction of the cosmic growth of black holes. That is, many black holes in the present-day universe grew much of their mass in disk-dominated galaxies and not in early-type galaxies or major mergers. The properties of the AGN host galaxies are furthermore indistinguishable from their parent galaxy population and we find no strong evolution in either effective radii or morphological mix between z similar to 2 and z similar to 0.05.</P>

In the present work, the effect of low temperature sintering, focusing on varying the sintering holding times on the mechanicalproperties, microstructure and low temperature degradation behavior of undoped and MnO2-doped Y-TZP ceramics wereinvestigated. Green samples were sintered at temperatures ranging from 1100 to 1250 oC at varying holding times rangingfrom 12 min. to 480 min. The sintered bodies were characterized in terms of bulk density, Vickers hardness, fracturetoughness, phase stability and grain size. The results indicated that the relative density of above 95%, Vickers hardness of 14GPa and fracture toughness of 5 MPam1/2 were obtained when sintered at lower sintering temperature (below 1250 oC) andlonger sintering times for MnO2-doped Y-TZP samples. Grain growth was marginal and the average grain size of all samplesranged between 0.14 and 0.28 µm. The results indicated that the grain growth kinetics was influenced mainly by the sinteringtemperature and not by the sintering holding time. The addition of MnO2 was found to be beneficial in enhancing densificationand mechanical properties of Y-TZP particularly at low sintering temperature of 1100 oC and low holding time of 12 min. Thelow-temperature degradation experiment conducted in superheated steam indicated that all the samples did not transformedto the monoclinic symmetry, attributed mainly to the lower grain size sintered at relatively low sintering temperatures

The purpose of this study is to explore the effects of mobilization of C0-C1 and C7-T1 applied to asymptomatic individuals with reduced upper cervical rotation during the FRT. Design: parallel randomized controlled trial. 48 subjects(38.52 years${\pm}15.13$) with C1-C2 rotation hypomobility in TFR joined the study and were randomized into three groups(C0, C7, control group). FRT in both directions was measured before and after the intervention. C0 intervention consisted of a dorsal translatoric mobilization of C0-C1 in the cervical neutral position. C7 intervention consisted of a ventral cranial translatoric mobilization of C7-T1 in neutral position and the control group maintained a supine position. C0 group experienced a FRT ROM to the restricted side increase of $17.64^{\circ}$(SD=4.55), that was significantly greater (P<0.001) than $5.95^{\circ}$(SD=4.81) of the C7 group and $2.45^{\circ}$(SD=5.05) of the control group. The results showed that a dorsal translatoric mobilization of C0-C1 in neutral position restored the physiological FRT mobility in subjects with C1-C2 hypomobility and experienced statistical significant improvement in FRT as compared to a C7-T1 translatoric mobilization and a control group.
