In this note, we characterize the graphs for which: N(T) ~= L2(T) and N(T) ~= L(T), where N(T), L2(T) and J(T) are neighborhood graph, 2nd iterated line graph and jump graph of a graph T=(V,E) respectively. In view of these characterizations, analogously we obtained the corresponding switching equivalence characterization. Also, we remarked the possible solutions for N(sigma) ~= J(sigma), where N(sigma) and J(sigma) are neighborhood signed graph and jump signed graph of a signed graph sigma=(Y.σ) respectively.

A NOTE ON OPTIMAL ORDER LEVEL FOR DETERIORATING ITEMS WITH UNIFORM DEMAND RATE

An optimal order level inventory problem is discussed with the uniform demand rate. It is assumed that the inventory system deals with three types of items with uniform demand rate and shortages are allowed. The scheduled time is xed for all the items deteriorate at a time varying rate. There is no repair or replacement of deteriorated items during the given cycle. In this problem we have taken mixed seasonal, non seasonal and purely seasonal items which are stored at own as well as rented ware houses. A numerical example is taken up to illustrate the solution procedure.
