        Analysis and Optimization of Fault Tolerant Permanent Magnet Vernier Rim Driven Machine Based on the Continuous Variable Magnetic Network Model

        Aiming at the time-consuming issue of traditional fi nite element analysis (FEA) method machine design and optimization, and the infl exibility of machine parameter verifi cation, an analysis and optimization method for the design of a fault tolerant permanent magnet vernier rim driven machine (FTPMV-RDM) based on the continuous variable magnetic network model (CVMNM) is proposed. The machine is modeled by the method using a combination of fl ux path and cross-shaped mesh, with full consideration of the eff ects of permanent magnet leakage and machine core saturation. Meanwhile, the connection relationship between the stator and rotor models can be continuously varied to simulate the rotation of the machine. The continuous variable magnetic network model is further combined with the Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm II (NSGA-II) for the optimal design of the machine. Compared to the conventional FEA method, the proposed model reduces the computation time without sacrifi cing accuracy in both no-load and loaded magnetic fi eld calculations. Finally, the experimental results verify the accuracy and eff ectiveness of the method proposed in this paper.

        Multibody dynamics analysis of a silent chain drive timing system

        Multibody dynamics analysis of a silent chain drive timing system can quickly detect system defects in the product design stage and shorten the development cycle. At present, most of the research on chain drives focuses on roller chains. A 3D silent chain drive timing system model considering the fluctuation of crankshaft sprocket speed and camshaft sprocket torque was established in this paper based on recursive algorithm and Hertz contact theory. The accuracy of the model was verified by comparing the experimental and simulation results of the chain tension. The simulation results show that the chain tension fluctuation with time is obviously affected by the camshaft torque fluctuation, and the maximum chain tension ranges from 233 N to 1202 N, which is less than the safe rotation fatigue limit 1600 N. When the crankshaft sprocket speed is 6000 r/min, the maximum contact force between the chain and crankshaft sprocket and slack guide is 751 N and 588 N, respectively. The maximum chain fluctuation caused by meshing impact between chain and sprocket and polygon effect is 0.52 mm and 0.48 mm, respectively. The system transmission error ranges from 0.14° to 0.38°, which is less than 1° of the maximum allowable transmission error.

        Three-Vector Model Predictive Current Control Strategy of PMSM for Marine Electric Propulsion Based on Three-Level Inverter

        Aiming at the problem of large torque ripple of permanent magnet synchronous motor in Marine electric propulsion system, the three-vector model predictive current control (MPCC) strategy based on three-level inverter is proposed. The use of three-level inverters provides more voltage vectors that two-level inverters cannot provide, increasing the number and type of voltage vectors, and three voltage vectors are used in each control cycle, including two eff ective voltage vectors and a zero vector, so that the amplitude and direction of the output voltage vector are adjustable, and eff ectively reducing the motor torque ripple and current harmonics. The action time of the three voltage vectors is calculated by the principle of current deadbeat control. The proposed control method was verifi ed by the StarSim simulation experimental platform of the ModelingTech Company. the experiment result shows that compared to the two-level dual-vector MPCC strategy, the torque ripple of the motor under the three-level three-vector MPCC strategy is reduced by 11.5% and 5.25% at half-load and rated-load respectively.

        Secure Convertible Undeniable Signature Scheme Using Extended Euclidean Algorithm without Random Oracles

        A convertible undeniable signature requires a verifier to interact with the signer to verify a signature and furthermore allows the signer to convert a valid one to publicly verifiable signature. In 2007, Yuen et al. proposed a convertible undeniable signature without random oracles in pairings. However, it is recently shown that Yuen et al.`s scheme is not invisible for the standard definition of invisibility. In this paper, we propose a new improvement by using extended Euclidean algorithm that can overcome the visibility attack. The proposed scheme has been evaluated based on computation and communication complexities and the performance comparisons of Yuen et al.`s scheme and various convertible undeniable signature schemes are provided. Moreover, it has been observed that the proposed algorithm reduces the computation and communication times significantly.
