EpCAM is a tumor-related antigen and is a cell surface glycoprotein expressed in colon cancer. EpCAM has been considered a potential target for tumor vaccines. In this study, Agrobacterium-mediated transformation was applied to produce genetically modified Chinese cabbage plants to express EpCAM-IgM FcK. To avoid the plant-specific N-glycosylation process occurring in Golgi devices, the KDEL ER sequence was attached to the C-terminal of Fc to refair the glycoprotein of ER. The recombianat protein productivity was maximized by developing a safe and efficient plant cell factory system using a genetically modified plant cell line expressing EpCAM-IgM FcK protein. In addition, plant seedlings expressing both EpCAM-IgM FcK and J-chain K were obtained by crossing. PCR confirmed that the EpCAM-IgM FcK gene present in the seedlings. Western Blot screened seedlings with high expression. Chinese cabbage protoplasts were obtained by successfully optimizing the protoplast separation protocol to perform single cell transcription analysis. Single cell transcription analysis was performed to reveal the cell types that highly express EpCAM-IgM FcK protein. Cell lines with high expression will be applied to plant cell factory systems to produce EpCAM-IgM FcK.
Nobiletin Inhibits Hepatic Lipogenesis via Activation of AMP-Activated Protein Kinase

<P>We aimed to investigate the effects of nobiletin on hepatic lipogenesis in high glucose-induced lipid accumulation in HepG2 cells. Nobiletin, a citrus polymethoxyflavonoid with six methoxy groups, is present abundantly in the peels of citrus fruits. HepG2 cells were incubated in Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium containing high glucose (25 mM) and subsequently treated with nobiletin at different concentrations (5, 25, and 50 <I>μ</I>M). Results showed that nobiletin markedly inhibited high glucose-induced hepatic lipid accumulation in HepG2 cells. In addition, it reduced the protein expression of lipogenic factors, including sterol regulatory element-binding protein 1c (SREBP-1c) and fatty acid synthase (FAS). Nobiletin significantly increased the phosphorylation of AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) and acetyl-CoA carboxylase. Pretreatment with compound C, an AMPK inhibitor, abolished the inhibitory effects of nobiletin on SREBP-1c and FAS expression. These results suggested that nobiletin might attenuate high glucose-induced lipid accumulation in HepG2 hepatocytes via modulation of AMPK signaling pathway. Therefore, nobiletin might be useful for the prevention and treatment of nonalcoholic fatty liver diseases.</P>

무인기를 위한 자율 시스템은 임무 목표, 임무 상황, 무인기의 상태를 기반으로, 목표 달성을 위해 현재 수행할 행동을 결정하는 의사결정 능력을 가진다. 본 논문에서는 지형 충돌 위험이 있는 저고도 운용, 방문 순서를 변경하지 않아야 하는 항로점 집합, 임무 대상 객체의 위치 불확실성 등 현실적인 제약조건 하에서 감시정찰 임무를 자율적으로 수행할 수 있는 의사결정 시스템과 이러한 특성을 효과적으로 표현할 수 있는 임무 정의를 제시한다. 제안한 의사결정 시스템을 Hardware-In-the-Loop Simulation 환경에서 현실적인 임무 상황을 반영한 3종의 시나리오를 통해 검증한다. 무인기의 비행 경로와 임무 상황에서 의사결정 시스템이 선택한 행동을 시뮬레이션 결과로 제시하고, 그 결과를 논의한다. Autonomous system for UAVs has a capability to decide an appropriate current action to achieve the goal based on the ultimate mission goal, context of mission, and the current state of the UAV. We propose a decision-making system that has an ability to operate ISR mission autonomously under the realistic limitation such as low altitude operation with high risk of terrain collision, a set of way points without change of visit sequence not allowed, and position uncertainties of the objects for the mission. The proposed decision-making system is loaded to a Hardware-In-the-loop Simulation environment, then tested and verified using three representative scenarios with a realistic mission environment. The flight trajectories of the UAV and selected actions via the proposed decision-making system are presented as the simulation results with discussion.

<P>An offset-compensated cross-coupled PFET bit-line (BL) conditioning circuit (OC-CPBC) and a selective negative BL write-assist circuit (SNBL-WA) are proposed for high-density FinFET static RAM (SRAM). The word-line (WL) underdrive read-assist and the negative BL write-assist circuits should be used for the stable operation of high-density FinFET SRAM. However, the WL underdrive read-assist circuit degrades the performance, and the negative BL write-assist circuit consumes a large amount of energy. The OC-CPBC enhances BL development during the evaluation phase by applying cross-coupled PFETs whose offset is compensated by precharging each of the two BLs separately through diode-connected cross-coupled PFETs. The SNBL-WA performs a write assist only when a write failure is detected, and this selective write assist reduces the write energy consumption. The simulation results show that the performance and energy consumption are improved by 41% and 48%, respectively, by applying the OC-CPBC and SNBL-WA to SRAM, even with a decrease in area.</P>

인도네시아 Cisangkuy 유역은 복잡한 수계 및 다양한 관리주체로 인해 수자원 운영에 많은 어려움이 있다. 본 연구에서는 MODSIM 모형을 이용하여 목적별 용수수요량 측면에서 물수지분석 체계를 구축하여 용수공급 가능율을 분석하였다. Pataruman 지점의 일 유량관측 자료(2002년~2012년)를 이용하여 모형의 적정성을 확인하였다. Cikalong 취수장에서 현재 1.9 ㎥/s를 취수시, Cipanunjang과 Cileunca댐 저수지 운영효율에 대하여 분석하였다. 현재 저수지 운영 곡선과 물수지 분석을 통해 수정된 운영곡선을 적용하여 분석한 결과, 발전용수 공급량은 1.41~2.71%로 증가하였고, Cikalong 취수장에 1.9 ㎥/s를 취수시 1년 중 부족일이 108일에서 73일로 저감되었으며, 농업용수 및 생활용수 부족일도 저감되는 것으로 분석되었다. Cikalong 취수장에서 3.3 ㎥/s의 취수조건에서 신규 Santosa 댐에서 공급해야할 최소공급유량을 시행착오법으로 수행한 결과, 우기인 12월부터 5월까지는 3.2~4.05 ㎥/s, 건기인 6월부터 11월까지는 2.1~3.32 ㎥/s를 공급해야 추가 취수에도 문제가 없는 것으로 검토되었다. There are many difficulties in operation of water resources due to complicated water system and various management subjects in the Cisangkuy basin of the Indonesia. In this study, a MODSIM model was eveloped to analyze the potential discharge to the water supply by constructing a water balance analysis system in terms of water demand for each purpose. In case of the current 1.9㎥/s is taken from the Cikalong intake station, the reservoir operation efficiency of the Cipanunjang and Cileunca dam is analyzed. The model was validated using the daily discharge measurement data(2002~2012 year) of the Pataruman. The analysis for reservoir operation efficiency was conducted by applying current reservoir operating pattern curve and modified operating curve derived from this water budget analysis. The water supply for power generation was increased about 1.41%~2.71%. In case of 1.9 ㎥/s was taken from the Cikalong, the shortage date in one year was reduced from 108 days to 73 days and the shortages for the agricultural demand and residental demand were also reduced. Required minimum water capacity from the new Santosa dam was calculated by the trial and error method with 3.3 ㎥/s of intake condition at the Cikalong. As the result, the required water supply from the Santosa was estimated 3.2~4.05 ㎥/s in wet season (December~may) and 2.1~3.32 ㎥/sec in dry season (June~November).
