The purpose of the present research is to compare characteristics of maximal anaerobic power observed in different types of sports and player's sex differences. We have reached the following conclusions from the results we obtained by measuring maximal anaerobic power and blood lactate concentration of 60 elite university male and female players during the exercise of bicycle ergometer: 1. As to absolute and relative values of maximal anaerobic power, male players are higher in the order of rugby and handball, whereas female players are higher in the order of hockey and soccer, but no significant differences are observed between types of sports. 2. Male players are noticably higher in absolute values of maximal anaerobic power(p<0.001), but relative value is very simi1ar to that of female players. 3. It is estimated that the fact, that female players show obvious higher mean anaerobic power(p<0.001) during the 3,4KP excercise is due to sex differences in ocdurrence work load of maximal anaerobic power. 4. Comparison of blood lactate concentration at each work load in different types of sports and player's sex differences show an increase in proportion to mean anaerobic power. The results given above clearly show the differences between the type of sports such as rugby and hockey requiring power and speed, and the type of sports such as handball and soccer requiring edurance.

The effects of high hydrostatic pressure (HHP) or concentration treatment or sodium hydrogen carbonate addition on microbial and quality properties of cold drip liquid coffee were investigated during storage at room temperature. Cold drip liquid coffee was determined to pH, acidity, general bacteria, and Y&M (Yeast and Molds) according to HHP treatment or adding 0.2% sodium hydrogen carbonate for 40 days storage at 20°C. Also, an equivalent mixture of concentrated coffee and cold drip liquid coffee or liquid coffee with 0.2% sodium hydrogen carbonate was used for determining the sensory evaluation, due-trio and preference test. The cold drip liquid coffee with 0.2% sodium hydrogen carbonate had higher pH and lower titratable acidity than the control during 40 days storage at 20°C. Total viable cell and Y&M counts of cold drip liquid coffee added with 0.2% sodium hydrogen carbonate or treated by HHP at 300 MPa for 25 min were lower than the control during storage at 20°C. The result of the due-trio and preference tests shows that there was no significant difference between cold drip liquid coffee added to 0.2% sodium hydrogen carbonate and the control or between the equivalent mixture of concentrated coffee with cold drip liquid coffee and the control. As a results, Cold drip liquid coffee treated by HHP, concentrated by evaporation, and added to sodium hydrogen carbonate has a potential to extend a shelf life at ambient temperature storage.
Analysis of Gears for a Small Multi-purpose Cultivator using Simulation

In recently, agricultural population has increased in aging population and women farmers. Therefore, small cultivator is widely used for field operation due to the field of small scale in Korea. This paper is a study that measured and analyzed the engine torque of the small cultivator by ditching rotor operation. Then safety factor and fatigue life was predicted of PTO gears for a small cultivator using the ISO 6336 and Miner’s rule. A load measurement system was constructed with torque sensors to measure the torque of a engine, a measurement device to acquire sensor signals using DAQ NI-USB 6212 and LabView. The PTO gear safety factor and fatigue life prediction of cultivator during rotary tillage was performed using a simulation model. The simulation model was developed by using commercial the KISSsoft software. Field operation was conducted at one transmission gear stage 1st and 2nd PTO gear stage (1st, 2nd) with similar soil conditions. The load data was converted to a load spectrum using the rain-flow counting method and SWT (Smith Watson Topper) equations. The results showed that PTO gear stage was higher consequently the safety factor was increased. Fatigue life of PTO gear shows that Gear 3 was the lowest life. Therefore, farmers should carefully determine the gear stage of the cultivator by considering the load and durability of the machine.

<P>A superconducting current limiter should secure the stability of a power system by making it durable. That is, even if a fault current is applied repeatedly to a superconductor, its characteristics should remain unchanged. The fault angle at the fault time within a power system varies depending on the failure position, cause, and type. Therefore, to investigate the durability of a superconducting current-limiting element, it is necessary to examine the quenching characteristics based on the fault angles. In this paper, a YBCO-coated conductor, whose current-limiting ability and stability had been proven in previous studies, was used to manufacture superconducting current-limiting elements and conduct a durability test. The durability test measured the quenching characteristics while a fault current was applied repeatedly at certain intervals depending on the fault angles. The superconducting wire used in the durability test was a YBCO-coated conductor with a stainless stabilization layer, which showed the best mechanical characteristics among the various thin-film-type wires.</P>

PURPOSE. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of pretreatment of three different universal adhesives (Single Bond Universal [SBU], All-Bond Universal [ABU], and Prime&Bond universal [PBU]) on the bonding durability of an adhesive (Panavia F 2.0, PF) and a conventional (Duo-Link, DL) resin cements to air-abraded zirconia. MATERIALS AND METHODS. Rectangular-shaped zirconia specimens were prepared. The chemical composition and surface energy parameters of the materials were studied by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and contact angle measurement, respectively. To evaluate resin bonding to the zirconia, all the bonding specimens were immersed in water for 24 h and the specimens to be aged were additionally thermocycled 10000 times before the shear bond strength (SBS) test. RESULTS. The materials showed different surface energy parameters, including the degree of hydrophilicity/hydrophobicity. While the DL/CON (no pretreatment) showed the lowest SBS and a significant decrease in the value after thermocycling (P < .001), the PF/CON obtained a higher SBS value than the DL/CON (P < .001) and no decrease even after thermocycling (P = .839). When the universal adhesives were used with DL, their SBS values were higher than the CON (P < .05), but the trend was adhesive-specific. In conjunction with PF, the PF/SBU produced the highest SBS followed by the PF/ABU (P = .002), showing no significant decrease after thermocycling (P > .05). The initial SBS of the PF/PBU was similar to the PF/CON (P = .999), but the value decreased after thermocycling (P < .001). CONCLUSION. The universal adhesive pretreatment did not necessarily show a synergistic effect on the bonding performance of an adhesive resin cement, whereas the pretreatment was beneficial to bond strength and durability of a conventional resin cement.
유기성 폐기물을 재활용한 바이오차 제조 방법 및 이를 이용한 완효성비료 제조방법

세계는 지금 기후변화가 아닌 기후위기속에서 몸부림치고 있다. 기후변화로 폭우와 산불의 발생 등으로 인명과 재산피해가 끊임없이 발생하고있다. 이에 그동안 기후문제에 큰 관심이 없던 정부와 기업 그리고 국민들까지 기후문제에 대한 생각의 변화가 나타나기 시작했다. 하지만 기후위기에 대처하는 방법으로 특별히 제시되고 있는 부분이 없는 것이 현실이다. 이에 바이오차는 바이오매스를 350도 이상에서 열분해하여 난분해성탄소로 만들어 토양에 탄소를 저장하는 탄소격리의 역할을 해주며 이는 기존의 이산화탄소저감방안이 탄소평형인데 반해 탄소네가티브라는 큰 장점이 있다. 바이오차는 사용이 가능한 바이오매스를 사용하는 것이 아닌 농업부산물, 축산부산물, 생활부산물등의 기존에 재활용율이 극히 낮은 폐기물을 사용함으로써 폐기물관리와 이산화탄소의 저감, 작물 생산성 향상, 열분해시 발생하는 Syngas를 에너지화 시킬수 있는 여러 가지 장점이 있다. 이러한 바이오차는 2019 Refindment to the 2006 IPCC Guidelines for National Greenhouse Gas Inventories에 이산화탄소저감방안으로 승인되었다. 따라서 바이오차의 생성 공정에서 농업부산물인 왕겨와 축산부산물인 계분, 생활부산물인 커피박을 주원료로 하여 바이오차의 생성온도, 부숙도, 탄소와 수소 및 질소 인산 칼리 등의 성분 함량을 분석하여 토양탄소격리에 적합한지 판단하기 위해 본 연구를 수행하였다.
