        Physical properties of waterborne soft feel coatings for instrument panel were investigated. Soft feel coatings give warm and velvet touch for cold and hard plastic materials. Waterborne soft feel coating is composed with two parts. Part A contains polyester polyurethane dispersion (PE-PUD), OH-functional water dispersible polyurethane resin (PC-PUD) and OH-functional water dispersible alkyd resin (OH-PA). Part B contains hydrophilic hexamethylene diisocyanate trimer (HHDI). Soft feeling of coated panel was related with the amounts of PC-PUD and OH-PA. The physical properties of coated panel could be controlled by the NCO/OH ratio from Part A and Part B. Soft feeling was enhanced with relevant to PE-PUD content but the content of PE-PUD was limited because of weakening of coated film strength. For excellent touch and good property, the optimum composition of soft feel coat was PC-PUD(30%) and PE-PUD(20%). The results from all reliability tests satisfied soft feeling, scratch, chemical resistance and fogging.

        수중 유기물처리를 위한 광펜톤반응의 최적조건 도출

        Fenton is the reaction using the OH· radicals generating by interaction between hydrogen peroxide and Fe<sup>2+</sup> which can oxidize the contaminants. Fe<sup>2+</sup> ions are oxidized to Fe<sup>3+</sup> ions by reaction with H<sub>2</sub>O<sub>2</sub> and formed OH· radicals. UV-Fenton process includes the additional reaction that generates the OH· radicals by photodegradation of H<sub>2</sub>O<sub>2</sub>. In methylorange (MO) decolourization experiment with UV-Fenton, optimal Fe<sup>2+</sup>: H<sub>2</sub>O<sub>2</sub> ratio was obtained at 1 : 10. Based on the obtained condition (H<sub>2</sub>O<sub>2</sub>= 10mM, Fe<sup>2+</sup> = 1 mM) with/without UV-fenton experiment was carried out. Removal efficiency and sludge production were measured at 30 min. The case of w/o UV irradiation and only H<sub>2</sub>O<sub>2</sub> was hardly treated and only Fe<sup>2+</sup> showed 65% removal owing to coagulation. When UV-Fenton process in optimal ratio (Fe<sup>2+</sup>: H<sub>2</sub>O<sub>2</sub> = 1 : 10), UV irradiation showed better removal efficiency than of w/o UV irradiation. Also, MO decolourization was a function of the hydrogen peroxide concentration (x<sub>1</sub>), Fe<sup>2+</sup>:H<sub>2</sub>O<sub>2</sub> ratio (x<sub>2</sub>), and numbers of UV lamp (x<sub>3</sub>) from the application of the response surface methodology. Statistical results showed the order of significance of the independent variables to be hydrogen peroxide concentration > numbers of UV l amp > Fe<sup>2+</sup>: H<sub>2</sub>O<sub>2</sub> ratio.

      • 共沈法에 의한 Ferroxplana (Ba₂Zn₂Fe O)의 合成과 磁氣特性

        GHz대 통신에 사용되는 Ferroxplana (Ba₂Zn₂Fe??O??)를 제조하기 위하여 최적의 공침 조건과 건조 조건을 새로 고안한 기구를 사용하여 공침합성하였다. 이 방법으로 제조한 시료는 미세한 분말이었으며, 소결시편의 조성과 미구조는 X.R.D, DAT 및 현미경으로 조사하였다. 하소시편 내의 Zn₂Y의 활성화 에너지는 약 3.75-4.10×10⁴J/mole이었으며 소결시편에는 Zn₂Y상외 BaM과 Zn₂W상도 발견되었다. 이렇게 제조된 시편은 고주파 통신용 자기 코아로써 적용 가능하였다. In order to precipitate ferroxplana(Ba₂Zn₂Fe??O??), which is useful for GHz-band communication, the optimum co-precipitating and drying condition were investigated by use of a new apparatus. By the freezing-drying, aceton-compulsion drying, hot petroleum drying and calcining the co-precipitated mixtures, the fine and uniform powder was obtained, whose phase composition and microstructure were studied by X.R.D,, DTA and metallurgical microscope. In results, it was found Zn₂Y, BaM and Zn₂W were the representativ phases in calcined specimens and crystal growth activation energy of Zn₂Y was about 3.75-4.10×10⁴J/mole. The sintered specimens would be appreciated as useful magnetic cores for the high frequency communication.

      • 알쯔하이머병의 단일 광전자 방출 뇌전산화 촬영에서 전형적인 유형과 관계를 보이는 요인

        연구목적 : 최근 기능적 영상진단의 발전은 치매 환자의 진단에 많은 도움을 주고 있으며 이중 단일광자방출전산화단층촬영(SPECT ; single photon emission computed tomography)은 알쯔하이머 병의 특징적인 양측 두정측두엽의 혈류 감소를 보이므로 알쯔하이머 병의 진단에 많이 사용되어지고 있다. 본 연구는 알쯔하이머병의 SPECT 소견을 분석함으로써 알쯔하이머병의 진단에 있어서 SPECT 검사의 유용성 및 알쯔하이머병에서 전형적인 유형에 영향을 미치는 요인이 무엇인지를 규명한다. 방 법 : NINCDS-ADRDA진단 기준에 의거한 probable AD환자 26명을 대상으로 SPECT 검사를 시행하였으며 이중 14명은 전형적인 SPECT 소견을 보였으며 나머지 12명은 비전형적인 SPECT소견을 보였다. 치매의 정도는 Mini-Mental State Examination(MMSE)에 의하여 결정하였고 SPECT소견은 2명의 핵의학과 전문의의 합의에 의하여 정성적으로 판독하여 분석하였다. SPECT의 전형적인 소견과 연관이 있는 요소들을 확인하기 위하여 판별함수분석을 시행하였다. 결 과 : 알쯔하이머 환자에서 SPECT의 민감도는 53.8%이며, 조기 발병군의 경우에는 민감도가 76.9%이었다. 알쯔하이머의 전형적인 형태인 양측성 두정측두엽에 혈류량이 감소한 경우는 조기 발병군에서 유의하게 관찰되었으며, 이외에 이환기간, 교육정도, 성,병의 진행정도, 아포지단백E등은 유의한 연관성이 없었다. 결 론 : SPECT검사의 민감도는 높지 않으나 이를 조기 발병군에서만 적용하였을 경우 그 임상적 유용성이 높을 것으로 생각되며 조기 발병군에서 SPECT검사의 민감도가 만기 발병군에 비하여 유의하게 높은 것으로 보아 알쯔하이머병이 단일하지 않고 이질적인 집단의 증후군일 가능성이 높을 것으로 생각된다. 즉 SPECT검사가 알쯔하이머병의 진단뿐 아니라 병태생리적 기전의 이해에 도움이 될 것으로 생각되며 앞으로 정량화와 많은 중례를 확보하여 이에 대하여 좀더 규명할 필요가 있을 것으로 생각된다. Objectives : During the past few years, the development of functional brain imaging techniques has allowed to describe brain impairment in cognitive disorders. Among them, based on the observation of bilateral parietotemporal hypoperfusion in Alzheimer's disease(AD), single photon emission computed tomography(SPECT) is advocated by some as powerful diagnostic tool in the evaluation of demented patients. The aim of this study is to investigate the usefulness of SPECT in the diagnosis of AD and to clarify the associated factors of parietotemporal hypoperfusion, the typical SPECT pattern of Alzheimer's disease(AD). Methods : We reviewed the SPECT scans of 26 patients fulfilling NINCDS-ADRDA criteria for probable AD, 14 with typical pattern of SPECT and 12 with atypical pattern of SPECT. Dementia severity was assessed by the Mini-Mental State Examination. Inage interpretation was done visually by the consensus opinion of 2 experienced nuclear medicine physicians who were blind to clinical information. To estimate the association of typical pattern of SPECT with other variables of interest, discriminant function analysis was done. Results : Though the overall diagnostic sensitivity of SPECT in AD was 53.8%, it was 76.9%, in early-onset AD patients. Typical pattern of SPECT was more frequent in the patients with early onset on the symptoms. Duration of symptoms, duration of education, se, severity of disease was not associated with this SPECT pattern. Conclusion : These findings may be useful in the clinical setting and point to heterogeneity of AD according to age at onset.

        We proposed an ultra low speed control or the SLIM(Sing1e-sided Linear Induction Motor) for a conveyance system using decoupled thrust control. The voltage equations of SLIM are expressed on the suitable α-β axis by the proposed equivalent circuit, which can analyze the characteristics thrust and normal force and so on. These control methods, which include the slip angular frequency control and the decoupling control for the thrust and normal force by analyzing these parameters, and can be successfully driven without interfering with each axis. These results exemplify the linear drive of SLIM with the reference value.

        Wavelet analysis is applying to many fields such as the time-frequency localization of a time series and a time varying data. In this paper, a statistical testing based Wavelet power spectrum analysis for the stationary Nino3 Sea Surface Temperature(S.S.T) data was executed. Specially, the 95% confidence level for S.S.T was effective in searching the periods of El-Nino using various wavelet basis functions.

      • Behc¸et 병에서 말초혈액 호중구의 Superoxide anion (O₂^(-)) 생성 능력에 관한 연구

        The present study was carried out to investigate the mechanism of inflammtion and tissue injury in Behcet's disease. The generation of O₂(-) was assessed by superoxide dismutase inhibitable cytochromec reduction method. The O₂(-) generation activity was expressed as nanomoles of cytochrome c reduced per 1×10^(6) neutrophils. The O₂(-)generation activity of peripheral blood neutrophils of the patients was compared to that of healthy controls, and was analyzed in the respect of clinical severity, exacerbation and improvement, pathergy reaction, and tetracycline treatment for oral ulcer. The results were summarized as follows : 1. The O₂(-) generation activity of neutrophils in Behcet's disease was markedly increased as compared with that of healthy controls. 2. In the patient group with severe clinical symptoms, exacerbated clinical course and positive pathergy reaction, the O₂(-) generation activity of neutrophils was increased. 3. The O₂(-) generation activity of neutrophils was markedly decreased in the patient group treated with tetracycline for oral ulcer.

      • 간접적응 신경회로망을 이용한 안테나 축받이 시스템의 안정화

        In this paper, the stabilization control problems of antenna pedestal system under the parametric variations and non-linearities such as gravity torque and under external disturbances were described. The proposed controller could stabilize the given antenna system by an indirect adaptive neural network controller. The proposed indirect adaptive neural network controller was consist of an indirect off-line model identifier by neural network and an adaptive on-line neural network controller, based on the reference model and the least square method. The designed controller was applied to an stabilization control of Inmarsat-M antenna pedestal system with the azimuth and the elevation axis. The simulation results were desirable and were superior to the conventional PID controller tuned by Ziegler-Nichols' method.

      • HDPE 개질 아스팔트 혼합물의 강도 및 변형특성

        본 연구는 폐비닐 펠렛을 도로포장재료로 재활용하여 자원절약 및 아스팔트 혼합물의 품질향상을 위한 연구이다. 이를 위하여 폐비닐의 첨가량별 배합설계를 수행하여 적정 폐비닐 첨가량과 최적 아스팔트 함량으로 편마암과 화강암 2가지 골재와 폐비닐인 RHDPE의 함량을 4가지로 혼합물을 제작하여 8종류의 재질 혼합물과 2종류의 무개질 혼합물을 제작하였다. 그리고 이 공시체에 대하여 마샬안정도, 간접인장강도 및 Kim test와 반복주행시험 등 실내시험을 통하여 혼합물의 특성을 분석하였다. 폐비닐 첨가량은 RHDPE가 8%일 때 안정도와 간접인장강도 모두 가장 우수한 것으로 나타났고 취성도 나타나지 않았다. RHDPE를 첨가한 혼합물에 대하여 Kim test를 수행한 결과 DR과 DS 모두 높은 상관성을 보였다. 그리고 반복주행시험에서는 RHDPE를 첨가한 혼합물이 일반 혼합물보다 우수하였다. 향후 많은 실험을 통해 RHDPE의 우수성을 입증한다면 소성변형 저항성에 우수한 재료로 이용될 수 있을 것이다. This study is a fundamental research for recycled high-density polyethylene (RHDPE) in asphalt mixture for improving roadway pavement. Marshall mix design was conducted and optimum asphalt content(OAC) was determined for dense-graded surface course mixture by RHDPE content. Marshall stability test, indirect tensile strength (ITS) test, wheel tracking trest and Kim-test were carried out to measure the characteristics of RHDPE-added asphalt concretes. From the results of this study, RHDPE in asphalt mixture if possible. It could be considered that adding too much RHDPE in asphalt mixture is not proper. The optimum content of RHDPE was appeared to be 8%. In Kim-test, statistical analysis was performed for each loading head and aggregate to find out correlation between S_(D) values and each rut parameter. The analysis result showed that S_(D) had very high coefficient of determination with rut parameters on the average.
