<P>A facile drug delivery system for prednisolone 21-acetate (PA) based on dual-responsive core cross-linked (CCL) micelles was prepared efficiently by alkyne-azide click chemistry. Poly(ethylene oxide)-b-poly(glycidyl methacrylate), PEO-b-PGMA, was firstly synthesized by reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization, and the PGMA parts were subsequently functionalized with azido groups. The CCL micelles of the PEO-b-PGMA-N-3 and covalently entrapped PA were prepared simultaneously using the alkyne-functionalized hydrazone-containing PA and disulfide-containing cross-linking agent in the presence of CuSO4 center dot 5H(2)O and sodium ascorbate. The CCL micelles showed a much improved PA loading efficiency (83%) compared to physically loaded micellar system. The CCL micelles illustrated the structural stability of the micelles under physiological condition, while decross-linking through the cleavage of disulfide groups took place rapidly in dithiothreitol reduction circumstance. In addition, the pH-sensitive hydrolysis of the hydrazone groups in PA derivative in the micellar core presented a burst release of the drug at pH 5 and 37 degrees C in marked contrast to little release at pH 7.4. <P>PbS and PbS/CdS core/shell colloidal quantum dots (QDs) were mixed with As2S3 glass powders to prepare solid composite materials. PbS QDs showed an absorption band centered at a wavelength of lambda = 1478 nm and a photoluminescence (PL) band centered at lambda = 1547 nm. PbS/CdS core/shell QDs had higher PL intensity than did bare PbS QDs. Solid composites made by mixing QDs and As2S3 glass powders showed clear PL bands at lambda = 1385 nm. Optical fibers of As2S3 glass can be prepared from these composite materials if appropriate scale-up technology is realized. (C) 2015 Elsevier BM. All rights reserved.</P>

<P>2-deoxyribose-5-phosphate aldolase (DERA) is a class I aldolase that catalyzes aldol condensation of two aldehydes in the active site, which is particularly germane in drug manufacture. Structural and biochemical studies have shown that the active site of DERA is typically loosely packed and displays broader substrate specificity despite sharing conserved folding architecture with other aldolases. The most distinctive structural feature of DERA compared to other aldolases is short and flexible C-terminal region. This region is also responsible for substrate recognition. Therefore, substrate tolerance may be related to the C-terminal structural features of DERA. Here, we determined the crystal structures of full length and C-terminal truncated DERA from Streptococcus suis (SsDERA). In common, both contained the typical (alpha/beta)(8) TIM-barrel fold of class I aldolases. Surprisingly, C-terminal truncation resulting in missing the last alpha 9 and beta 8 secondary elements, allowed DERA to maintain activity comparable to the fulllength enzyme. Specifically, Arg186 and Ser205 residues at the C-terminus appeared mutually supplemental or less indispensible for substrate phosphate moiety recognition. Our results suggest that DERA might adopt a shorter C-terminal region than conventional aldolases during evolution pathway, resulting in a broader range of substrate tolerance through active site flexibility.</P>
Analysis of Sperm Ability in Specific Pathogen Free Miniature pig for Production of Bio-Organ

The purpose of this study was the analysis of sperm ability in Specific Pathogen Free (SPE) miniature pig for production of bio-organ. The collected semen was diluted with extender and stored at 17℃ for up to 7 days. The semen samples were evaluated at 0, 1, 3, 5, and 7 days of storage for analysis of sperm ability. Sperm ability was evaluated by examining viability, progressive motility, sperm abnormality and intensity of the sperm membrane. Also, the semen was processed according to the convenient freezing method, and frozen-thawed sperm was evaluated by examining viability, capacitation and acrosome reaction using chlortetracycline (CTC) staining. Motility of spermatozoa of SPF miniature pig was significantly (P<0.05) lower on 3 days or later compared to the Duroc, Yorkshire and Landrace in domestic boar. The percentage of abnormal spermatozoa of Landrace were significantly (P<0.05) higher than in SPF miniature pig, Duroc and Yorkshire that had a similar percentage on 5 or 7 days of sperm storage. The percentage of spermatozoa with coiled tail decreased during the storage period but there were no significant difference. On the other hand, viability of frozen-thawed spermatozoa had a significantly (P<0.05) lower in SPF miniature pig than in other domestic boars. CTC patterns had no significant difference, but SPF miniature pig had higher percentage of capacitated spermatozoa and lower percentage of acrosome-reacted it than domestic boars. Therefore, this study suggest that it is necessary to develop the suitable extender and freezing methods methods for the high viable rate and fertilizing ability in vitro.
Constructing Model Estimating International Tourist`S Satisfaction Using Homestay in Hoi An

Homestay accommodation is a term with specific cultural associations such as private homes, interaction with a host or host-family, sharing of space. In Hoi An, homestays have strongly increased in quality, attracted more and more guests staying and hugely contributed to the provincial tourism revenue from 2006 to now. However, many homestays have not effectively operated yet. Therefore, in order to increase the number of home stayers and attract more visitors revisit to Hoi An, the study researched factors that affecting international visitors` homestay satisfaction in Hoi An. The study was conducted on both forms of the qualitative and quantitative research through the two-step discovery and formal study. Based on discovery research, we used the cronbach alpha reliability index and the exploration factor analysis (EFA) to evaluate and adjust the discovery scale. Then, the reliability of the scale and theoretical model was verified by confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and structural equation modeling (SEM). The results of this study are (1) exploring factors which influence tourists` homestay satisfaction, and (2) suggesting some solutions for Hoi An city and homestay operators in attracting more tourist returning.

Service quality is an important factor effecting park management, and customers’ satisfaction. High service quality will providing high satisfaction. When customers satisfy, they will revisit the park and willing introduce to another customer. So, evaluating service quality is very important to park managers. The results of evaluation will help park managers increasing service quality and visitor return rate. The research using Importance - Performance Analysis (IPA) to measure the quality of Asian Park. The results of research suggesting some solutions for managers to improve service quality, increasing customer satisfaction and attracting more visitors.
