Factors developing brand loyalty through social media influencers (SMIs) are immensely important to academics and marketing practitioners since it is a remarkable driver of organizational success. This research investigates the impact of SMIs homophily in developing customer brand engagement (CBE) and its impact on BL. We collected valid data from 412 respondents using laptop brands in Pakistan and used structural equation modeling to analyze the data. The findings indicate that the SMIs homophily is crucial in establishing CBE and BL. The results further show that CBE’s emotional and cognitive dimensions significantly mediate the relationship between SMIs homophily and BL. However, the emotional CBE has a stronger mediating impact on BL. The study provides valuable insights for brandmanagers to hire SMIs who resemble their fans to grab their loyalty toward the brand. This study unfolds new avenues in social media marketing, consumer behavior, and branding literature by understanding the association between SMIs homophily, CBE, and BL.

Nabil Ahmed Mareai SENAN,Suhaib ANAGREH,Borhan Omar Ahmad AL-DALAIEN,Fatehi ALMUGARI,Amgad S,D,KHALED,Eissa A,AL-HOMAIDI 한국유통과학회 2021 The Journal of Asian Finance, Economics and Busine Vol.8 No.6
The purpose of this study is to examine how Indian commercial banks’ performance can be improved by determinants of working capital management. This study uses both static models Generalised Moments Method (GMM) and pooled, fixed, and random-effects. The study is based on balanced panel data for 98 Indian banks from 2008 to 2018. Performance is defined by two indicators, namely, return on assets (ROA) and return on equity (ROE). While, working capital cycle, profit after tax, assets size, financial leverage, quick ratio, current ratio, return on capital employed, return on total assets, net profit margin, and monetary policy rate are used as independent variables. The results showed that net profit margin, profit after tax, monetary policy, and working capital cycle are the most important working capital factors that influence Indian commercial banks’ performance measured by (ROA). Moreover, among the working capital, the results showed that current ratio, assets size, net profit margin ratio, and return on capital employees have significant positive effects on (ROE). The article’s novelty and importance come from its recommendation that policymakers in emerging markets should motivate and enable managers and stakeholders to pay more attention to working capital by raising consumer awareness and increasing knowledge disclosure.
Lab-on-Chip Technology: A Review on Design Trends and Future Scope in Biomedical Applications
Shagun Gupta,Kritika Ramesh,Suhaib Ahmed,Vipan Kakkar 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Bio-Science and Bio-Techn Vol.8 No.5
Lab-on-Chip (LoC) integrates various analyses such as biochemical operations, chemical synthesis, DNA sequencing onto a single chip which otherwise would have been performed in laboratory taking sufficient amount of time. Due to the miniaturization of these biochemical operations, better diagnostic speed, cost efficiency, ergonomy, sensitivity and so on can be achieved. This paper gives the detailed description of Lab-on-Chip technology including its system components. Ongoing worldwide research projects based on LoC technology have been investigated and various constraints that need to be fulfilled for designing a LoC system are presented. The biomedical applications of LoC in different fields like in diagnostics, cellomics, in environmental studies to control the effect of pathogens, to check the food quality such as for the detection of various antibiotic families in raw milk have also been discussed. Finally, the current open research issues of this technology along with the possible future research scope in the biomedical area have been presented.
A Comprehensive Study on Design Trends and Future Scope of Implantable Drug Delivery Systems
Kritika Ramesh,Shagun Gupta,Suhaib Ahmed,Vipan Kakkar 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Bio-Science and Bio-Techn Vol.8 No.6
Implantable Drug Delivery System (IDDS) emerges as an achievement in healthcare that promises to optimize the therapeutic properties of drug and reduce the risks in life threatening disorders like cancer, ischemic heart attack, brain stroke, aids. The design of an implantable drug delivery system that has been made viable by the convergence of a controller for decision making and a drug delivery mechanism that delivers drug at the site of action has been discussed. This paper presents a first of its kind survey on the need for an implantable drug delivery system along with the research projects being carried out in the area of control design and drug delivery mechanisms. The advantages of IDDS are detailed with the challenges and design constraints that are faced while designing these systems. With IDDS, the patient compliance and quality of life can be enhanced considerably. This paper also investigates the possible future research scope and applications of IDDS such as for chronic disorders that need to be regularly monitored and timely treated.
