메타버스형 가상 박물관의 사례 연구에 따른 발전 방향 제안: 개인화와 공유를 중심으로

연구배경 본 연구의 목표는 메타버스라는 기술을 소개하고, 가상 박물관 운영에 있어서 메타버스 기술의 활용을 제안하는 것이다. 특히 메타버스의 새로운 요소로 개인화와 공유를 언급하고, 이를 바탕으로 가상 박물관의 메타버스 서비스 기획 및 운영 방향성을 제시한다. 연구방법 본 연구는 문헌 분석을 통해 메타버스 기술의 개념과 구성 요소에 대해 학술적으로 접근하고, 사례 분석 및 심층 인터뷰를 통해 국내외 미술관들이 어떻게 메타버스를 도입하였는지 소개하고 비교 분석하고자 한다. 또한, 국립현대미술관 온라인미술관의 김채은 담당자와 심층 인터뷰를 진행하여, 해당 온라인미술관에서 관리하는 채널들의 실제 데이터 활용 실태를 확인하고 본 연구에서 제시할 메타버스 서비스 기획 및 운영 방향성 제시에 참고하고자 하였다. 연구결과 본 연구는 3차원 그래픽 세계 안에서 완전한 가상 경험을 제공하는 ‘버추얼 월드’ 유형이 관람객에게 실제 박물관에서는 체험할 수 없었던 새로운 전시 경험을 제공하기에 가장 활발히 활용된다고 제안한다. 결론 이용자가 스스로 개인적 의미와 가치를 담은 콘텐츠를 생산하는 것을 유도하여 개인화 맞춤형 서비스를 제공하기 위한 소스 데이터로 활용해야 함을 제안하고, 가상 박물관 내 메타버스에서 이용한 콘텐츠들을 메타버스 내외부의 플랫폼으로 공유함으로써 메타버스 플랫폼에 대한 이용자의 이용 빈도와 체류 시간을 높여야 함을 주장한다. Background The purpose of the study is to introduce ‘metaverse’ technology and suggest the metaverse platforms as a medium for providing virtual museum service. In particular, this study proposes ‘personalization’ and ‘sharing the contents’ as the new characteristics of metaverse platform to manage the virtual museum service by utilizing metaverse technology. Methods This study introduces the theoretical background of the metaverse, such as the concept and characteristics of the metaverse technology. To make metaverse technology more feasible in virtual museum service, this study present and analyze the cases of the virtual museums that utilized metaverse in Korea and abroad. Also, an in-depth interview with Chae-Eun Kim, a manager of the online museum in the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art(MMCA), was conducted to figure out the actual management case of online museum channels of MMCA. Result This study encourages the virtual museum to apply metaverse technology with two aspects. Conclusion First, we suggest to introduce ‘Virtual world’ type to provide a novel experience that cannot be happened in the real museum. Second, we suggest to allow the users to create their contents by using the metaverse-virtual museum contents, and utilize the data from the contents to provide customized service. Also, encourage the users to share their content freely to increase the users’ activities.

<P>Clostridium difficile infection (CDI) is one of the most common nosocomial infections. Dysbiosis of the gut microbiota due to consumption of antibiotics is a major contributor to CDI. Recently, fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) has been applied to treat CDI. However, FMT has important limitations including uncontrolled exposure to pathogens and standardization issues. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate alternative treatment methods, such as bacteriotherapy, as well as the mechanism through which beneficial bacteria inhibit the growth of C. difficile. Here, we report bile acid-mediated inhibition of C. difficile by Bacteroides strains which can produce bile salt hydrolase (BSH). Bacteroides strains are not commonly used to treat CDI; however, as they comprise a large proportion of the intestinal microbiota, they can contribute to bile acid-mediated inhibition of C. difficile. The inhibitory effect on C. difficile growth increased with increasing bile acid concentration in the presence of Bacteroides ovatus SNUG 40239. Furthermore, this inhibitory effect on C. difficile growth was significantly attenuated when bile acid availability was reduced by cholestyramine, a bile acid sequestrant. The findings of this study are important due to the discovery of a new bacterial strain that in the presence of available bile acids inhibits growth of C. difficile. These results will facilitate development of novel bacteriotherapy strategies to control CDI.</P>
The Effects of Acupuncture on Crohn’s Disease: a systematic review and meta-analysis

Objectives: Crohn’s disease is a chronic gastrointestinal disease that belongs to inflammatory bowel disease. This systematic review aims to assess the level of evidence in randomized controlled trials (RCTs) on the effects of acupuncture for Crohn’s disease. Methods: We searched 12 databases from the date of the establishment of each database up to May, 2023 for relevant RCTs. The risk of bias of each study was assessed independently by three reviewers. The level of evidence of meta-analysis was assessed using GRADE (Grading of Recommendations, Assessment, Development, and Evaluation). Results: A total of 12 studies were included. The effective rate (odds ratio [OR] 3.23, 95% confidence interval [CI] 1.43, 7.30) for mild to moderate Crohn’s disease patients showed a significant difference between the acupuncture with moxibustion group and the shamacupuncture with sham-moxibustion group. CDAI change (mean difference [MD] –74.15, 95% CI –93.28, –55.01) for mild to moderate Crohn’s disease showed a significant difference between the acupuncture with moxibustion group and the sham-acupuncture with sham-moxibustion group. Conclusion: Although acupuncture with moxibustion showed significant effects compared to sham-acupuncture with sham-moxibustion, the effect of acupuncture alone is inconclusive. Moreover, only the effect of acupuncture treatment on mild to moderate Crohn’s disease patients was derived as a remarkable result. To confirm the effectiveness of acupuncture treatment for Crohn’s disease, studies using only acupuncture for intervention or more RCTs targeting various Crohn’s disease patients according to the CDAI are required.
