        Effect of Manufacturing and Absorption Promotion of Lidocaine Hydrogel Using Ultrasonic Waves during Cosmetic Procedures

        목적: 본 연구에서는 안티에이징의 대중화에 따른 미용 시술 시 사용되는 마취제품을 보다 효과적으로 사용하기 위해 연구하였다. Lidocaine을 함유한 hydrogel을 초음파로 미용시술 시에 사용한다면 통증완화에 보다 효과적일 것으로 판단되어 hydrogel을 제조하 였다. 방법: 제조한 하이드로겔과 시판 중인 겔을 비교하여 초음파 치료에 사용할 수 있는지 평가하였으며, 초음파 적용가능성에 따 라 피부를 통한 침투와 초음파 한도에 따른 피부 침투에 미치는 영향을 평가하였다. 초음파 처리 시 사용성 및 최적의 초음파 매개 변수를 알아보았다. 결과: 제조한 하이드로겔의 점도측정, 겔화율, 팽윤도, 피부투과실험, HPLC 분석한 결과 모두 적합한 특성을 보였으며, 주파수 1MHz, 순환주기 Low 200, High 50 일 때가 가장 피부투과율이 높아지는 초음파 조건임을 확인 할 수 있었다. 결 론: 결론적으로 Lidocaine을 함유한 hydrogel은 초음파 치료 시 피부투과율을 높여 더 빠르게 목표하는 양을 경피에 투과시킬 수 있 으며 이는 초음파의 매개변수에 따라서 더 효과적으로 투과시킬 수 있었다. 이에 미용 시술에 사용 시 적용이 가능한 것으로 판단된다. Purpose: In this study, we study to more effectively use anesthesia products used in beauty procedures following the popularization of anti-aging. Hydrogel, which contains lidocaine, is believed to be more effective in relieving pain if used in cosmetic procedures with ultrasonic waves. Methods: The availability of manufactured hydrogels and commercial gels for ultrasonic treatment was compared, and the effect on skin penetration and skin penetration due to ultrasonic limitations was evaluated based on their applicability. Usability and optimal ultrasound parameters were identified during ultrasound treatment. Results: Viscosity measurement, gelation rate, swelling, skin permeability experiment, and HPLC analysis of manufactured hydrogels all revealed properties, with skin permeability being highest at frequency 1 MHz, cycle low 200, and high 50. Conclusions: Finally, hydrogels containing lidocaine increased skin permeability during ultrasound treatment, allowing for faster targeted transdermal transmission that was more effective depending on the ultrasound parameters. As a result, it is determined that it can be used in cosmetic procedures.

        코스메슈티컬 기반 약물 전달형 마이크로 패치 시스템의 개발

        Cosmeceutical is a compound word of Cosmetics and Pharmaceutical, which implies a drug delivery system that can efficiently deliver drugs by combining cosmetics and medicine. This study adopted a microneedle patch system, a type of drug delivery system(DDS). The results of producing and experimenting with polymers such as CMC and pullulan showed that systems using pullulan, which increase adhesion and viscosity and have excellent film-type performance, were optimal. And with the maximum goal of being able to apply various drugs, we applied Finasteride(a kind of hair loss treatment drug) at the present stage. As a result of the content evaluation, we were able to confirm that the content in a series of three patches was over 95%. In this study, a micro-patches system containing finastride is expected to deliver drugs quickly, conveniently and efficiently to hair loss patients.

        피부미용에 사용되는 Glycolic acid를 함유한 여드름치료 발포세안제의 제조와 특성분석

        Glycolic acid is frequently used in skin care because it accelerates the destruction and inhibition effects of melanin synthesis. In this study, three tablets of different content were manufactured by adding Glycolic acid to the foam agent for wash face revenue purposes, and the characteristics were compared with these five items after measuring the friability test, weight variation test, disintegration test, pH measurement, and UV-Vis Spectrometer. The overall findings drew a conclusion that sample A gained most prominence and suitability through the evaluation.

        남성의 피부특성과 화장품 사용 행동의 관련성

        Having a good appearance in modern society is becoming a big issue in regards to relationships. People now, more than ever, are realizing that your appearance is important in dealing with those around you. This trend of thinking is not just seen in women, but is an increasing concern among men as well. Korean men’s interest in skin care and cosmetic products has been on the rise, as well as the global market for male cosmetics. This research will show how men’s knowledge of their skin characteristics, and men’s level of cognition for cosmetic products, effect the purchase and use of skin care and cosmetic products. Also, this paper was proposed in order to help develop the future mens cosmetic market by examining the habits of their cosmetic purchases. In this survey 336 participant from 20s to 40s living in Daejeon, Chung-nam were responded. The data was analyzed with SPSS 18. In order to this analyze data, Descriptive statistic analysis, Cross analysis, Correlation analysis, and Reliability analysis was used. In accordance with the analysis of using behaviors of cosmetics by men, men with oily skin were the most frequent user of cosmetic and the most frequent trouble was dryness. Men started to use cosmetics from middle school and high school. The most consideration fact of purchasing cosmetics was product s effectiveness. and they investigated product s information from friends. As the fact the men use the skin and cleanser regardless of age, incomes, skin type and they want to buy the functional cosmetic in all age, income, skin type, men s cosmetic market would definitely increase, expand by function and effect as well.

      • Vorinostat-eluting poly(DL-lactide-co-glycolide) nanofiber-coated stent for inhibition of cholangiocarcinoma cells

        <P><B>Purpose</B></P><P>The aim of this study was to fabricate a vorinostat (Zolinza™)-eluting nanofiber membrane-coated gastrointestinal (GI) stent and to study its antitumor activity against cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) cells in vitro and in vivo.</P><P><B>Methods</B></P><P>Vorinostat and poly(DL-lactide-co-glycolide) dissolved in an organic solvent was sprayed onto a GI stent to make a nanofiber-coated stent using an electro-spinning machine. Intact vorinostat and vorinostat released from nanofibers was used to assess anticancer activity in vitro against various CCA cells. The antitumor activity of the vorinostat-eluting nanofiber membrane-coated stent was evaluated using HuCC-T1 bearing mice.</P><P><B>Results</B></P><P>A vorinostat-incorporated polymer nanofiber membrane was formed on the surface of the GI stent. Vorinostat was continuously released from the nanofiber membrane over 10 days, and its release rate was higher in cell culture media than in phosphate-buffered saline. Released vorinostat showed similar anticancer activity against various CCA cells in vitro compared to that of vorinostat. Like vorinostat, vorinostat released from nanofibers induced acetylation of histone H4 and inhibited histone deacetylases 1⋅3⋅4/5/7 expression in vitro and in vivo. Furthermore, vorinostat nanofibers showed a higher tumor growth inhibition rate in HuCC-T1 bearing mice than vorinostat injections.</P><P><B>Conclusion</B></P><P>Vorinostat-eluting nanofiber membranes showed significant antitumor activity against CCA cells in vitro and in vivo. We suggest the vorinostat nanofiber-coated stent may be a promising candidate for CCA treatment.</P>
