Ewing sarcoma in the head and neck is rare, and metastasis from other bones to the mandible accounts for 0.7% of cases. This report presents a case of oral metastasis in a 24-year-old male patient diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma of the femur (p53 gene mutation and EWSR1-ERG fusion). The chief complaint was numbness in the mandible and pain for 1 month and a hardened, ulcerated exophytic lesion in the right retromolar region. Imaging exams revealed an unspecified thinning of the cortical bone of the inferior alveolar canal in the right mandibular ramus, associated with erosion of the alveolar bone. Histopathological analysis confirmed metastasis of Ewing sarcoma. The patient presented an aggressive disease progression and died 1 month after the oral diagnosis. It is important to recognize the signs and symptoms compatible with rare clinical outcomes, leading to an early diagnosis that can improve patients' quality of life and survival.

When speaking German Koreans car be caught title frequently calling someone only by his family name without using any kind of ?? or form of address. In this paper is argued that the cause for such kind of mistake derives from the fact that in Korean the titles and other forms of address come behind the name and not before like in German. That makes the Koreans think first of someone's family name and then comes a certain form of address ??. The Koreans are so used to that order, that it takes them a lot of concentration to change that order when speaking German. But in situations when they are under stress or pressure they may make a slip of the tongue and speak the family name first. Even if they would then realize their mistake immediately, they could not correct themselves easily, because once the family name is spoken a title or another form of address can no longer be added. The only way to prevent such a kind of mistake, seems to lie in more concentrated practice on addressing people. The practice should go almost so far that the students get the impression that titles and forms of address are initially more important than the name itself. Therefore, the basic thing to keep in mind for students of the German language is to be first of all concerned about someone's title or proper form of address and then take the time to recall his name.

<P>Conclusions-The present data show that patients with stroke with different degree of CST disruption differ in their dependency on structural premotor-motor connections for residual motor output. This finding might have important implications for future research on recovery prediction models and on responses to treatment strategies.</P>
Giant viruses with an expanded complement of translation system components

<P>The discovery of giant viruses blurred the sharp division between viruses and cellular life. Giant virus genomes encode proteins considered as signatures of cellular organisms, particularly translation system components, prompting hypotheses that these viruses derived from a fourth domain of cellular life. Here we report the discovery of a group of giant viruses (Klosneuviruses) in metagenomic data. Compared with other giant viruses, the Klosneuviruses encode an expanded translation machinery, including aminoacyl transfer RNA synthetases with specificities for all 20 amino acids. Notwithstanding the prevalence of translation system components, comprehensive phylogenomic analysis of these genes indicates that Klosneuviruses did not evolve from a cellular ancestor but rather are derived from a much smaller virus through extensive gain of host genes.</P>

Die Diversität der Modelle und Erkenntnisse in der multidisziplinären Grundlagenforschung zur Aggression zeigt äußerst deutlich ein breites Interesse an der Thematik, das sich in einem ebenfalls weiten Themenkomplex der anwendungsrelevanten Aggressionsforschung widerspiegelt. Hauptsächlich geht es hier um die Früherkennung von aggressiven Verhaltenstendenzen und deren Vermeidung bzw. Therapie in Familie und Gesellschaft. In diesem Sinne wird Aggression mit verschiedenen Formen der Gewalt assoziiert und untersucht. So beschäftigen sich Sparten der Psychologie, Soziologie und Kriminologie mit Themenfeldern wie Mobbing, Vandalismus, Terrorismus, (sexueller) Belästigung oder Stalking(Vgl. Wahl 2009, 3f.). Auch der Linguistik bzw. der malediktologische Forschung eröffnet sich heute ein breites thematisches Spektrum. Abgesehen von einer Reihe an populärwissenschaftlichen Abhandlungen(z.B. Burgen 1998; Raeth 2007) und humoristisch-satirischen Schimpfwörterbüchern existieren bisher nur wenige vertiefende Beiträge zur Untersuchung verbalen Aggression. Hierbei wird die Relevanz der Thematik scheinbar unterschätzt, denn die heutige Gesellschaft bietet eine Reihe von Ansatzpunkten, die nicht nur aus rein sprachwissenschaftlicher Sicht, sondern auch aus Perspektive der oben genannten Disziplinen von Interesse sind. Die Untersuchung der Sprache und ihrer Äußerungsmöglichkeiten bietet hierbei einen äußerst immanenten direkten Zugang zu Aggression – auch oft bevor es zu physischen Auseinandersetzungen kommt. Abschließend werden in Auswahl einige Phänomene aufgelistet, die als malediktologische Forschungsdesiderate zu sehen sind: - Öffentliche und private ‚Hate-Speech‘, mit dem Ziel einzelne Personen oder Gruppen zu diffamieren und auszugrenzen - ‚Hate-Comments‘ und Reaktionen darauf in Internet-Foren, bei Facebook oder YouTube - Aggressiver Rap durch eine Reihe zeitgenösssicher Rapper, die sich insbesondere frauenfeindlich geben - Öffentliches ‚Dissen‘ und Beschimpfen als moderne Form der Rhetorik - Verbale Gewalt in der Partnerschaft, der Familie und dem öffentlichen Raum - Selbstverständnis durch verbale Aggression bei männlichen und weiblichen Jungendlichen Die Malediktologie kann zu diesen und weiteren thematischen Feldern Basisforschung leisten, indem sie durch Analyse hinter der verbalen Äußerung liegende Denkmuster und Stereotype offenlegt. Mit diesen Erkenntnissen lässt sich interdisziplinär an weiteren psychologischen Motiven, sozialen Problemen und auch der Gewaltprävention arbeiten.

<P>Neonatal hyperbilirubinemia arises from increased bilirubin production and decreased bilirubin elimination. Although phototherapy safely and effectively reduces bilirubin levels, recent evidence shows that it has adverse effects. Therefore, alternative treatments are warranted. Metalloporphyrins, competitive inhibitors of heme oxygenase (HO), the rate-limiting enzyme in bilirubin production, effectively reduce bilirubin formation; however, many are photoreactive. Here, we investigated possible photosensitizing effects of chromium mesoporphyrin (CrMP) and zinc deuteroporphyrin bis-glycol (ZnBG).</P>
Production and Subsequent Forming of Chip-Based Aluminium Sheets Without Remelting

Bent components and deep drawn cups are produced by direct usage of aluminium chips without melting following a new process chain: hot extrusion of aluminium chips to a cylindrical open profile, flattening, subsequent rolling and bending or deep drawing. The properties of the hot extruded chip-based AA6060 sheets are examined by tensile tests and microstructural investigations and the results are compared with those obtained from material extruded from conventional cast billets. The chip-based sheets were used to form components by bending or deep drawing. No significant differences between the bent components or deep-drawn cups made of chips and those from cast material are observed regarding their capability for further plastic forming operations. This makes the new process route a resource-efficient alternative for the production of aluminium sheet products.
