우리는 스마트폰을 직접 확인하기 힘든 경우, 카카오톡 메신저에 도착한 메시지를 음성알림을 통해 사용자에게 알리고, 자동으로 답장을 보내주는 메신저 매니지먼트 어플리케이션 제작을 목표로 하였다. “MIC로매니저”는 안드로이드 노티피케이션 매니저를 이용하여 실시간 메시지를 감시하고, 구글 TTS 음성 합성 엔진을 통해 음성알림으로 변환한다. SMS 서비스를 통해 발신자에게 자동으로 답장을 보내주고, 음성알림의 출력에 대해 다양한 편의를 제공한다. We aimed to create a messenger management application that notifies users of messages arriving on KakaoTalk messengers through voice notifications and automatically sends replies when it is difficult to check smartphones in person. “MICroManager” uses the Android Notification Manager to monitor real-time messages and convert them into voice notifications through the Google TTS voice synthesis engine. It automatically sends replies to callers through SMS services and provides various conveniences for outputting voice notifications.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P><B>Purpose</B></P> <P>To evaluate the feasibility of self-expanding metal stent (SEMS) placement and fluorescence microendoscopic monitoring for determination of fibroblast cell proliferation after stent placement in an esophageal mouse model.</P> <P><B>Materials and Methods</B></P> <P>Twenty fibroblast-specific protein (FSP)-1 green fluorescent protein (GFP) transgenic mice were analyzed. Ten mice (Group A) underwent SEMS placement, and fluoroscopic and fluorescence microendoscopic images were obtained biweekly until 8 weeks thereafter. Ten healthy mice (Group B) were used for control esophageal values.</P> <P><B>Results</B></P> <P>SEMS placement was technically successful in all mice. The relative average number of fibroblast GFP cells and the intensities of GFP signals in Group A were significantly higher than in Group B after stent placement. The proliferative cellular response, including granulation tissue, epithelial layer, submucosal fibrosis, and connective tissue, was increased in Group A. FSP-1-positive cells were more prominent in Group A than in Group B.</P> <P><B>Conclusions</B></P> <P>SEMS placement was feasible and safe in an esophageal mouse model, and proliferative cellular response caused by fibroblast cell proliferation after stent placement was longitudinally monitored using a noninvasive fluorescence microendoscopic technique. The results have implications for the understanding of proliferative cellular response after stent placement in real-life patients and provide initial insights into new clinical therapeutic strategies for restenosis.</P>

본 연구에서는 콜로이드와 핵종의 복합이동에 관한 수치모델을 개발하였다. 콜로이드와 핵종의 반응-이동 지배방정식을 풀기 위하여 Operator Splitting Method 중 Strang의 분리 SNI 방식을 수치해석 방법으로 채택하였고 이는 MATLAB을 이용하여코드화 되었다. 개발된 수치모델은 용질의 이동 및 분산만을 고려한 해석해를 통한 검증과정에서 피어슨 상관계수의 제곱값(r2)이 0.99 이상으로 나타나 모델의 정확성이 입증되었다.

<P>Quantum dot (QD) imaging capability was investigated by the imaging depth at a near-infrared second optical window (SOW; 1000 to 1400 nm) using time-modulated pulsed laser excitations to control the effective fluence rate. Various media, such as liquid phantoms, tissues, and in vivo small animals, were used and the imaging depths were compared with our predicted values. The QD imaging depth under excitation of continuous 20 mW/cm(2) laser was determined to be 10.3 mm for 2 wt%hemoglobin phantom medium and 5.85 mm for 1 wt% intralipid phantom, which were extended by more than two times on increasing the effective fluence rate to 2000 mW/cm(2). Bovine liver and porcine skin tissues also showed similar enhancement in the contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR) values. A QD sample was inserted into the abdomen of a mouse.With a higher effective fluence rate, the CNR increased more than twofold and the QD sample became clearly visualized, which was completely undetectable under continuous excitation.Multiple acquisitions of QD images and averaging process pixel by pixel were performed to overcome the thermal noise issue of the detector in SOW, which yielded significant enhancement in the imaging capability, showing up to a 1.5 times increase in the CNR.</P>
High Incidence and Prevalence of Papillary Thyroid Cancer in Breast Cancer Patients

Purpose Breast and thyroid cancers are the two most commonly diagnosed cancers in women. Many studies have described an increased risk of thyroid cancer in breast cancer patients. This may be related to hormonal exposure, genetic susceptibility, detection bias, and cancer treatment. We thus performed a retrospective descriptive study which aimed to assess the incidence and prevalence of thyroid cancer in breast cancer patients. Methods We reviewed electronic medical records of breast cancer patients who had undergone surgery between January 2013 and December 2017 in a single tertiary hospital. Patients with recurrent breast cancer, distant metastases, or previous history of thyroidectomy were excluded. A total of 966 patients were enrolled. Results A total of 37 (3.8%) patients were diagnosed with both breast and thyroid cancers during 46 months of median follow up. There were 28 (75.7%) synchronous cases diagnosed within 1 year, and 9 (24.3%) metachronous cases diagnosed after 1 year. The median age was 49 years (range, 30-65 years); 34 (91.9%) had thyroid microcarcinoma of less than 1 cm. The incidence and prevalence of thyroid cancer were 2.05 (95% confidence interval [CI], 0.93-3.61) times and 1.41 (95% CI, 0.93-1.98) times higher than those of general population, respectively. Conclusions The high incidence and prevalence of thyroid cancer among breast cancer patients are mostly attributable to the widespread screening with ultrasonography. Treatment strategies can be individualized with respect to the tumor characteristics, the patient s preference, and surgical resources.

Three-dimensional (3D) double-network graphene oxide/alginate-polyacrylonitrile (GO/Ca-Alg₂-PAN) composite hydrogels were synthesized via surface functionalization of GO to activate adsorption sites. The morphology and structure of the GO/Ca-Alg₂-PAN were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA-DSC). The results of the physicochemical analyses indicated that GO/Ca-Alg₂-PAN was successfully synthesized by the combination of a 2D -structured graphene oxide with the alginate which was functionalized with the PAN polymer to generate the 3D double network composites. This functionalization approach contributed to an increase in Cu<SUP>2+</SUP> ion adsorption capacity. The maximum adsorption capacity of the GO/Ca-Alg₂-PAN for Cu<SUP>2+</SUP> was 5.99 mmol/g. The results of adsorption kinetic experiments indicated that the GO/Ca-Alg₂-PAN reached adsorption equilibrium within 147 mins at 2 mM Cu<SUP>2+</SUP> in accordance with a pseudo-second-order model.
