      • 산포도와 머루중의 Polyphenol Oxidase에 관한 연구¹

        Polyphenol oxidase was partially purified from fresh vitis flexuosa and vitis amurensis and its characteristics were studied. the experimental results were summarized as follows. 1.The enzyme activities were increased during the fruit developement gradually in two sample. 2.The optimum pH and temperature for activity were 5.5 and 30℃, respectively. 3.The enzyme was active with o-phenols and trihydroxyphenol, but inactive toward m-diphenols and monophenols. 4.The ?? value of the enzymes was 15.4 mM in vitis flexuosa and 12.5 mM in vitis amurensis with catechol as substrate. 5.Inhibitors sudies indicated that sodium diethyl-dithiocarbamate, L-cysteine, sodium bisulfite, L-ascorbic acid and 2-mercaptoeyhanol were the most potent. 6.The enzyme activity increament by ?? was much better than those by the other metal ions.

        색상 측정 기기를 이용한 복합레진 적층 수복과 단일 수복의 색상 비교 분석

        Objectives: This study analyzed the difference in color caused by different thickness in enamel layer of composite resins when applied with single and layering placement technique, and evaluated if the results agreed with the shade guide from the manufacturers to verify reliability of the color matching process of the manufacturers. Materials and Methods: For single composite resin samples, 6 mm diameter and 4 mm thickness cylindrical samples were fabricated using Ceram-X mono (DENTSPLY DeTrey) and CIE L*a*b* values were measured with spectrophotometer. Same process was done for layering compositie resin samples, making 3 dentinal shade samples, 4 mm thickness, for each shade using Ceram-X duo (DENTSPLY DeTrey) and enamel shade resins were layered in 2 mm thickness and CIE L*a*b* values were measured. These samples were ground to 0.2 mm thickness each time, and CIE L*a*b* values were measured to 1 mm thickness of enamel shade resin. Results: Color difference (△E*) between single and layering composite resin was 1.37 minimum and 10.53 maximum when layering thicknesses were between 1 mm and 2 mm and 6 out of 10 same shade groups suggested by manufacturer showed remarkable color difference at anythickness (△E* > 3.3). Conclusion: When using Ceram-X mono and duo for composite resin restoration, following the manufacturer's instructions for chossing the shade is not appropriate, and more accurate information for Ceram-X duo is needed on the variation and expression of the shades depending on the thickness of the enamel.         카르벤과 카르베노이드의 반응성을 연구하기 위하여 카르보닐 화합물과 메틸렌을 반응시켰을 때 생성되는 carbonyl ylide의 1, 3-cycloaddition 반응에 대한 반응메카니즘을 고찰하였다. 카르벤과 케톤이 반응할 때 생성되는 ylide 중간체에 의한 반응성에 있어서 Ylide-ylide 반응은 정전기적 효과에 의하여 반응이 지배되고 ylide-ketone 반응은 정전기적 효과와 궤도함수 상호작용에 의하여 반응이 지배되는데 메틸렌의 양이 증가함에 따라 ylide-ylide의 정전기적 상호 작용이 크게 작용되어, 1, 4-dioxane의 생성이 유리하게 일어남을 알 수 있었다. The reactivities of carbenes and carbenoids have been studied for the reaction of various carbonyl compounds with methylene. The reactions of ketones with methylene gave carbonyl ylides, and then rates for the ylide rearrangement were determined. The results for ylide intermediate formed in the reactions of the ketones with methylene showed the following: When another ketone attack the ylide which have been produced from the previous step, the nucleophilicity of oxygen atom in ketone molecule is reduced. Ylide-ylide reactions were controlled by electrostatic effect which ylide-ketone reactions were controlled by the effect of electrostatic and orbital interaction.

      • 핸드오프로 인한 TCP 재전송 타이머의 타임아웃 방지 방안

        It will be occurred unacceptably long pause and intermittent disconnection states due to handoffs under the mobile computing environment. The current TCP interprets these handoffs as network congestion and excutes the congestion avoidance algorithms which degrade TCP performance. To prevent degrading TCP troughtput due to the unnecessary timeout problem of source retransmitter timer caused by handoffs, we propose EHN(explicit handoff notification) message algorithm which resets the value of retansmission timer. By adapting EHN, the TCP source can maintain the pre-handoff' congestion window size after handoffs and prevent the abrupt decrease of congestion window size caused by timeout. Therefore, this scheme improves the TCP performance more than the current TCP implementations during handoffs. With the computer simulation, we compare our EHN scheme with the current TCP scheme and fast retransmission scheme and prove the validation of EHN.

        This study proposes the analysis method of time series ultrasonic signal using the chaotic feature extraction for degradation extent evaluation The features extracted from time series data using the chaotic time series signal analyzes quantitatively degradation extent. For this purpose, analysis objective in this study is correlation dimension, lyapunov exponent, strange attractor on hyperspace. The lyapunov exponent is a measure of the rate at which nearby trajectories in phase space diverge. Chaotic trajectories have at least one positive lyapunov exponent. The correlation dimension appears as a metric space such as the phase space trajectory of a dynamical system. In this experiment, correlation(fractal) dimensions, lyapunov exponents, energy variation showed values of 2.217~2.423, 0.097~0.154, 1.601~1.476 voltage according to degardation extent. The proposed chaotic feature extraction in this study can enhance the degree of precise evaluation of the degraded materials(SA508 CL.3).

        This study was carried out to investigate the effects of showing time and training method on fruit growth and quality of 'Mudeungsan' watermelon. It was evident that sowing time at 25th of June had shortage of growth period and higher sugar content of watermelon. And average fruit weight was increased at the training method that controlled three main branch with shoots but no significant difference in sugar content of fruit was noticed. On the other hand, a general relationship was found between fruit weight and fruit peel thickness but no relationship was found between sugar content and fruit weight.

        비교언어학 및 유전학적 방법에 의한 한국어 기원의 탐구

        In exploring the origins of the Korean language, there are three windows through which we may penetrate the mysteries of this difficult question: archaeological, genetic/ genomic, and linguistic. In this paper I will try to answer this question by looking mainly through the latter two windows. As many linguists have attempted to place the Korean language into the proper language family according to linguistic affinity, I also want to classify the Korean language with linguistically related languages, mainly the Altaic languages. The so-called Altaic linguistics is very unstable compared with the more rigorously documented Indo-European linguistics. The lack of sufficient evidence, such as a common indigenous lexicon, has made it difficult to ascertain the genetic relationships and origins of languages such as Korean, Japanese, Manchu-Tungusic (Man, Gold(i), Oroqen, Ewenke, Lamut, Nanay, etc.), Mongolian(Khalkha, Chakhar, Urat, Khorchin, Ordos, Buriat, Oirat, Kalmyt, Da(g)ur, Monguor, Yellow Uighur. etc.) and Turkish(Turkish, Turkmen(ian), Azerbaidjani, Uighur, Uzbek, Kumyk, Tatar, Kazakh, Kirg(h)iz, Yakut, Altai, and Chuvash, etc.), which are typically classified as Altaic. Recently Starostin(1991) claimed that Proto-Altaic had disappeared around the sixth century B.C. Other measures are needed to evaluate this hypothesis, though, since the intra-linguistic debate has not provided any clear evidence or breakthroughs. That is why we turn to genetics as an approach and incorporate the results to shed new light on the origins of the Korean language. It has been shown that analysis of mitochondrial DNA, transmitted through maternal lineage, can be used to test this kind of hypothesis. After collecting data from such ethnic groups as Korean, Japanese, Ewenke, Nanay, Khalkha, Buriat, and Turkish, we have investigated information on mtDNA(Mitochondrial DNA). While we do not use the popular STR markers on Y chromosomes, and other nuclear markers such as the gene encoding cytochrome B will b isolated by the polymerase chain reaction, as in the next study,. In reality, it was rather difficult to extract genes from hair-roots and saliva, especially when there were not many samples available for serious study. Yet, we could fill the void for Koreans in the map that shows the mitochondrial DNA types in Africans, Australian Aborigines, Caucasians, East Asians, Native Americans, and New Guineans. The nucleotide sequences were determined through phylogenetic analysis. If we can position the sequences from Koreans in the currently available genealogical tree based on mitochondrial DNA, we may be able to reassess the existing hypotheses on linguistic genealogy. However, because primordial remains or ancient fragment of linguistic evidence are not readily available in Korea due to special geo-political situations, the position of the Korean language has been left unattested in the genealogical tree based on languages. Nonetheless, there are some examples similar to the Altaic languages that are estimated to have been used in Korea, and using these we may draw the linguistic tree shown below. On the other hand, our investigation through which maternal lineage alone has well established a biological lineage can be reported as follows. Korean is not isolated from Japanese, and the sisterhood with Turkic is also strange because the similarity between Korean and Manchu-Tungusic is more convincing according to linguistic evidences. It looks to be difficult to conclude anything at this stage of research. However, we know the genetic methods are quite scientific, while the comparative linguistic study often relies on abstract reconstruction.

      • 초임계이산화탄소에 의한 유기염소계 잔류농약의 포집효율

        Collection efficiencies of organochlorine pesticides by supercritical fluid extraction(SFE) was investigated to develop a simple, fast and inexpensive extraction method. Standard organochlorine pesticides mixture(SOPM, no water) showed no evidence of metering valve plugging in contrast to the plugging associated with SFE of fish tissues(wet sample). Maximum percent recovery of SOPM was obtained at bar by collecting the extract within 3 min through the metering valve without heating into a capped screw-top tube half filled with solid CO_(2) Recovery of SOPM itself shwes 98.3% while recovery of that spiker in fish tissue 85.6%.

      • 도시주거단지 입지특성에 따른 소음환경 연구 : 도로변 아파트단지를 대상으로

        The increase of road traffic niose in residential area has been considered to be a serious environmental problem to deteriorate a living condition. The understanding of noise environment in multi-family housing is needed for noise reduction. The study attempts to find out the characteristics of noise environment. For this purpose, the field survey has been carried out to investigate the noise environment(sound level, quality of sound) and the residents' responses (noiseness, annoyance) for noise environment based on 173 households living in 3 apartment compounds built in Pusan according to site location. The major fidings are as follows : 1. The sound levels by road traffic noise were measured by dB(A) and dB(Lin). The sound levels were : 77.0 dB(A), 86.6 dB(Lin) in D-Apt, 73.3 dB(A), 82.6 dB(Lin) in K-Apt, and 59.1 dB(A), 74.6 dB(Lin) in M-Apt. Especially, the difference between dB(A) and dB(Lin) was very big in case of M-Apt with a barriers for traffic noise reduction. 2. The internal sound levels were shown the sound attenuation by horizontal distance and by opening or shuting condition of windows. 3. The noiseness evaluations of noise environment were shown to correlate with sound level(dB(A) and site location of apartments. 4. The annoyance evaluations of noise enviroment were shown to correlate with sound level(dB(A) and quality of sound(frequency spectrum).
