      • Matorchis orientalis 表皮 微細構造의 發育 段階別 變化

        Metorchis orientalis의 發育 段階別 表皮 徵細構造를 주사전자현미경을 사용하여 관찰하였다. 충체가 성장 발육함에 따라 腹吸盤이 蟲澧 前方 1/3지점까지 올라와 位置하였고, 排泄孔도 충체 後端에서 腹側 前方으로 많이 올라와서 開ㅁ하였다. 배설공 주위에는 皮棘 및 感覺乳頭가 없고 多孔性의 原形質突起로 이루어진 독특한 구조의 표피가 分布하였다. 口吸盤 및 腹吸難의 口脣에는 각자 10개 및 6개의 제 Ⅱ형 감각유두가 일정한 간격으로 배열되어 있었다. 2일, 5일 및 7일된 幼苦蟲의 앞쪽 및 중간 부위 표피에는 손가락모양의 3∼6분지 피극이, 뒷쪽 부위에서는 송곳모양의 單棘이 분포하였고 2주 및 3주된 성충에서는 前, 中, 後部의 표피에 각각 9∼11分枝, 7∼10分技 밑 6∼7分技의 피극이 분포하였다. 유약충에서 자갈 모양이던 원형질돌기가 성충에서는 융단 모양이었으며 腹側面과 背側面에서 다소 配列樣相이 달랐지만 충체의 左右 外側에 1개 또는 3∼8개(grouped)의 제Ⅰ형 감각유두가 대칭적으로 배열되어 있었다. 감염 후 3주된 충체에서 표피의 破壞 및 脫落 現象이 관찰되었다. 이상의 결과로 M. orientalis의 표피는 감염후 2주까지 원형질돌기 밑 피극의 分化가 계속되고 3주 이상된 충체에서는 표피의 파괴 및 탈락이 일어남을 알 수 있었다. This study was performed to observe the tegumental ultrastructures of Metorchis orientalis according to the developmental stages. The worms were obtained from the experimentally infected chicks at 2, 5, 7, 14 and 21 days post infection. They were prepared for scanning electron microscopic observation and observed by ISI Korea DS-130C SEM at an accelerating voltage of 10 Kv. All worms were elongated and ventrally curved. Their ventral suckers were located in anterior 3/5∼1/3 level. The oral and ventral suckers had 10 and 6 type II sensory papillae respectively in a circular band on their lips. The ventro-anterior and ventro-middle surface of juvenile worms (2-day, 5-day and 7-day old) were regularly arranged with the spines of which tips diverged into 3 to 6 points, and their ventro-posterior surface were arranged with the peg-like single-tipped spines. The ventral surface of adult worms (2-week and 3-week old) was armed with many scale-like spines; 9∼11 pointed ones on anterior body, 7∼10 pointed on middle body and 6∼7 pointed on posterior body. The tegument spines on the dorsal surface were similar to those of ventral side in their shape and distribution. The tegument of juvenile worms was covered with cobblestone-like cytoplasmic processes, however they were changed into velvety texture in that of adults. The ciliated type I sensory papillae appeared biilaterally on the tegument of both side, and they were distributed on anterior tegument to ventral sucker level in group of 3∼8 ones. Destruction and shedding of tegument suggesing worm death and discharge were observed in 3-week old worms. From the above results, it is considered that the tegument of M. orientalis continued to differentiate until 2 weeks after infection, and it was shedded from the body of 3-week old worms.

      • 窒素施肥量에 따른 감자塊莖내의 NO_3^-, Glutamine, Asparagine, Protein 含量變化

        In order to find out the effects of nitrogen fertilization on the contents of NO_3^(-) -N, glutamine, asparagine, and protein in potato tuber, the pot experiment with 5 N treatments(1, 2, 4, 6, 8g N/pot) were conducted. The results were summarized as follows : 1. Tuber yield increased along with the amount of nitrogen fertilization, and the maximum yield was shown at 6g N/pot treatment. 2. contents of NO_3^(-) -N in the 100g frozen dried tuber were increased 16mg to 82.6mg. and those of in the fresh tuber per 100g, 3.6mg to 18.2mg, respectively, by applying nitrogen. 3. Contents of asparagine and glutamine were increased significantly by applying nitrogen, however, contents of asparagine were higher than those of glutamine in all treatment. But Asp/Gln ratios were decreased 8.69 to 2.30 by applying nitrogen. 4. Positive correlation coefficients showed between protein and the amount of nitrogen fertilization, tuber yield, NO_3^(-) -N content in tuber.

      • 커피, 녹차, 홍차, 맥주 및 우리 나라 전통차의 질산염 함량에 관한 연구

        In order to calculate the daily intake amount of NO_3 for Korean, it is necessary to evaluate the basic information on average NO_3 content in beverage & drinks like another major sources for NO_3 such as vegetables, milk, grain, fruit and water. This experiment was aimed to find out the average content of NO_3 in favorite drinks for Koreans, the content of NO_3 in 5 sorts of tea, 7 coffees, 5 beers and 14 Korean traditional teas were investigated by 3 manufacturers in 5 duplications. The NO_3 content in Korean traditional tea show between 15 and 49ppm, but Brown rice-Green tea and Green tea have lower value than Red tea, Duchung tea and Jasmine tea. The lowest concentration among the Korean traditional tea shows in the Tea water boiled with burned rice(Sungryung tea). Chrysanthemum tea has the highest value among the imported teas, but Yongjeongmyeong tea has the lowest one. Red teas imported from Sri Lanka. USA show 30-33ppm which is similar to Korean red tea. The NO_3 content in de-caffeined coffee has the lowest value ever, but instant coffee such as Maxim coffee and Choice coffee show 44ppm and 47ppm respectively, whereas Raspberry coffee and Hazelunt coffee show relatively low concentration between 20 and 24ppm. But beers have lower value in NO_3 content compared to another beverage such as tea, coffee and Korean traditional tea. There is no difference between Korean produced or imported beer in terms of NO_3 content, but the lowest value was shown in Heinecken beer.

      • 先進 農業國의 環境保全型 持續農業 轉換趨勢

        This study aims to direct to an understanding of the environmental friendly sustainable agriculture which has been made great progress recently in some advanced countries. Today's agriculture is being challenged to operate in an environmentally responsible fashion while at the same time continuing to produce abundant supplies of food both economically and profitably. This paper presents an array of new knowledge and insight about the functioning of conventional agriuclture and sustainable agriuclture. Examples of the public policies and research projects under way in advanced countries are described. The emphasis is to seek ways to reduce use of chemicals and fertilizers and increase their effectiveness to improve and maintain environmental and economic sustainability. Finally, some concrete examples of constructive approaches toward Low Input Sustainable Agriuclture in Korea are suggested.

      • 國産 Praziquantel (Cestocide^(�)의 無鉤條蟲 및 廣節裂頭條蟲에 對한 治療效果

        Praziquantel(Cestocide^ⓡ), Korean product, was tested for its efficacy in the treatment of Taenia saginata and Diphylobothrium latum infection during the period from May 1983 to October 1985, A total of 30 patients were treated with 10~30㎎/㎏ single dose of praziquantel and purged with 20~30g of magnesium sulfate to recover the worms. The results were as follows: 1. The patients were 26 cases of T. saginata and 4 cases of D. latum and after the treatment all of them discharged tapeworm segments with or without their scolices. The scolex recovery rate was 43.3%(from 11 and 2 cases of T. saginata and D. Iatum respectively). 2. The follow[up examination for eggs and/or proglottides performed 2~3 months later or 11 out of 17 scolex-unidentified cases gave all negative results. From the results it is concluded that praziquantel(Cestocide^ⓡ) in 10㎎/㎏ single dose is highly effective in treatment of these tapeworm infections.

        골반내에 발생한 Proximal-type 유상피성 육종 1예

        유상피성 육종은 매우 드문 악성 연조직 육종으로, 전형적인 경우들은 주로 젊은 남성의 수부, 전완부와 같은 신체의 원위부에 피하 혹은 심재성 피부 종괴로 발생하며, 조직학적 소견상 적은 비정형성을 나타내는 유상피성 세포와 방추형 세포의 증식에 의한 다발성 결절 형태의 배열을 보인다. 최근에 전형적인 유상피성 육종과 조직학적 유사성을 가지나 더 공격적인 형태인 proximal-type 유상피성 육종이 보고되었으며, proximal-type은 전형적인 유상피성 육종에 비하여 현저한 유상피성 세포의 발현과 매우 심한 비정형성을 나타내며, 세포가 매우 크고, 소포성 핵과 뚜렷한 핵소체를 보이며, 자주 rhabdoid 세포의 양상을 띈다. 임상적으로는 전형적인 형태에 비하여 호발 연령이 조금 늦고, 주로 체간부에, 특히 골반, 회음부, 생식기 등과 같은 심부에 발생하고, 더욱 공격적인 양상을 나타낸다. 저자들은 13세 소녀에서 원발부위를 알 수 없는, 골반내에 발생한 proximal-type 유상피성 육종 1예를 경험하여, 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Epithelioid sarcoma is a rare malignant soft-tissue sarcoma with an unknown histiogenesis, typically presenting as a subcutaneous or deep dermal mass lesion in the distal portions of the extremities of young adults. Recently, a more aggressive, so-called 'proximal-type' epithelioid sarcoma has been reported. In contrast to conventional epithelioid sarcoma, the proximal type is characterized by a predominantly large cell epithelioid cytomorphology, marked cytologic atypia, and frequent occurrence of rhabdoid features in most patients. Proximal-type epithelioid sarcoma has a predilection for appearing in the genitalia, especially the vulva, penis, pelvis and buttocks. Also this lesion appears to be somewhat more aggressive or at least metastasizes earlier than the conventional epithelioid sarcoma. We report a 13-year-old girl who presented with a buge mass filling the pelvic cavity which was painful, hard and fixed on palpation, and was radiologically diagnosed as a malignant germ cell tumors on the CT scan. The mass was surgically excised and pathologically proved to be an proximal-type epithelioid sarcoma of unknown origin.

      • 국산 알벨다졸(안젠탈^(�))의 臟內線蟲類에 대한 驅蟲效果

        An anthelmintic trial of albendazole was carried out an total of 186 inhabitants of Namhaegun, Kyongsangnam-do. For this purpose they were examined for their intestinal parasites, by cellophane thick smear and/or anal swab techniques before and 2 weeks after anthelmintic treatment. The examinations revealed A. lumbricoides 5.9%, T. trichiura 26.9%, E. vermicularis 52.4%, Echinostomia sp. 0.02% and Taenia sp. 0.01%. The infected cases were treated with 400㎎ single dose of albendazola. The egg negative conversion rate(NCR) and the egg reduction rate(ERR) were calculated based upon the results of pre and post-fecal examinations. For Ascaris, NCR was 87.5%, ERR 97.1%, and NCR 51.1% and ERR 78.6% for Trichuris. NCR was 100% for Enterobius. Albendazole(Alzental) is regarded as one of recommendable anthelmintics for the nationwide mass treatment programme of intestinal nematodes especially for ascariasis.

        Nitrate and Chlorophyll Contents in Organically Cultivated Chinese Cabbages

        An average Korean known to ingest 3.4 times of the nitrate ADI level are found to have taken in 97% of nitrates through vegetables. This study analyzed the contents of nitrates and chlorophyll in organic Chinese cabbages, a major favorite vegetable for Koreans, with a view to lowering daily intake of nitrate. Our findings show that, in organically cultivated cabbages, the further outward the leaf was located, the more significantly the contents of nitrates increased, with the midrib and leaf blade showing positive relationship of r=0. 789 , and =0.659 , respectively. In the case of the midrib, the contents increased as high as 79 times ranging from 40ppm for the innermost leaf to 3, 177ppm for the outermost one, and when it comes to the leaf blade, the contents rose as high as 87 times, showing a range of 40 - 3,481ppm. Our findings also suggest that it is advisable to discard 1/3 of the outermost leaves before eating Chinese cabbages, since the outer leaves with known high contents of chlorophyll also have high contents of nitrates.
