In this paper, we have studied about the thermal expansion of the ball screw used for the X-Y table. The hollow ball type is used for the vall screw. We have compared the conventional cooling system and function with the improved cooling system and function which is developed the path providing cooling oil in hollow ball screw. That is, the temperature variation and positioning accuracy are analyzed of the ball screw. We have obtained the following result through this experiment. 1) The improved cooling system of the hollow ball screw for X-Y table was developed. 2) The improved cooling system of the hollow ball screw has a large effectiveness on restraining the thermal expansion of the ball screw. 3) The positioning accuracy of the ball screw was improved about 2∼4㎛ using temperature-controlled colling oil.
고온가스정제공정의 후류 연료가스를 이용한 SO₂의 직접환원에 관한 연구

The catalytic reactivity for the direct sulfur recovery from the produced SO₂in the regeneration process to element sulfur with the slip-stream fuel gas of hot gas desulfurization process as reductant was studied. The the catalyst for directly sulfur recovery process was used Ce_(0.8)Zr_(0.2)O₂, and the SO₂conversion and the element sulfur yield were investigated with the change of a reaction conditions, such as the amount of H₂O(2-10vol%), the reaction temperatures(400-600℃) and the mole ratio of reactants([reductant]/[SO₂]〓 1.0-3.0). The SO₂conversion and the element sulfur yield decreased by increasing the amount of H₂O in the slip-stream fuel gas using as reductant and increased by increasing the reaction temperature and the mole ratio of reactants. From TPR experiment result, reason that the SO₂conversion and the element sulfur yield becomes low by H₂O was confirmed because that the water-gas shift reaction(CO + H₂O → CO₂+ H₂). Specially, the element sulfur yield was fallen due to that created hydrogen to the water-gas shift reaction is converted to H₂S reacting with element sulfur.

MPTP 독성물질이 도파민성 신경세포에 선택적으로 작용하여 산화성 손상에 의한 신경세포사를 일으키는 것을 이용하여 파킨슨병의 동물모델을 만들고, 이를 통해서 아폼토시스를 비롯한 포사의 기전에 대한 연구 및 너코틴의 신경세포 보호효과 여부를 판정하는 실험을 병행하고자 하였다. 파킨슨꾐의 동물모델을 MPTf 독성 물질을 이용하여 확립하였으며, MPTP(30mgag, i.p.)를 투여한 후 1, 2,3, 4, 5일째 흑질 조직을 채춰하여 tarm로 박걸하여 tyrosine hydroxylase 면역조직화학염색을 수행하여 cell countif우한 결과, control은 57.635ce11s, 1일째 친.OfDells,2일째 57.9±6cells,3일릴 없.3±죠ells, 4일째 49.0츠3cells, 5일째 39.4±Scells료 4, 3일째 뚜렷한 신경세포 수의 감소를 보였다. 신경세포사 기전 규명을 위한 아폼토시스 분걱에서는 벼PTP 투여 후 1, 2, 3, 4, 5일째 조직을 채취하여 Hoechst staining, TUNEL staining을 수곡하였는데 양성 반응을 보인 신경세포는 관찰되지 않아. 아폼토시스로 인한 세포사가 관찰되지 않았다. bIPTP 파킨슨병 동물모델에서 nicotine 보호효과 탐색에 관한 실험은 nicat푸e 0.2mgAg을 5일 퐁안 투여 후 리『fP(30mgag)를 CS7Bt/6 마은스에 복강 내주사로 nicotine과 병용 투여한 후 1, 2, 3, 4, 5일째 뇌를 적출하땄다. 신경세포사가 뚜렷이 관찰되기 시작하는 4, 5일째의 신경세포 수의 감소 정도를 20. 30% 정도 약화시키는 경향을 보였으나, nicotine 보호효과에 대한 추가 실헝이 현재 수행 중에 있다. The cause of Parkinson's disease (PD) is largely unknown. However, free radical toxicit? may plaf a role ip. the degeneration of substantia nigra, which is the Hajorfocus of pathological damages in PD. Recently, a neuroprotective effect of nicotine in PD has been suggested. Therefore, the mechanism of neurodegenerafion and protective potential o( nicotine in PD were investigated in the experimental modeB of Pll using a neurotoxin, C57BL/6mice were administered with 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridine (MPTP, 30 mg/kg,j.p.). The degree of neurodegenerafion was determined by immunohistochemical stainiHB oftyrosine hydroxylase (TH). TH-positive cells on nigral sections were found 56.0 ±4, 57.9 ±6,52.315ce11s, 49.0±3cells, and 39,4±Scells at days 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, respectively (controls : 57.6±Scells). Hoechst and TUNEL staining showed no evidence of apoptosis. The exandnation on themice co-adrunistered with nicotine(0.2mgAg) and MPTP(30mgag) revealed a tendency ofnicotine protective effects. At days 4 and 5, the degree of TH-positive cells was decreased by20-30%, In corclusiffn, the role of apoptosis was not evidenced in this MPTP modeB of PB.The possible proteccon by nicotine should be elucidated with further studies.

The purpose of this research is the study of characteristics of heat transfer in a heat pipe controlled by solenoid valve. A solenoid valve at the adiabatic section between evaporator and condenser of heat pipe was used to control the valve on-off switching for effective energy store in the industrial exchanger machine from the results presented in this study temperature difference between aporator and condenser increase with increasing the temperature frequency and decreasing temperature amplitude as the inclination angle and flow rate of cooling water increases, the temperature amplitude is reasched to the stady state rapidly with increasing the temperature frequency.

Rotating heat pipe with parallel axis could be applicated to Provide rotating heat exchanger for waste heat recovery, However there are few publication on heat transfer performance of rotating heat pipes which have their axis paralleled to the rotating axis. This Paper presents a theoretical investigation of a parallel rotating heat pipe basic on an experimental results. Heat exchanger with heat pipes were tested to obtain the optimum design of the constructer, working fluid, and working condition. The predicts of a heat transfer characteristics is presented which enable us to perceive the influence of the ratio of evaporator and condenser length, king of working fluid and flow ratio of air.

The evaluation of heat transport within a heat pipe with double vapor path and working fluid of different kinds were experimental investigated. Experiments carried out with acetone/ethanol, ethanol/ethanol, etc heat pipe of various with aluminium container of two way vapor path. Performance measurements can be operated at high levels , over 27000 w/㎡ heat flux at 100mm long evaporator. The constitute of 2 way vapor heat pipe was enough to apply the vast range working. In this study, reliable basic data obtained by testes in the 2 way vapor path heat pipe can be used for thermal design, manufacture, production etc.

Laser ablation system for microscopic defect in thin film pattern was developed in this study. For the varification of this study, several laser ablation tests were accomplished. The ablated shape of thin film and the surface of base glass were analyzed by use of microscopic tools and EPMA. After some tests of thin film, the specification of laser and optical unit.(max. laser energy is 25mJ, wavelength is 532nm, Q-switched Nd-YAG laser, frequency is 20Hz Auto-focus unit is LD type.)

This study was carried out to investigate the energy transport effect of separate type heat pipe using capillary pumped loop inseted pva sponge wick and screen mesh wick. The results obtained that the consist of capillary pumped loop heat pipe was adequated and pva sponge was of great use for the manufacture of capillary pump. The energy transport of working fluid obtained maximum effect nearby the point of 750cc and it was indicated high through all parts of wall temperature distribute. In this study, obtained basic data in using the dynamic characteristics of working fluid through the observation of the flow characteristics of working fluid determined. Comparison between outside CPL and inner screen wick in evaporation can be utilized to operate the separate heat pipe.

The purpose of this research is to study the heat transfer characteristics of rotating shaft using copper heat pipe by experiment. An experimental investigation has been carried out on the whole heat transfer rate of shaft with various binding materials as silicone and copper, lead ets. In case of type #2 using lead material, the heat transport characteristics is the most superior of all. The thermal performance of the heat output be showed effect of improvement 12% more than #1 only steel material. As the revolution per minute inceases, the thermal resistance between vapor and outside wall of the condenser can be increased.
