This paper aims at providing a concrete plan to improve technical and vocational teacher education in the College of Industrial Education of Chungnam National University. It is intended to propose a practical four-year regular and short-term course. Also, the estimated required facilities is included in this study as well as their management. The main conclusions and recommendations are summarized as follows; 1) The numbers of students enrollment should be reduced to 220 students which is the approximate number of future demand. 2) In order to offer to the students a broader education and to cope with the increase/decrease in demand of technical and vocational teacher within a specific field, the 8 department existing at the present (Department of Architecture Engineering Education, Civil Eng. Educ., Metallurgical Eng. Educ., Mechanical Eng. .Educ., Electrical Eng. Educ., Electronic Eng. Educ., Industrial Chemistry Educ. and Industrial Technology Educ.) would be combined into 5 (Department of Construction Engineering Education, Mechanical Eng. Educ., Electrical Eng. Educ., Industrial Chemistry Educ. and Industrial Technology Educ.). 3) The short-term course program is recommened to provide additional training and education to those candidates who already have experience in technical fields to meet an occasional demand. 4) It is necessary to add the Teaching Profession Section in the administrative organization of the College.

완도지역의 붉가시나무 수간형태와 수간곡선식

전남 완도지역의 붉가시나무 수간곡선식의 도출 및 수간재적표를 구축하기 위하여 몇가지 수간곡선 모형 이용을 통해 분석한 결과 다음과 같다. Max & Burkhart 등 3가지 수간곡선 모델의 적합성을 평가하기 위하여 통계량 및 잔차분석을 수행한 결과, 붉가시나무 수간곡선을 가장 잘 표현하는 식으로는 Kozak 모형이 가장 우수함을 알 수 있었다. 잔차분석에 있어서도 Max & Burkhart모형과 Lee 모형이 상대수고가 낮은 부분에서 다소 직경 값을 과소 추정하는데 비하여 Kozak 모형은 고른 잔차를 보여 주었다. 따라서 Kozak 모형이 붉가시나무 수간곡선 추정 및 재적표 조제 도구로 최적 모형임을 알 수 있었다. 이를 이용하여 수간재적을 산출하게 되었는데, 이 표로 붉가시나무의 재적 정보 파악 및 경영관리에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. This study was carried out to develop equations for predicting stem taper for Quercus acuta in Wando district. We were used to derive three taper equations from Max and Burkhart, Kozak, and Lee functions. The models tested for choosing the best-fit equations were Max & Burkhart’s model, Kozak’s model, and Lee’s model. In result, all three models behaved similarly and estimated diameter well at all points along the stem, although Kozak’s model gave slightly better values of fit statistics. In plotting residuals against predicted diameter, Max & Burkhart's and Lee’s model showed underestimation in predicting small diameter. On the other hand, Kozak’s model was quite evenly distributed over the whole range of diameter. Based on the above analysis of three models in predicting stem taper, Kozak’s model was chosen for the best-fit stem taper equations. It was showed the stem volume table by this model, therefore this table was provided user with volume and management information.

서울의 Penicillinase Producing Neisseria gonorrhoeae 발생빈도(1998)

In recent years, gonorrhea has been pandemic and remains one of the most common STDs in the world, especially in developing countries. For the detection of a more effective therapeutic regimen and assessing the prevalence of Penicillinase Producing Neisseria gonorrhoeae(PPNG), we have been trying to study the patients who have visited the Venereal Disease Clinic of Choong-Ku Public Health Center in Seoul since 1980 by menas of the chromogenic cephalosporin method. In 1998, 93 strians of N. genorrhoeae were isolated, among which 60(64.5%) were PPNG. The prevalence of PPNG in Seoul, which had been decreased to 39% in 1996 after a peak of 74.3% in 1993, is increased to 64.5% in 1998.

혼합형 자가면역성 용혈성 빈혈을 동반한 전신성 홍반성 루푸스 1예

A 17-year-women developed mixed warm and cold antibody type autoimmune hemolytic anemia associated with systemic lupus erythematosus. The patients was admitted to our hospital for syncope. Jaundice was observed. Urinalysis revealed protein and hemoglobin. Her hemoglobin was 4.6g/dl and reticulocytes were 10%. Total bilirubin was elevated, while haptoglobin and complement were abnormally reduced. ANA and mitochondrial Ab were detected. The direct and indirect Coombs test were positive. The direct antiglobulin test was positive ; IgG and C3d were detected on the red cell surface. The cold agglutinin(CA) titer was 128. The patients was initially treated with high dose steroid therapy. However the patients did not responded to high dose steroid therapy. We treated the patients with plasmapheresis and synchronized cyclophosphamide therapy. Clinical remission of hematologic complications was achieved in this patients. We report a case of mixed type autoimmune hemolytic anemia with SLE that responded plasma pheresis and synchronized cyclophosphamide therapy.

優秀工業系 實科敎員養成을 위한 工業敎育大學 敎育課程 改善에 關한 硏究 : 工業敎育學部를 中心으로

This paper is studied to improve the curriculum of the College of Industrial Education of Chungnam National University, which is more helpful for the students to become a competent teacher of technical high school. The thesis includes the curriculum of general, professional, technical subjects and so on. The main conclusions are summarized as follows; 1) The current curriculum of the College of Industrial Education was formed on a wholesale manner following the basis of standard courses for some characterized engineering colleges. But the suggested is conformed to the curriculum system of CNU in credits and hours. 2) The current technical subjects are mainly based on the curriculum of college of engineering, but the newly suggested technical subjects are conformed to the curriculum of technical high school as following that some departments of engineering are founded in the College of Industrial Education. 3) In current curriculum, the ratio of reguired technical subjects to elective technical subjects is 85:15. In suggested curriculum, the ratio of it is largely changed to 45:55 for effective operation of minor cousres. And the lists of the subjects for minor courses are changed from subjects for College of Science to subjects for College of Engineering.

The Load Model Composition Method in Power Systems Using Artifcial Neural Network

An accurate load model is necessary to improve the accuracy of power systems dynamic stability analysis. Recent studies to estimate accurate load model have mainly been focused on the measurement-based load modeling and the method to estimate a single representative load model called load model composition or load representation. The current load model used for the dynamic stability analysis in South Korea power system was aggregated with the measurement data from only three distribution stations. The proposed algorithm is the load model composition method based on artifcial neural network technique using more measurement data than the algorithm to estimate the current load model. The proposed load model composition method using the artifcial neural network uses the load composition ratio as the input value and the ZIP model parameter, which is the estimation result at each distribution line, as the output value. The measurement data to estimate the parameter were collected from 105 distribution lines of 9 substations. The performance of proposed algorithm was verifed for three perspectives in the case studies. The accuracy of the proposed algorithm has been improved by comparing the measurement data with the calculated result by using the proposed model. The mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) between the measured data and the proposed model is 1.7%. The proposed algorithm could be applied to estimate the representative load model using data measured at multiple measurement points.

Socrates. 그 體育的 示唆와 思想史的 敎訓 : 體育哲學의 原初的 吟味

The intention of this paper is to understand the outlook on life and the educational philosophy of Socrates which are inseparable from his practical knowledge about physical education, and to search for the origins of his philosophy of physical education. My purpose is to recall salient implications and the great instruction he gives to the present; these implications are summarized in the following order; 1) Natural philosophy as it existed before Socrates changed after the incident of the Oracle at Delphi, which Socrates had interpreted as an approval of agonoticism. Thereafter, he presented and established a theory of philosophy which was primarily based on the importance of humanness, and on his belief in Daimonion. 2) Throughout his life, Socrates never lost the virtue of moderation, which he made a religion of, through will power and self-control. His thinking on education was that well-trained individuals are key to keeping order in the home,and that well-administered governmetns make it possible to ensure peace in the world. To this he related his practical wisdom which comes from his thought that wisdom means virtue. 3) The philosophy of Socrates is grounded on the conviction that justice comes about only through the moderate of the good and the beautiful. In the course of this, the individual must pay attention to Eros, love of teacher, and his soul for his and government's happiness. 4) Socrates took the lead in putting his wisdom into practice so that to be conscious of wisdom on both part of the individual and citizen might be heightened to the state of virtue. For this reason we may call him the teacher of the human race. 5) The dogmas in the philosophy of Socrates are that self should be controlled, wisdom should be treated as virtue, and wisdom, as practice. Consideration of the status quo of the present atelete would reveal that they are lacking in subjectivity and consistency between what they say and what they do. The same goes for sports in action: they are losing their educational function. This can be due to the difference between theory and reality. On this point, it is urgent to adopt the philosophy of Socrates into the present sports. 6) Socrates's view of humanbeing is biased in favor of the spirit; however, when it comes to health problem, we can find that he put a great emphasis on the necessity of having information about what it is and how to be healthy, and that he insisted on the rightness of practising good health for oneself, which is the enact reflection of the appearence and reality of today's health education. 7) The tendency to regard sports as a hobby, or as a self-advertisement, and to play sports for the sake of victory provides clear evidence that today's physical education is derailed out of its original purpose and principle, and even in a sense, doing harm to good health. Compared with ths phenomenon, the moral importance and the necessity of the physical and spiritual discipline declared by Socrates long time ago, now gives us some meaningful implications and valuable instruction.

This paper has investigated and confirmed the interest and structure of cognition of their students who are directly related with the existing athletic meeting among national universities. And with these date We are concrete the contradiction and problems accompanying with that event and scrutinize its historical transition and character and grope the way of improvement ot revise that event. Therefore, we have to study the whereabouts of problems and compare and analyze the opionions and assertion of students. There are as follows. First, we have to spread and reinforce public relations Second, We have to confine the qualification of particification as students who is not athletes. Third, we have to assign sport entries equally in both sexes. Fourth, we have to prepare the previous festival for the cultural exchange and mutual friendship among universities. Fifth, we have to actualize the schedule of sporting events reasonably. Sixth, we have to rationalize the standard of scoring each event. Seventh, we have to maintain the admission and exhibition prize rationally conclusively speaking, we can sure that the present athletic meeting will obtain excellent results when opinions of these students are accepted and reflected highly.

二十一世紀 韓國體育·스포츠의 果題와 展望

When we meet the 1945 Liberation of Korea in past days, we need to recollect and appreciate the result of the confusion, the stupefaction, the disorder and the defenselessness because everything isn't the request of the preparation and the counterproposal, though it is unavoidable. And we need the wisdom and the decision to ruminate it today. Who considers any athletics and sports the desirable Korean athletics and sports in the 21th century? It is too much to say that the history of the athletics and sports has been described as the answer to this question. The theory of the athletics and sports is also the answer of this question. It isn't produced without the presnet rigid criticism and the prospect in the future. When politics, economy, culture and education(athletics)in the past days are at a crisis, we have conquered it by resisting and contending against the persecution because the new axiology is presented boldly, The change of the new axiology from the old axiology is born not the order from transcendental existence but the contents from the old one. And the power to have promoted the human history is treasured up the contradiciton of the situation. From this viewpoint we have to present and grope for the athletics and sports in the 21th century.
