게임 기반 도심형 디지털 테마파크의 활성화를 위한 요소 분석

기술의 발전과 가상현실의 세계에서 즐기는 디지털 여가에 대한 수요와 관심이 증대되고 있다. 그런 디지털 여가 활동의 하나로 도심형 디지털 테마파크가 부상하고 있다. 그에 따라 국내에서 다양한 디지털 테마파크가 제작되었지만, 성공적인 흥행을 이루지 못하며 후발 주자를 이끌지 못하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이런 현상을 인간의 욕구를 단계에 따라 만족시켜 무아의 경지인 절경경험을 이뤄낸다는 매슬로의 욕구이론과 조셉캠벨의 영웅의 여정단계를 바탕으로 테마파크의 공간 및 게임 요소에 대한 분석을 시도하였다. 본 연구에서 게임기반 테마파크 분석을 위해 사용되는 모형은 향후 다양한 도심형 디지털 테마파크 발전의 초석이 될 것이다. The increasing interest in digital leisure with virtual reality has led to the emergence of digital based urban theme park. Since there were some game type based digital theme parks, which ended up failed in Korea, we analyzed game and space factors for game based digital theme park by drawing upon Maslow's need theory and the hero's journey by Joseph Campbell. We anticipate our research for analysis of game based theme park provides important groundwork on designing various digital urban theme park.

최근의 무대 공연은 하이테크놀로지를 적극적으로 흡수하여 기술친화적인 방향으로 변화하고 있다. 기술이 적용된 공연 연출은 확장된 표현 방식으로 관객에게 보다 더 풍부한 경험을 제공한다. 그러나 기술중심의 기술적용은 본래의 취지에서 벗어나 표현의 극대화란 목표를 달성하지 못하기도 한다. 공연에서 HCI 기술이 그 자체로서 특별한 의미를 갖지는 않는 것이다. 따라서 기술적용 과정에 있어 공연 연출의 목적성에 맞는 기술의 변형 혹은 새로운 기술의 개발이 필요하다. 본 논문은 이러한 취지에서 다양한 무대 구성 요소 중 의상에 집중하여 대표적인 기술적용의 사례를 분석하고 실제 뮤지컬에 적용을 목표로 한 트랜스포밍 드레스 개발의 과정을 통해 효과적인 기술 적용 방식을 제안하고자 한다. High-technology changed the stage show of the day to tech-friendly field. Directing performance with technology can provide more rich experience to audience by expanding the range of expression. But sometimes tech-centered technology application cannot accomplish its original intention. The HCI technology is not that special itself in performances. Thus, in the process of applying technology, conversion or development of technology suitable for performance’s expressional goal is needed. In this paper, we analyze technology applied typical examples especially focused on costume among the various stage components and suggest effective technology applying method with the process of making transforming dress purposes on using in real musical.

Design Transforming Dress based on pneumatic systems

Stage costume is one of the most important factors for accomplishing the actor’s character in the musical. When costume with electronic devices is directed in proper situation of play, the costume can be used for presentation equipment more (often? Effectively?) than the costume itself. Generally, light emitting materials (LED, EL Wire) are used to direct musical with costume. But those materials are difficult to be adapted depending on the lighting system in the theater and restricted in terms of expressing contents of the musical. On the other hand, this transforming dress was made to transform shape of the dress physically. In this case, it is possible to change the dress dramatically without being limited by the lighting system. However, there seem to be other restrictions such as the size and the weight of the equipment. On this paper, we suggest the production method of transforming dress with air tube and cylinder. Using this method, we use pneumatic cylinder as actuator for movement of frames while cloth bones form their shape.
